Hey Blap, pretty sure Land Raiders don't carry around spare armour and weapons beyond the odd boltgun. As for Morias being in the centre of a crater.. well, lets just say he's on the other side of town. After all, the facility he's going to end up in is going to be quite.. different to that one. The land raider crew have more or less gone rogue haven't they.. except for Rorick, but he's in no position to argue directions.

Relax guys, 5 players is more than enough to have a brilliant game. People just have RL things to do or they might live in different timezones. They can't be expected to post dozens of times IC each day. Quit ya bellyachin'! I'll write up a post. Andy is busy for awhile.. Magnus seems to post infrequently anyway.. but they're still two players who are definitely a part of this game.

There's always rules when writing in a pre-existing setting.. but there's also room for creativity. As a very young marine, especially compared to the others.. it's hardly inconceivable that he could be affected by Viola's.. attention.
OK...
There's just that little matter of what happened in the hospital...

Leonidus was doing that to you earlier anyway! Yank out a few rib bones here, slice a lung there, add in a couple sheets o' metal and you're good to go!

25727
Post by: Darkvoidof40k
Not necessarily, in fact it may have quite the opposite effect. It's a fact that having the ding a ling will increase your affection for the other involved significantly, well that's under ideal circumstances. Considering it was virtually rape, perhaps not so much. But I reckon it would still be a factor worth considering. It's to do with chemicals and such that get pumped around the body during intercourse.

Post up. Time for you to go scouring the city for bodies. Also, we all forgot about the miles of mines leading into the city. I suppose we did relay their positions to you all at one point, that'd be why your fancy pimp raider didn't meet an untimely end.. Still, I was planning on detonating those things. Might have to light up the skyline soon.. Though if we're to hold this city as our "base" for this campaign then we may as well keep them to prevent counter-assault.

Why do you hate Viola so? She never did anything to anybody in this company... Several reasons, I presume: - she was a member of the enemy. - she tortured you and damaged your anatomy, something Leonidus must correct. - general disdain for the weaker humans. - how despicable he finds what the two of you appear to share: love, or some form of emotional attachment that's forming anyway. They're heading for another city quite some distance away, but they'll stop at several outposts/checkpoints to refuel etc. Try not to kill the baneblade commander.. yet..

Name: Lucius Peris
Background: A new recruit to the Night Lords legion, Peris has already proven his might in ranged warfare, able to land a shot dead between the eyes of his victim from 500 paces. He will often separate from his squad, aiming to get a vantage point. He is calm and calculated compared to most Night Lords, able to keep his mind sharp even in the thickest of the fighting. He is utterly loyal to his Legion, and will lay down his life for another Marine if it comes to it
Wargear: Stalker Bolter, Cloak, Close Combat Weapon
Powers/Abilities: Incredible Accuracy, Stealthy

HH hasn't "officially" started, or if it has we aren't aware. It'll probably brake out after this planet.
And heresy does exist, there's always been blasphemers, psychic magic users, rebellions, bandits, rogues, pirates and just about every kind of alien marauder you can imagine. Not to mention cultists.. many worshipping the dark gods since long before Space Marines existed, I'm sure.

It's true. At the very least, my character is enigmatically (gak, that's a word? Damn.. was expecting a squiggly red line) and fanatically religious.. something that is highly frowned upon. Though none can doubt his prowess.
But to the point, that gives him more than enough reason to brand those who shirk the embrace of the Empire to be heretics and dissidents.

Why not?
Because you just yelled "HUZZAH!" through the internet with no apparent reason
No reason. Just like 'hello' but happier.

For Andy and Magnus, not sure if you're aware but TGN is GM now and he declared all characters to be in the same time frame from a certain point onwards.

Your characters would probably react quite confusedly to your superior officer just.. leaving in the midst of an all-out war without so much as two words.

I don't think saying a few words to a single Apothecary makes up for abandoning all ground forces without warning or justifiable reason.
Just my 0.02.

Absolutely Blap. Not to mention the commander's incredulous lack of command during the attack.
Of course that's probably due to Magnus not being able to post as frequently as others and the fact that the GM usually has control of a commanding NPC for obvious reasons.
Still, it makes things more.. interesting. Sergeant Krieg is going to go berserk if he catches wind of this..
Also, Blap, is your character really going to die from the loss of one implant? Which one was it anyhow? I forget.

Unless it was the brain (Which I very much doubt) I doubt its fatal. Quite likely harmful though.

No, not really. He could die from infection and loss of blood, seeing as his entire abdomen is being kept intact by some masking tape.
And I think it's the Preomnor, the decontamination thingamajig.

Its a shame Lucius was taken up in the ship, Leonidus would have just loved to make some 'improvements'..

Hm, well marines have been known to fight on even after being ripped in half so I would expect that your chances of survival range from high to certain. And, based on the captain's actions and overall current complexion.. would he allow the neophyte to come with him?

Because he's afraid of what Leonidus might do if he fixed him up

And do we have additional apothecaries on the strike cruiser who can perform the surgery? Would they even be able to replace it? Genetics and all that. They're all grown inside a maturing body of a neophyte rather than grown separately and implanted as full grown things, but once the marine is already grown and so are all the other organs/implants would it be possible?

Maybe you do but that doesn't answer the other questions, such as is it possible or are there other apothecaries on the vessel.
Someone should post a question thread in 40k discussion as to whether organs can be replaced.
He might just have to have an artificial replacement.
