now you are a hard man max... and in fact... i dread the day when one of my sons would want to move out... sheding of heartblood and such things... really when i see my sons they are my eyeballs...(could be that the translation looses a bit of the aimed intention...)

That was darker than I thought well your kids sure will not suffer from that mate, I cant doubt you on you're fathering skills, they always seem to be the first and last thing on your mind.
that was to max´s comment... and sorry for the double post
and yes... always the last thought... the first one at the moring however is..."ugh...that early/late already...." i am really not that good when it comes down to getting up

yep. dave... these are essential my views too... and i try to make it clear to my kids that i will always be their dad , no matter what... when they get into deep their dad is there t get them out of the fray...
aye shaso... aye... sadly^^ and thank god^^
aplied the first layer of basecoat on the UFO... mebbe i get around to make some pics tomorrow... for now it is not much to be seen...
I'd just like to say I've moved out and all my mother wants is for me to go back home as much as possible? So don't pretend you can't wait for your kids to leave home hehe xxx
in a heartily family surrounding the leaving of grown up kids always leaves a wound... it IS needed for them to leave you but you also are supposed to feel sad about it... its the way of the world...
at max... i am still way afar from that time...but when the time comes i am sure i will see it that way too
at neil... thank you sir... nice to see you in these lands again^^...
the whole build is now a bit sturdier and i have begun to paint it in earnest... i will have some pics for the lot of you to feast on... even i can say that i like it without loosing too much modesty
lol... nope... i am curretnly testing the waters to start a new chaosy IG amry... yes... insane idea, right? well and for these badboys i am going as bad as it can be... german WW baddies with a twist... and not only UFO´s are in it but other gear and such stuff too... and i have a special lil thing planned to lighten up the moody theme... i am trying to do this as sarcastic as possible...
but let us not dwell in speculations... lets have the real deal...namly pics:
and the matching troops... atm a mere test to see if it works...the scheme that is...
currently i think it involves a bit too much black... i think the black shoulderpads have to be painted in grey too...
will you believe me, i only watched it once... and even fell asleep during it... where it not for julia dietze i certainly wouldn´t have seen it at all
no seriously... the art of the film was quite nicelooking...and the idea was good... but oh so crappy twists and turns that it wasn´t worth of reviewing...
Dam beaten again I was going to say that bloody hell " now smashing my room up franticly "….. "mow realising that was a bad idea and the misses does not look to pleased "
No seriously Vik these are coming on nicely, I have a small package here that might help with this project o wait that sounds weird
I will post it tomorrow, sorry there is not a lot in it but the room is still a mess at the moment, so these are just a few that were lying around in the bit box.
However if they are of some use let me know I will dig out the rest
The grey resin ones I chucked in thought you might have a use for them
Its on its way I promise, I tried to build with one of the cup things but it looked gak so I had to copy what you did
However it will be slightly different although as I proceed with this I see why you did what you did and why you did it.
I have to say I have tried several canopy options, but nothing has come close to the ping pong ball so I am looking towards that as well
However the weapon load out will not be the same, not because I don't like it ( I do they were brilliant and a great use of bits ) I just don't have the bitz LOL
I have done a small difference all ready, but you will just have to wait for the moment
Viktor von Domm wrote:you did see my update rawson?
Not sure what happened there. I'm going to chalk it up as chronic background level fatigue. Today our neighbor had to run after my wife and I as we were off to church and asked if we really wanted to leave the door to our apartment open.

opinions?
I don't think there is too much black. In fact, if you do the shoulders in grey, I think there will be too much of that! I think it will come together when you start picking out details....
if you are still able to do another canopy... i have an idea for you.... my so called fallback option... if the ping pong ball sucked too much....
use a milk bottle lid that fits that indented rim in the middle... it must be tall enough to convince the audience that this is a cockpit...like this...and then you can even add a hatch to it to have one of your lil grotz looking out...
oh my rawson... sleep deprivation at its best?... forgetfullness is usually the first sign... or are you feeling anger and such things too? your lil sunshine is keeping your nights alight too it seems... i know that one quite well...
the smoke you can be sure will be dealt with... i want to have a red/yellowish start that then transfers into grey and lastly black oily smoke at the bottom...
and the details will come... i already added orange eyes... matching the lights and canopy on the UFO... and of course lots of other colors will appear soon too... and they will get a nice shoulderpad freehand too... don´t want that army to look too naziesque now don´t we
Automatically Appended Next Post: thanks childe... and who doesn´t like crapy B-movies... beside... thinking of godzilla movies... the music was always one of my favorites... i bloody love the marches!!!!
Vik the UFO looks really cool! As do the matching troops, the only thing I think that is missing from the troops is a highlight on the black areas, and maybie add some red somewhere just to add some color plus it would tie it in with the UFO still!
So many wild projects sucking resources up was the undoing of the German Warmachine in WW-II, added to the over-engineered stuff like the Tigers. (My head is full of this information)
One Tiger Tank sucked the resources for several Panzer-IV's and Panzer IV's were made at peak taking as long as a month to make 1,000 compared to the 3,400 a month Shermans and T-34's

Thanks Vik tried it but does not have the same feel to it I will have to alter mine a different way
at hazzer... sorry mate... you lost me in translation here^^
at shaso... the whole secret weapon thing with the late war german army is one big movie making thing... so much potential... iirc in a game they made lots of cool weapon systems... battlefield ? and yep... the tanks got ever bigger and bigger and well...not that i want it to be that way... but if some better warfare strategists had led through that war who knows how everything migt have turned out...i for one am glad gemany lost that war... it was just the bitchslap germany was entitled for for a long time... in fact if me and my family wouldn´t live here i would call out for another one...
at childe... well some parts i also liked quite a lot to tell a truth...the epic battle with the numerous spacestations was in my opinion a bit too much... but there you are...
and yep i see the connection... and it is not really a coincidence... daleks and nazi´s it´s the same lot...wouldn´t you say so?
at RW... yes a bit of more warmer color is much needed... the minis are far from finished...at all... lots of additional stuff is needed...only the merest of beginngs...
on a related note... wasn´t able to do zip today... today was my very first working day with all my new kids in school... and it was most exhausting... i hope in the coming days i and they will adjust to the whole thing and it will get a bit less exhausting...then i will present a new update...

Well Vik, back when doctor who first started a woman called Mary Whitehouse, who took it upon herself to be the nations moral conscience... suffice to say, she did not like Doctor Who one bit, this is some of what she said about the show:
“What finally persuaded me to complain was a story I heard from a young mother who lives nearby. During the week following the programme, her son of five said to her, apparently a propos of nothing in particular, ‘Mummy, I know what to do with (his younger brother) when he makes me cross. I shall hold his head under the bath water until he’s still like the man did with Dr. Who’. The truth of the matter, of course, is that ‘Doctor Who’ was always intended as an early evening adult viewer catcher – catch ‘em early and you’ve got them for the night, so the ‘research’ shows. After all, we must keep our priorities right, mustn’t we?
“The programme contains some of the sickest and most horrific material ever seen on children’s television, but no-one has to take my word that such material is likely to disturb. For young children, even a week may be too long to wait for reassurance that the characters with whom they identify are safe. Doctor Who has turned into tea-time brutality for tots. My personal reaction to the sight of the Doctor being viciously throttled underwater is unimportant. What’s important is the effect of such material – especially in a modern setting – upon the very young children still likely to be watching. Strangulation – by hand, by claw, by obscene vegetable matter – is the latest gimmick, sufficiently close-up so that they get the point. And, just for a little variety, show the children how to make a Molotov cocktail.
“So what are we to do? Sit back and say nothing when – after panning to the contorted visage of the demented murderer – the final shot of this particular episode was a close-up shot of the Doctor’s apparently drowned face lying still beneath the water? Nothing said – a new barrier broken.”
She was a bloody nuisance, and proved wrong ultimately...
anyways, the Daleks were created by Terry Nation, who I think was a war child and as such had influences of Nazi's which isn't a big leap to Daleks tbh...
Oh likely had your family left, you would be be speaking either English in Britain or over here in the States.
Now the Germans in the game Rust Tactics(FFG game) got rid of the insanely incompetents, and took advantage of alien tech, followed by the Allies and Soviets, so alternate worlds there.
I see WW-I and WW-II influences in 40k, considering it was a game made in England I do not have to wonder why so much has elements of mythology+Trenches+Blitzkrieg in it. It is English glory days and last hurrah in spaaaaaaaaaace!
Well in the history of the Dalek's it was originally a war on Skarro between two races, the Dalek's and the Thaal's. The war got desperate, and during one of the Dalek raids on the Thaal's they took POW's, one of whom was Davros. after a period of intense torture Davros succumbed to Stockholm syndrome and began to work with the Dalek's willingly, he was a genius and a scientist. He eventually took to trying to save the Dalek's by genetic manipulation after the dalek's dropped nukes all over Skarro. In the end his insanity created the Dalek mutant race which inhabits the tin cans they rattle about in...

I'd hardly call being bombed to gak our "Glory days" Shas... The British Glory days were when the Empire still existed and the country still had manors and decorum.
Also my family is British-Italian, my Grandmother was from Udine - Italy, and my Grandfather was from London - England.
a nice mixture... italians being axis chums to the germans... but from some stories i´ve heard where it not for certain invasiosn the germans and the british could have been allies as well... not a big leap there back in the days...
and... that lil article sure can creep you out... if my kids would talk like that... i probably need to belt them one over to reset their brains... and you always get those moral appostels... there is no helping ...
ever since you showed us your dalek sculpt i read a bit on wikipedia about them... thus the connection for me to the nazi´s wasn´t too hard to make... and the stokhol syndrom always struck me as the weirdest thing on the planet...
Childe, WW-II was the end of the Empire as they lost so many colonies due to the reasons of WW-II. Yes England was bombed to gak during the blitz, but in the end, you were on the winning side of WW-II as well as WW-I both eras for the days of Empire.
Oh and they were Kaleds before becoming Daleks under Davros.

History is full of turning points.
Sorry I don't see it that way, the break up of the british empire was finalised after WW2 in the 50's. The colonies wanted independance for other reasons.
also, I know they were Kaleds, it is less confusing to call them daleks when trying to describe a bit of sci-fi history to someone who doesnt know the show.
The canopy is fantastic, Vik! Really great effect. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the smoke - I've never personally worked with cotton wool like that before
I think the uniform scheme has some good potential (it's a pretty classic look for an army with negative overtones ), and I'm excited to see it with a few more spot colours in there. Can't wait to see how they work out! No idea how you keep anything organised with so many projects on the go at once htough

Yes, but I was thinking of the big blow when India went independent in 1947, so just 2yrs after the war was over. Older generation British seemed to harken that their last days of glory were the examples of WW-I and WW-II, especially with the holding out against the bombers, although we have learned that it was more touch and go than first thought or taught. The discussion could make for an entire evening till sunrise over pints regarding missed opportunities and mistakes made by both sides and the behind the scenes espionage that also factored in. But looking at how much WW-II took out of England, it is no surprise to many that shortly after, the Empire slipped away and was so much more a common wealth that had shed the last vestiges of colonialism, unless you count the war over the Falklands in the early 1980's under Maggie Thatcher.

well worklife has somehow put again the wind out of me... i hope tomorrow will bring back my hobyspirits to me and i am able to provide you with an update...
That would be amazing! But in my opinion if squats where in any kind of codex, it would be in the IG codex years from now, since that codex has the imperial abhumans (ratlings, ogryns, and what I could see/want is beastmen, squats)
tststs... and you miss out on so much...^^ but i guess there is always the time when warhammer takes a backseat... i fear currently that could happen to me... what with school, work and family... BUT:
i have not only started the position as judge for the second terrain building competition ... which is developing quite fascinating indeed!!! but also i have joined the cormadepanda and unearthlychilde objective markers competition as a contestant... and in doing so i hereby present my first WIP pics of my entries... the rules are to be read here:

and the entry for the suply category:
and the entry for the "left behind" category:
and finally the entry for the heroic category...:
the last one will need quite some GS work soon too...
LOL...actually he will soon be clutching at his belly wound...^^ the hairdo will be redone too^^
and you are right in assuming that the colonel is waving the white flag... he was" left behind" and his breeches show that the color yellow sometimes IS in the colors of the proud praetorian army^^
I think the gun rack is also my fav. I like how you even shaved off the power cells Will you be working up a story for your left behind and heroic entries? The fluff would be fun to read!
thanks to all that like my rack a man has to hear a compliment of that from time to time too^^
and rawson... your comment slipped me but i read it now... fluff... i think i will try some... after all it could mean a winning chance improvement for said comp^^
no work done today... paid work took the wind outa me...and the 95°F /35°C too...gosh i start to hate summer...
Once you get used to it, you'll be back in the Saddle, and have money for new shineys too! What is the first hobby purchase you'll be making with your new money Vik?
I buy things with the intention to build and paint them, however something else comes along and then my interest moves However Dave no way can I out do your hoarding skills you win hands down, add to that Lego Playmobil and what else you have
As for the steam tank I got it from a lad at work who was leaving for uni, he had no time for his hobby any more and wanted rid of it, no cost just gave me it nice lad however never had a use for it.
he just put in your lap for nothing??? boy are there still nice souls out there...
and i would love to see a comparrision shot as i proably could get the metal one... but that would be a true build then... whereas the plastic kit would be heavyly converted... no doubt about it
and i see why you get so much stuff and then don´t come to built/work with it... often i do this on my own too... if i had more money i would go ballistic^^
hmmm... fist i gotta get my wife a nice present from my first payckeck... then... then i will fullfill my own dreams... but you could ask what they would charge for the kit...

You must treat your lady first Then guilt free blow the rest of your pay cheques on crap you will never build or paint
I'd have to see if it's still there, and how much it is. I would only charge what it cost me Vik, as always. However with Shipping, it may end up cheaper to find one there in Germany. I'll check next time I stop in. I would imagine your first prize box should be arriving shortly too
i thought like this too... i just wanted to see what your store charges... getting it to my place is kind of like dumb move then... the metal kit is on ebay often enough... about Landraider prices i say... and postage would be a killer...but you of all the peeps will know that so i just have to decide and then i can get it... actually that shouldn´t be a minutes search... as i said i stumbled on the steamtank quite often already...
and i do live with crossed fingers waiting for that care/winner package^^ i am quite sitting on edge^^
oh feth.... now my thread got trashed with a pink jenner...my eyes got hurt in a special way...
on other news... i gotta finish the objective markers for the cormadepanda and childe comp... did some GS work finally today... sculpted some hair for choppy and redid the banner a bit with some exess GS i had... pics will follow shortly... hopefully i will get to a bit of painting tomorrow too...
i worked some more for my entries for the objective markers comp...... i dunno if i am able to yet finish all in time tho... the start of work really have depleted most of my evening energy... so i have rather lost my pace...
BUT i will show you what i did today at least... you may then urge me on to do some more...

yup... we ahve all these lil moments... (hopefully only little )
and childe... i think that is the way to cope with this... changing the subject/project a bit to let fresh winds in...
aye there was a good deal less banter the last coupla month to be honest in these parts... one could almost believe this was a serious P&M thread.... heavens forbid!!!!
best line... he once had an akward moment just t seehow it felt... LOL
and now i have to talk about something serious... it isn´t often that we get to see how a mind can dwindle away.... and i got the prove... i today went to the customs office and got me the package that dave sent me due to the first terrain building competition... and no sane mortal man could send me this much of so much.... to use the term amount... would be an understatement... to say i was full of joy whilst unpacking the contens... would be cutting it way too short...
the following pictures are the living proof that the man dave is finally loosing the last strands of his sanity.... but see for yourself...:
this is the GW and other companies bitz related suply drop courtesy of dave...oh my...ooohhh my.....ooooohhhhh....you get my idea here...
seee???? i inherited the fist airbrush of dave... and we all saw how much this spurred on his works...i am literally speachless about that item... currently i am without a compressor.... but plans are afoot to cope with that...
i already own some I- core stuff already and the metal ones i think are very cool... i think son these will be for my own catachan force then...the sprues will be then for my sons army... with these shields they will be a fitting addition for his police force...
i gotta ask where from are these white sprues ? the street light and the sign post... totally awesome details for a cool terrain piece.... gosh i do have to make lists now to cope with that overflowing possibilities for projects...
has anyone any idea what a treasure these lanterns of GW free standing and hanging...the later in two different options are??? i feel not gifted .... i feel like i got totally iced over like a cake!!!!
gargolyes??? really??? and those nice little torches.... can i get a bit of envy here???
the black pieces of resin are still a puzzle to me.... i see they are made from resin... but what are these... i am sure i only need to think about for a sec to come up with cool ideas... but really? where do these originate from??? and those rounded wallsection.... verrrry cool looking!!!
then: amo for biggguns, commander pieces even from the big tanks... whole moly! and my topmost favorite part so far....: the stairs.... man! this will look awesome without even trying to do so too hard
and if that wasn´t enough he included a whole frigging tank even!!! how bad ass is that i ask ye? that blue wonder of a wheeled chimera stand in will go directly to my sons army the freedom fighters too as i see it fitting right in to the modern and light and quick acting army of his...
THEN! when i finally got out all that shown above contens of that package... and thought christmas was finally over... i looked into the cardboardbox (which was totaly efficiently packed to the fullest i assure you) and discovered that this man... this man that seems to be only able to give with both hands stretched out and giving aplpenty... included the following hidden suply drop....sheats and sheats of plasticcard and even granny grating too boot... i was even then to a point of hysterics already...and i think he did that on purpose to send me even further down that line of sanity that i crossed due to chear mass of....well everything^^
RAW materials:
two sizes of granny grating....
embossed plasticcard...
and extra handy plasticcard suply that never comes in vain
and finally.... the =]_= -logo.... gosh i need to find a suitable piece to use this on....(and i still haven´t found a good place for that aquilla you gave me oh so many months ago....)
or to put t in another way..... many thank you´s to you mate.... that was christmas for sure...i had so much fun going through the contens... my hairs were on end all over through the entire time!!! ...
thought that was all? no way.... because even all of this it seems wouldn´t be enough for dave... ha! tomorrow i´ll show you part two with the playmobile extravaganza! my kids were too much enthusiastic about everything that i couldn´t make any pics so this feat is planned for tomorrow^^....so stay tuned....
and dave.... say laurie she has to hug you as i am not able to do so from that far away... maybe she could give you a bro-hug and say thank you my friend with a deep voice
You are most Welcome Vik! Merry Christmas!) Trust me brother, I won't miss any of it at all. Ladygeek will testify to that fact!
The Airbrush is not part of the contest prize, it's just a gift from me to you bud! Learn on it, enjoy it, then one day when you upgrade to a better model, pass it along, It'll be the "Karma 150 Trainer"
I figured the VOID minis with riot shields and LAV tank would fit nicely with Felix's army, that's why I sent them to you, to retrofit and reuse for that purpose, or when he is old enough, let him, whatever
The Resin walls are Armorcast,
http://armorcast.com/store/index.php I got a bunch of these a few years ago dirt cheap, they weren't selling in the FLGS, taking up space, so I bought everything they had for like $80
I knew you'd find a use for all the raw materials too, and since you now have a nice little stash of strips, tubes, and rivet rods, I though you could use some sheet stuff.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Just get me a picture of the kids playing with the stuff, before they get bored with it..That'll be thanks enough!
yes LDD... that was a way cool drop of suplies.... this will last quite a big time!
and dave... i like the idea of a Karma 150 Trainer! that is a brilliant idea!
Ladygeek will testify to that fact
... i wont ask her as i imagine her to work feverently on her dwarven army to be in a presentable state for her very fist P&M blog here *nudge, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, wink*
and i bet that felix will be quite amazed about that tank... i already told him so... but being still a freshman at school since the 13.th of august he is a bit hazzy when he gets back from school around 16:00 hours... for kids his age it is quite an amount of tie of hard work.... mind you i am quite depleted too^^
oh...and i was particularly touched by your german letter for the boys... at first i translated the english one for them... then i saw the german version... that was something very special to us! thanks onkel dave!!! and i will get some pics... wont link them here tho... as i am a bit akward with pics of my kids on the net... you never know who is watching.... it is truly the end of innocence in our time...
but i tell you this... they wont get bored with these... they saw the boat and the car... and they literally fell over the place... then we assembled the still unassembled figures... and even my wife was fully with us on the fun^^.... that was a most happy family event!
thanks for the info on the sprues... indeed the tamiya stuff will be a nice thing... a vague idea is already creeping up in my mind^^ i bet that this wold make a nice objective marker....
I haven't found a suitable use foir the League Logo Dave sent me either, however, I am looking into designing an entire Space Marine Army based on the -=][_,=- instead of the inquisition. I also see now, having seen the contents of Vik's prize box, that Dave is more of a mad genius then we knew in that he has apparantly tailored each prize box to that individuals needs and proclivities. I got things most usable for vehicles and such, Vik got Terrain like items mostly. Well played Dave, well played....
do you know how hard it is for a father to explain around christmas time why so often we see differently looking santas in the streets, school and kindergarden and so on??? that really spurs the creativity...
If he has a fething flying sleigh, a magical bag of holding, the power to phase-shift his fat ass down a chimney, and has a personal army of elves, then he also has a cloning vat for bell-ringing season to fund this giant operation!
Automatically Appended Next Post: ..but it is a lot like Homer Simpson's cloning hammock, every new clone is dumber, funnier-looking.
I started a few months ago out of left over plasticard, but halfway through the riveting process I lost it...
might make another one when I get a new craft knife...
lol....i don´t see the point in non alcolic beer anyways... what´s the point... if i want to drink beer i want to feel that buzz too... besides... i am not a beer man... but that´s another story^^
Must do things differently in Deutchland, then. Over here, Root Beer is completely non-alchoholic, Ginger beer may or may not have a tiny bit of Alchohol, and Light Beers are just as alchoholic as regular beers, but with fewer calories and less taste.
i figure you are quite starved for an actual update in these places...
thought so!
well here comes the final works on my objective markers...sadly all are a bit on the dark side... well maybe i get around to do some highlights still on some places... depends if i am able to muster up some power for this... tomorrow yet another workweek starts...
so here is the entry for the left behind:
for better understanding the marker: the aim was to have a commander that was left behind his forces in his bunker... then counting his options he felt that surrender is highly undervalued by his troops and he thought he wanted to give this a shot... so he is both waving the white flag and raising his hands to show he is unarmed... sheesh...what a wimp...
this is the entry for the suply drop...
not much to really in need of explaining here, or is there?
and last but maybe even least...the entry for the heroic part...
sergant robert gutless is holding the "hold the line banner"... bleeding from a big wound in his belly... all over the tiles... it is even forming lil pools of sanguine distress... he tried to alternately hold the banner with each hand thus the bloodstained banner even... while the life juices is leaving his battle striken body is is the embodiment of the banners intent... holding out till his powers dwindle into nothingness... poor bugger
Automatically Appended Next Post: ups... i almost forgott that i have an update on my iron sky UFO too...
here it goes... am a bit unsure on the blast effect... if someone has any hints for me i would be quite happy about them...
I like the objective markers, and the ufo is looking good, although the blast is still a bit off, unfortinatly I dont have any ideas on how to change it
hmmm.... thanks for the compliments about the markers... and thanks for the C&C about the blast... i thought i could later on add a bit of grey smoke thingies...
For the blast you need more smoke, with the flames visible inside the blast I feel. Maybe ad another layer of texture on top with flock, then drybrush the flock black, dark grey, light grey. Hopefully you'll get an effect of light from the exhaust leaking through the cloud of smoke.
YES! i think that is a very good idea... hmmm.... the flock is the main problem here... i need to get some i think... or could this be fixed with yet another cotton wool job?
I think if you pulled th cotton wool into a very thin veil it may work. but I would worry about the cotton not being fluffy enough to get the effect right.
Capitan von Neuffhauser stared in bafflement at the empty plain.
'Intelligence shows those damned Viktorians were here this morning. Two battalions at least. '
'This is most peculiar' added Commissar Harmann. 'We should return and see what the intelligence korps really has in the way of intelligemce.'
'Well it is obvious they are not here. Hailer, signal move out. We return to Versteen.'
There was the sound of a thousand hatches being flung open....
Yeah, I don't think the cotton wool will cut it. Doesn't need to be flock specifically, sand maybe, just something to add the smoke texture. GS maybe, but that might get heavy. You could try on the flame as is, but it didn't look like it held a lot of texture.
Vik for finish the blast off dry brush red on the entire base lightly so it adds a shade, then dry brush yellow in a smaller ring on the base shading should mix and then very faintly dry brush white right under the focol point of the ufo. This will sell your blast off effect. And perhaps less black.
i will try out your ideas mates... i had quite a lot of work to be done the last coupla days so everything else...even family life got pushed aside... much to my discomfort...
hopefully i get everything back on track again... including hobby life and talking with ye lots!!!
lol... yep.... i still think it is funny to upload your stuff here on the gallery and not open up a thread... kinda a waste of appereance to me^^... thankfully he changed his mind^^

YES I just saw that while picking up a random mag to read.. on the throne... and the game looks really cool, love his 40k style mask too
As long as it isn't like Rage...it was an ok game, beautiful game, but I'm glad it didn't last longer, 3 times repeating the same stuff got really old, too many invisible walls, too much racing IMHO. My least favorite Bethesda title.
Totally agree with you Dave, never made it through myself. A sad waste of great visual style :( just got my hands on an other post apocalyptic title - I am alive. Seems like a fresh bit of realistic survival game in a post catastrophic world.
Bioshock 2 is a terrible terrible game with no redeeming features what so ever... due largely because it was palmed off on another development company... thankfully Bioshock infinity sees the game go back to the original developers, as well as an American Civil war theme with airships.
Although Bioshock wasnt my favorite game of all time, I have no problem considering it the best game of all time, that art style.. omg... I loved it so
plus when you had to get a bottle of big daddy musk and walk around in the suit!

Very true... it's just the second one left me feeling cold... and I'm not the only one either, there's a lot of people out there who hate No.2
about the steampunk vik if you want small steampunk like engines on your guardsmen why don't you try out the ork wepon frame? there chaine swords have tine engines on the with smoke stacks.
There's sooo many pages of stuff here that I can't make it all the way through... but I gotta say, I love the steampunk IG. The clockwork gears are great.
and hello JWMarines... and i have to be honest... i don´t even be able to recall what you are referring to^^ as it is quite a time since i have updated some good IG steampunky stuff... but fear not... i am atm working on a price for MrMerlin... he won the cookie package terrain competition and this will be shown soon!
yeah well... it has come to this that i don´t update all too often atm due to work, exhaustion and general lack of time... camrade... i consider your comment to be of the nudge character and as such i will urge on to provide you with updates ... very soon... trust me^^
at shaso... yup... needs a bot of time to really settle in this groove atm... but then i am as prodctive again as ever...besides...i have caught me a nice bug atm... work tomorrow needs to be cancled as i have such a sore throat as my voice is more a croak then a yelling...which i need when looking after the kids in the breaks... gosh... they do get nasty from time to time...
and storag... LMAO... yeah... now you see your next line of work ... that pic screams total bad assery^^
Ack, teaching with no voice is hell. Sympathies etc. Re smoke plume, have you thought about using spray insulation foam? I've yet to be convinced by cotton wool tbh, and the foam is a great alternative. Also, really enjoying the blog, even though I've just been lurking for the last hundred (!) or so pages.
lol... hello inmygravenimage! good to have you step out of the lurking shadows!!!
yeah... school without voice is something that doesn´t mix well... or better... at all
as for the smoke plume... you are right... i should have gone for the spray foam... i do actually own a can... and when i tried to work with it for the first time... the lil thingy you push to release the faom... broke off... thus i went the cotton wool road... but i admit it lacks the certain fulffyness... will fix that hopefully soon...
well now i have to go to bed... tho i am not working tomorrow we still have to get the kids out to school and kindergarden
