Progress Report: Finishing one chunk today. It will be shorter, but brings a little treat to those involved. A bigger chunk is also borderline done, I finally found a solution to my issue. It may come today as well. Tomorrow is iffy on progress or not, I have a family event for the day America told Britain to feth off. A day early, but we made up for it in the amount of dakka fireworks we have.

Alright, let me solicit some opinions regarding modeling from you crafty fethers.

Taking a cue from Palleus (who has some great Ork-ssassins) and looking at some Assassin models to run on the tabletop. Yes, they are Come the Apocalypse with Chaos, but when you have a Vindicare clearing a table, it really doesn't need to be anywhere near your units in the first place.

So the issue at hand: suggestions for models which can be converted into some Chaos-style assassins

Those new tree people models came out... They almost look like my mental image for Absents...

Thank you for the kind words, I always do like writing up those intro paragraphs. Archarus' ascension had a nice intro as well, IMO. It's one of my favorite pieces that I've done.

That is a work in progress. Any plans I've had for him have been pushed back due to this gargant event. Which is finally getting the finishing touches it deserves.

Working on another chunk, which only has a few bits left to it, and then two other chunks will come after. This next chunk, as it involves a specific event to happen, and also several factions mixed together, will probably be the largest section.

My estimate? I'll be disappointed in myself if I can't get it all done before Wednesday.

I'm not trying to rush it, it's just I can see me having enough time to finish it all before then. And you've all been patiently waiting this long, consider it a way of thanking you by not making you wait (much) longer.

As for becoming a Marine... haven't really thought of that, to be honest. The Remnants usually just recruit people from other warbands or renegades, they don't really 'make' their own I think

Although that could be a good starting point for another story arc...

Branch out to perhaps using the Elysian FW rules - they are the best aircav rules IMO.
