Churchill pattern tank? That's not even a churchill tank to begin with.. it's not even brittish. That's a german Panzer IV.
So Churchill imo wouldn't be the best name to give it

These are the ones that I am the most happy with.
Venerable(!) Dreadnought

Librarian Greg of the Grey Knights, this guy is a complete kitbash.
Sir Sly Marbo and his murderous matching Luggage with adjustable lid! I made this one for MrMerlin so he may have posted this in here before though.
Justicar Anval Thawn, mostly a kitbash and to be honest it is mostly in the painting. BUT STILL!
Warrior Acolyte Gentleman with PA and flamer
Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, (again to be completely honest, mostly a paintjob thing. Though I did scratchbuild the cane.) I am very happy about how he turned out so he gets to join the showcase!
Scratchbuilt Vindicare Assassin! Comes with interchangeable signs such as "Occupy Box" and "I am just a box, DON'T SHOOT!"
Apparently he can also be found on the 1d4chan wiki on vindicares... who'd 'ave thunk?

It's a mish mass part old metal warboss, part plastic chaos terminator, part hive tyrant for the power claw. Lots and lots of epoxy putty, and more to go. Gave him a beret to make him look more taktikal lol, and a big cigar because all great generals smoke big cigars.
Power claw was made from 3 scything talons, some plastic rod, and putty. The arm is a old choppa arm cut off at the wrist.
Torso was widened, and the height was increased between the torso, and legs. Gave him some custom squig stompin' boots, and a exhaust stack out the back. I've also got a small squig I plan on mounting on top of the torso, chained to the exhaust as his attack squig.
Basically it's supposed to be a over the top blood axes warboss in mega armor.

A braincrusha is an ork gunwagon from epic. Mine counts as a battlewagon, though I'll probably use it as something more in apoc: a killkannon just doesn't do that 'uge gun justice.
If you mean what did I use: a toy armored car for the bottom, tracks from some toy for the tracks, a tea tin for the main body, a makeup container (not mine, of course) for the gun, cardboard covered in craft stick shingles for the roof, a paint pot with the same shingles for the highest turret, and a battery for the deff rolla (braincrushas don't normally have these, I just thought that a tank this big needed one). Also, for size comparison there is a rhino, an ork, and a trukk made from a dark eldar raider. pictures are on the previous page. I attached them, which is why they didn't show up in your quote.
Also, I have another favorite conversion:
An ork dakka shop! fear the ODM (orkymatik dakka masheen), and the rivets (which I still need to finish). It is made out of a toner cartridge!

Hi all,
This is my first conversion, intended to be a ratling. Basic guard with some green stuff like thing (mask and belt), cutted down original belt and some from the legs, scope is from a bolter.

I can't stand the Skorne heads so dremelled off the Nihilators mutilated mugs and placed DEldar Scourge heads on. Very simple: dremel off the heads using the cutting wheel, clean up the neck (especially those that had their chins resting on the bicep), cut off the Scourge neck socket. Pin the head on, smooth the join with green stuff. These are primed/basecoated using krylon rust primer which came out a bit thicker then expected but didn't obscure the fine detail on the head and body.

Hey ya. Been scrolling through this thread for a few days now and I am really loving this stuff.
Here aware a few of the things I have been doing over the last few weeks. I'm just getting back into 40k after a lengthy absence. There is no green stuff in sight as I really cannot do it.
This is a wolf lord with termie armour, frost blade and storm shield. I don't like the way the termies look so static do I tried to give him some movement.
The idea behind this one was a lone wolf with the mark of the wulfen, hence the ragged mix of armour look.

There is so many cool ideas and brilliant executions. Nice one everyone.
Sadly, as I haven't been collecting minitures for very long I don't have much in the way of a large bitz pile for a major conversion.
But I feel I should give something back so here is one of my GS that has had some repair work performed on him by The Mad Scientist.
I bet you can see what I did with him..., and ignore his friend there's nowt converted about him.

Throwing mine in. This Techmarine incorporates som Necron parts, and was a conversion born out of necessity. GW actually packed in two of the same sprue, leaving me without the flamer arm and the backpack. I also wound up with two of the same servo arms. The extra bits allowed the mech arms to fit quite nicely, and the little claws on the sides basically cover up the lack of symmetry in the servo arms. The claw, whichs plays as a Thunder Hammer, came from the Iron Warriors Warsmith, and the head was an Iron Warriors bit. It was not easy to shave out the resin head and shave down the pewter head...

Where does the flamer comes from? Reminds me of the Tartaros (?) termies, but bigger.

Looks like it's a Land Raider Redeemer sponson.

Here is my Chaos Lord on Juggernaught. I know, I know... "You can't have a terminator on a mount, blahblahblah...", but that's the way I made it and it just counts as having regular Power Armor in gameplay.
And here is my "Cerberus" Chaos Land Raider! I am loving how it turned out!
And this is my "Centycore" Chaos Rhino / Vindicator! Just finished the paintjob, now all that is left is the finishing spray and gloss touch-up!

I saw that earlier King. He did a good job. My kids are 6, 4 and 2, so they cant try to paint small stuff yet.
Here's another view.

I love that Cap one, are there any plans of modeling the rest of the Avengers as a squad? Though I guess the Hulk would make a pretty poor scout, lol.
Also Kingcracker, very good miniature, and your son paints excellently.

He would make an awesome lord commissar for an IG army.

Skink rider on raptor. Made from plastic skink and saurus. Need to add some more details to the raptors skin, unsure how.

I am actually working on a squad for Captain America based on his squad, the "Howling Commandos", from his movie.
I just got done swapping heads and weapons, now I just have to paint them. I am also working on a squad of Hydra soldiers for Red Skull here.

Its the business end of a Flamestorm turret from the Baal predator kit. But a Redeemer sponson would work as well i think, you just wouldn't get the symetrical look of having 2 "igniters" on the muzzle.

My awesome collaboration of the two "Fiends" known as the DESTOYERFIEND! Mines name is Muffin! I have the Autocannons and Plasma Cannons pinned down to the top. The Tendrils in their spots. The Magma Cutters were not wasted and were placed on each of the PF arms. And then all the other assorted gribblies that only the pics can describe!

Man, I would totally buy a couple of those for my fantasy skirmish gaming if it was a regular production miniature.

Thanks!
Im not very good with green stuff, but i really enjoy mixing and matching components to make something different. Though i did take my time with his paint job. Im about to start on a Ultramarines librarian. Not a huge fan of the models out there, so i will see what i can come up with. That and i'm gonna attempt that fantastic Kharn model you see @ http://www.the-vanus-temple.com/commission-kharn-the-betrayer-pti/ it just looks too nice to pass up for my revived Khorne army.

To answer your question: It's basically one of the riders from the WFB Chaos Lord on Manticore kit: I just made some small adjustments

Post by: jeremyj1234
When you make something look that nice, you can't consider them to be "small adjustments"!

Post by: 4osen1
I guess you ask about thing on the gun (close to the arm) - yes it is made from grenades from sm scout kit.
on the syringe - rings made of the rings from Orcspistols.
Those stuff on top on his back -where wire come out of - it is made from rockets from deffkopta

I may have missed this somewhere, but what's protocol if you already posted on this thread, but then made a conversion better (at least in my mind) than the one posted previously?

This thread is entirely designed for showing off, so if the models been changed re-post (especially if the original was posted agaes ago )
