Denying the abilities for necrons on a 4+. (Depending on your Deny the Witch Roll) Just like Deny the witch, deny the switch would work as well. Also it would make sense because you can't stop necrons from using abilities.

Then we could have a Deny the Roach roll, denying abilities of Tyranid armies on a 4+ (whatever your deny the witch roll is). Deny the Emperor roll, denying the abilities of Imperial armies on a 4+.
NewCrons seem to have made people very upset.

Ahh, this is the NERD RAGE guy. Well I suggest you decide how this could realistically work from a fluffy perspective first. Who knows enough about Necron technology to stop it? Then listen to the consequences of how it works in the game... then we may take you seriously.
PS. At least your spelling is correct and you don't use block capitals for every other word. Have a sticker, you're learning.

as ive yet to use one successfully on my 30+ games consecutively because ts damn near impossible to fail 9-10 leadership tests with no modifiers, not to mention the ther roles involved JUST to get D3 HITS on a unit....i dont see the almighty cheese people claim it to be, and i play against GKs mostly, which is basically what it was designed for now that we can use the force rule attached to their weapons.......

If it makes you feel better, it was used against me three times. Made my broadside punch itself. Which was silly because I made like one hit that would have wounded on a 3+, but save on a 2+. Even with my broadside helping to try and kill itself, it got tied up in combat for 3 rounds.

I don't think you're playing it according to the rules. It's an LD test on +1D6. Try buying an MSS for 15-20 points and then issue a challenge. It is a gamble, but you get pretty good odds at killing or severely wounding Dante or a Wraithlord on a relatively costless model. Against Chaos Space Marines it's even more fun considering that some characters must challenge you, meaning your 50 point Lord is... more than just a speed bump.

Reread the codex, its a leadership test on 3D6. The average result of 3D6 is 10.5, so that means that against LD10 you have just over a 50% chance of MSS being successful

Wait, instead of making hilarious deny the ____ comments....
Why did you name the rule " deny" the switch" why are we denying switches? If anything, wouldn't this rule being embracing the wondrous power of the beneficial switches to turn of the menacing machines?
Oooooh, the rule should be called "Click the switch"
or even "flip the switch!"
but then, we could make a rule about humans called "tear off the head" which makes them not be able to do anything!
I like this!

Your doing it wrong. It should be something like: "Deny this Thread, on a 6+ a MOD finally locks this."
As a side note, this thing is hilarious and I would enjoy it if more people contributed.
