Yeah, ninja'd. Anyway, I suppose that I'll do 15 Kabalite Warriors, Splinter Cannon. All those poisoned (4+) shots! I generally only need 10 to well and truly take out a dreadknight, and with around 2 turns (or 3 for the splinter cannon, 6 shots) I should be able to take you out no problem.

TYou stioll need a 4+ to pen me, and the most you can do is kill 2 in one turn, and not if I deep strike and land close by.

Didn't see this page. The Broadsides are about 180 IIRC, and are armed with TL Railguns. Str 10, AP 1, 72" if you didn't know.

Ok here is my favorite death-star unit.

emperor's champion w/ AACNMTO - 150
assault terminators w/ POLC & Furious Charge - 301
all in an LRC w/ Blessed hull - 290
all for 741 points.

from the termies that is that is 28 attacks on the charge, re-roll missed hits, and missed wounds, all at I5 and S5

and the champ is 4 attacks on the charge, re-rolling missed hits, at I5 S6

and all of these are power weapons.

the lrc's blessed hull makes any lance weapon have to take the lrc's armour 14

They are 35pts cvheaper, but that's about it, except for Living Metal. Instaead, when it suffers a Shaken result, it ignores it on a 2+. It ignores stunned on a 4+.

I did manage to beat that stuff in a real game with:

10 nobs with all kinds of upgrades incl 3pks, a waaagh banner, a painboy etc....
with a dedicated battlewagon with a rolla to smash the LR

at about 500 pts

Sorry if you didn't see it though, but we've stopped allowing vehicles with av. >34 because there are numerous anti-tank stuff and we get into a loop. Using hordes of lighter vehicles is fine, but a stormraven is 12 12 12 which adds to 36: it's not allowed. Sorry.

Why bother with multitrackers? You don't need them for TL weapons on crisis suits


that's why I didn't I took it for my shas'el so that he can fire TL flamers and his AFP in the same turn. the crisis suits have target locks so they can blast different squads if need be.

Target lock allows a model to attack a different unit than the rest of it's team, not fire two different weapons at two different targets. Multi tracker lets you fire both though

It's true that you will pen on 3's. However, first you must hit the speeder. With a 4+ cover save for moving fully and the fact that your scouts are BS3, the likelihood of you doing me damage with your rocket is less than the likelihood me doing you damage. With my higher strength and more accurate rockets (twin linked at BS4(the BS4 doesn't really make a difference with scatter weapons but still, it helps)) combined with the Str 5 Ap4 HBB. I will destroy your unit within 2-3 turns. You have made the assumption that you are able to deploy in cover and benefit from your camo cloaks, I have assumed contrary to this.

Armoured sentinal.w. lascannon-70pts.
(These units are roughly even, because if your weapon hits the sentinal, it'll blast it into next week; likewise with my lascannon to your suit. Both have the same BS, and while you have the missile pods which can potentially wreck the scout at 24" range, I would and could easily avoid this range radius and maintain fire upon you).

A broadside does have a t4, i know cause I ID them all the time with s8 weapons,

With a recomended 25% of the board being cover (BRB p. 88) I should be able to get cover, in which case I win.

Yh, broadsides do get boring after a while, which is why I tried something different.
Killing them, however, never gets boring. Against one, I'll go for the scouts again, this time with no missile launcher or camo cloaks, but the serg has a power weapon. 90 (I think). outflanking.
