Truly though, I don't think its OP!
I've updated the looted flyers and added the power field upgrade to the Gargant info.
I think this is the Orks done dudes but if you have any more suggestions let me know as quick as. I want to move on to painting and making this stuff as opposed to writing up stats! March is almost upon us!

I like the idea of it, dont know if people will like you laying down 10 7" SD templates from the Burst Kannon let alone the rest of the ordenance that this thing could carry.
I hope some one builds one as it would be funny, oh look theres Primarch Angron, big scary dude, take any body out in combat, bang your dead!!!

True... I did use a reasonably fixed idea to raise the game for each variant increasing from the Stomp and moving up! I also used the weapon costs from many different Ork sources to make sure i wasn't far off the mark for their upgrade cost.
Thing is, if somebody builds a warlord titan or even an Imperator, then the orks won't want to fire on the Primarchs... they'd be nuts not to fire it all at the enemy titans. This is the plan in theory!

Scott, your Ork rules are a masterpiece.
I'd been dabbling with the idea of bringing my Death guard or new Dark Angles to the next event but now the lure of fielding a Garnant might be too strong for me.
Keep up the good work.

Is this a reference to next years pre-heresy Animosity event? Surely not, you two were "only" thinking as far ahead as July last week...
Out of curiosity though... Ullanor has already been an eye opener! It does limit the number of races that can get involved unfortunately, but we'll take that on the chin this time around. The pre-heresy/heresy era is also a litte restrictive in terms of tau/nids/nec/ gk so... what would be the best way to plan a second event within the era?
I really have a hankering to do The Siege of Terra! (this is even more restrictive as it means marines/imp vs traitor marines/imp) Whilst it would be a cool event to try and recreate, would it be TOO restrictive for our non heresy races and players?
We could look into the scouring and incorporate the fresh pages of Guillimans Codex:Astartes? It would essentially allow for Heresy characters... who lived, to fold into the current codex options and face chaos codex with their living era characters and dps etc as well as the other races they'd fight in the process of chasing said traitors back to the eye of terror!
I'm rambling. Somebody let me know what direction they'd like it to take and we'll discuss this one as a group!

With the Pre-heresy era, I would make the next event almost fictional, IE have war zone that happen to have a mixture of races and legion!
Once you name an event, more geeky players into 30k seem to go... "well ultramarines werent there..." Automatically Appended Next Post: GK - could be one of the "missing legions" or beginning of the GK?

Yeah, i kind of hate the fact that some legions and primarchs get left out of stuff, especially the seige of terra!
66349
Post by: vraksianrebel
Well you have to understand I get really bored at work so I sit and work out army lists or paint schemes or try to take over the earth you know what ever strikes my fancy lol.
As to plans for next year, the pre heresy thing is growing incredibly fast, with forgeworld churning out the models more and more people are making amazing armies so I wouldn't worry too much, but that said if there is a real need for zeno armies etc you can run almost anything as mark said by just creating an event in time. Its all made up at some point after all lol.
Other than that there is always ways to work armies into preheresy, Nids could be the megaarachnid on planet murder, Tau could just be a seperatist human/xeno army.
True important events like attack on terra get difficult but just twist the story, have xeno armies fighting marines to keep them from main battle or something like that.
18594
Post by: geordie09
I like the idea of doing something from the scouring... then traitor era marines can play alongside codex chaos etc... a mix of both worlds. Imperial fists clinging on to the era rules next to codex sm ultras and stuff! Also allows for pretty much every other race to get involved "in betveen dem!"
66349

Matt found me the places to go get the bits.... but i really cant see it happening soon. I got eldar army to do for the following event, apolo game is just going to be an excuse to paint up the rest of my WE based models and unloved Nids (i hate the latest nid codex, my poor ninja fex...).
Then is the kill teams game, which i did consider using RR, however i think will be eldar, That leaves us at the scouring event, which might see some RR action!
(RR = Rough riders ) Sadly it seems silly to buy a new army when you got some in boxes.... and if I ever get into WHFB i got 3k of orc and dwarves...

I ask as in a few days the Animosity Ork expansion will be magically re-worked by chilledmonkeybrains and look much beTter than my version! Anyway, i understand the problems at hand with multiple collections so if its a no go at least we'll have a second, cool expansion for people to look at! I've been checking out attilans on ebay see... Had me thinking warm 40k thoughts about deploying an entire cavalry regiment in two rows across a table edge! It would look extremely cool!
Did you get to warhammer world for veteran thingy? I'm trying to think of a way to get more info out to ork players as were starting to look imp top heavy! Haven't been able to limit tickets to ork numbers to maintain balance so it is what it is!

I've thought about it yes, will put address it this evening properly when i get home! Automatically Appended Next Post: Tried to get onto the ork exclusove forum, Da Waaagh... No joy as they aint taking new members. Anybody already in that loop to help us grow our waaagh! Automatically Appended Next Post: As far as Pre-Heresy and Heresy Era Campaign Weekends go we need to make a more permanent, suitable and flexible system for the Astartes players and also some rules for other races and their unit compositions (basically it seems daft that a group of Ork nobz is limited to ten when you can take up to 20 marines in an era marine unit).
With that in mind here is a list of some of my initial ideas...
- People using Forgeworld produced books can produce an army list based entirely upon this, that is what it is there for. Certain units that are not catered for can be brought into their army as allies using an expanded allies matrix that will be devised at a later date. I'm thinking of the best way to accommodate flyers etc, that I believe may not be detailed in the FW books. Also, there are a number of Primarchs and characters from the era that FW will not, and may not produce rules for in the immediate to long term course of things... the answer to that is two fold
1 - We use the Tempus Fugitives stats and points to allow players to introduce the era characters into their FW/codex derived army lists at the points and slots detailed in that expansion.
2 - We make our own... which will take some time and effort but between now and next years event I'm sure we can put our heads together and come up with some suitable stuff if everybody deems this the way to go.
- Codex Army lists... Baring in mind that the era already discounts many players who choose to play second founding and beyond armies I think that using FW and Tempus Fugitves exclusive rules is also a little off putting for some. I want as many people to be able to enjoy the era games as much as the 40k games. To combat this we can introduce additional rules for people who have the era astartes chapters but don't own or want to use FW or TF. Small changes to squad composition, doubling 10 tac marines to a maximum of 20 for example, and removing units such as the Death Company ( BA) and Interrogator Chaplains ( DA). Certain things may be missed and I'd leave it up to the players themselves to incorporate what they believe is era specific thus it would require honesty from the players and their opponents to be wary of certain factors. Deathwing Knights would lose 'Traitors Bane'... is that what the AP modifier is called? but could keep smite etc. This sort of flexibility will allow people who have built a force around an existing codex, such as BA codex for World Eaters, to field them and they could work appropriately, then incorporating whatever character and special units we deem fit to generate or 'borrow' from TF etc.
- Army lists for other codex forces, such as the Orks (a very current issue) would simply need to have a unit composition bump. Double the maximum number of basic infantry in each entry etc. This would then be up to the player to choose to field his max 60 boyz... but if 30 is the regular 40k size and 10 for marines, why should they not double up for the era too? Certain forces would stay as they are, Necrons and Eldar are more focused and less likely to have changed over the millennia between these eras.
- Although it is ovr a year away and we are yet to play our first era game, the scouring will be a much less specific event. I have already made the decision to allow 2nd founding Astartes to join the fray and they will be able to include their founding characters, such as Amit to lead the Fleshtearers and Sigismund the Black Templars. Whilst the primary legions will have the choice of using codex rules or betrayal/TF and Chaos can use Codex chaos for those that have strayed further or players can use their betrayal/TF or codex themed interpretations if they so wish.
Flexibility is the key. Has anybody got any major objections to the above or suggestions? Obviously by the time I put these out it will be streamlined and much less rambling, but its all about letting as many people getting involved as possible. If you choose to use FW Betrayal and your opponent is using a themed codex army (such as BA codex to represent Emperors Children) provided they aren't taking it beyond the realms of the era's fluff then we should embrace this rather than rail against it. I think the genuine differences in what people choose to field would make some of the era games more entertaining anyway, rather that then 15 armies all based on the same concept and every game you play has an opponent fielding the same base force.
Hopefully you can see where I'm coming from here. This stuff won't really make much difference to March as it won't be formalised for some time but if you are in a position where you want to use the BA codex for Emps children, (as one of our potential players is) I am quite happy, with prior notice to go with this... just bare in mind the era!
Mark, Matt, Mikeey and Nick, feel free to discuss, we're the only ones here anyway!

I am quiet happy to accept most things tbh, it would be great to get to a stage where we have Animosity packs for Imperial army, squats, genestealer cults - It would be great to be able to reflect those units and armies that GW has left to the side line.
with the PH stuff, it is a shame that players are put off by the idea, but using either tempus, FW or Codex to represent a legion is a common thing (look at the 1st expedition meet up thread). As long you foe knows what the heck is going on, it shouldnt be too hard.
Sooner or later TF wont be used at all I think and players seem put off by it. Take the interesting stuff from it (most imo) and have a link or copy of it. It awkward as you cant really just use the rules and ignore the people lol.
Ok summary of my rambles
1. Squats, imperial army and orks (for example) should have a list of old units ( RT era) and Animosity units/formations
* Rough rider army
* squat codex - duncs?
* madboys, cyber boars etc
* Imperial army units - human bombs, beastmen, jet bikes and speeders.
2. for PH/ HH allow Codexs (maybe a list of codex to legion?) . Links to a pdf of AoTE? and guidelines of FW books allowed
So basically you making it as open as possible but tailored for the experience? I hope i havet rambled in my normal dyslexic manner!
Automatically Appended Next Post: 2nd founding stuff - i think is fine in the scouring, i do think it a bit of a shame, but might be needed

Post by: geordie09
I think its more that pre-heresy can exclude players. For instance, Kantor, as he plays Crimson Fists, has to sit out the next event. If you already play a founding chapter it makes it easier to fold pre-heresy stuff into your hobby unless you wish to start a new army and are willing to do the necessary. I think that is where people are put off rather than it being a gaming issue.
Many folk have already abandoned TF and find Betrayal a much better rule set too. After recent experiences that shall go unmentioned, I'm happy to develop our own expansion until FW produce a comprehensive system that includes more than four chapters.
The Ork pack will hopefully be a shining example of what we can do (when its not a word document! unmentioned criticism from unwelcome and outside influences again going unmentioned... w****r!). From the basis of that pack we will produce a few others, Rough Riders as we've previously discussed and our kill team/kill zone adapted rules will take a similar format. we'll have to discuss the squat thing with the squat players maybe (and make sure they're better than and nothing like previously mentioned un-named interfering gitz version).
We can easily enough knock up a list of conversion options for the next heresy era game as a guide at the front of the pack and will not take much effort either so that is a good place to start. Codex BA to World Eaters, Codex Grey Knights to thousand sons (or - psychic powers to custodes maybe). The options here are not exhausted and neither will our list be, just a guide really.
Some of the old epic stuff that has never had rules will be cool to develop too but we can discuss the in and outs at a later date.
I'm not sure about humans bombs in the imperial force but there is no reason to discount them from any potential enemies that stand in the way of the Great Crusade... if they don't want to comply with the Imperium them maybe they're are an option unit?

Well, its definitely something to think about but to be honest we'd need to expand our circle of contributors before we think about spreading our wings! FB is enough for now i guess.
When the ork pack is tarted up we can start to look at the potential for further packs properly as it'll give everybody a good idea of what we're aiming for... Hopefully we'll be twin linked autocannon on a venerabledread rather than orky shoota discarded in favour of a big choppa! In other words, we'll hit the target!

As to building an animosity set of rules/add on packs etc, i am not 100% sure what the best way to do it would be, possibly setting up a small website or private forum for discussions and rule building while still using Dakka for an actual forum and way to get more players if that makes sense?

I am at the Waagh 2013 meet at Warhammer World this Saturday and will ask around to see if anybody is interested(could be worth appearing as this will have a few lads who know people who cant go to WW because of there new polices on what is allowed to be used to game).
The man with the Squats is Graham Sanders who has been building a Squat Codex for a few years now, i have seen his scratch built Moles and Blimps and know that he had rules for some of the bigger stuff that could be found in the old Epic system.

Hey dudes. Little over a month left...
Good news, I've made some progress with my Orks.
Bad news, we've lost NukeArts for this event as their studio is shutting for re-training and refurb or something or somesuch, so I'll have to wing it with the painting comp prize. It is only temporary I'm assured so they'll be back on board for Typhus for the ZomAid thing.

Captain Dimitar leant forward to gaze upon the incredible sight before him, and he felt himself rising up from his chair to walk the few metres to the main view port. He heard gasps of awe from his officers as he pressed his hands to the glass and moved his head slowly from left to right in an effort to take in the impossible vastness of the hulk. It was enormous.
They were quiet for a few moments as they attempted to comprehend the enormity of their discovery. It was Lieutenant Churian who broke the awestruck silence.
“It’s… it’s huge,” was all he could manage. Ivanko Churian was not known for his acuity.
Captain Dimitar turned and a smile slowly crept across his craggy face. “Indeed it is, lieutenant,” he said, his voice rough from decades of barking orders. He grinned at Churian, revealing a mouth full of metal teeth, and his eyes shone as he continued.
“And now it’s ours.”
Check out the progress of the dread hulk here.

Hi all,
Duncs and I met up to play on Saturday, so we chose game two of the Ullanor campaign to try out. I used my Squat Guard (using the standard IG codex) and Duncs used Orks. We had fun, and made a few notes along the way. Here goes!
- We assumed that the Imperial player should go first? Or have the choice to go first, should he wish.
- We thought that allowing the Imperial player to choose whether Nightfighting applied at the start if the game would help mitigate the big advantage the Orks had with Interceptor and Skyfire.
- We weren't sure if Flyers could be part of the Imperial force's starting 50% of units.
- To mitigate the Orks' advantage for starting 'dug in' up to halfway across the table, we thought the Imperials might be allowed to assault on the turn they arrived from reserve/deepstrike.
- We rolled Warlord Traits from the regular table, however we found that they were either useless in this mission, or rather unbalancing. We wondered whether a short set of mission-specific Warlord Traits may balance things up? Or not use them at all.
Anyway, we had a great game, with Duncs' 18 Lootas chewing through my Manticore, Chimeras and Hellhounds as they rolled on. I managed to blow up two of his Battlewagons and one unit of three Grot Big Guns and wipe out a proportion of his Boyz, but in a reversal of the normal order of things, Duncs' Ork gunline just had too much firepower for the assaulting Squat Guard!
18594
Post by: geordie09
Ey up Grazer,
I've taken some notes from your feedback and have decided upon the following.
- Warlords traits for this game, and also the Blitzkrieg mission, have been dropped and the next and final amendment of the campaign pack will reflect this, as well as night-fighting becoming a player choice.
- Imperial/attacking units indeed go first and this has been made specific in the pack also, though it has not been updated online yet.
- Imperial can assault in the turn they arrive at any point during the mission, I will check to see if the wording needs to be adjusted to reflect this.
- I think flyers can arrive as the player chooses, either in initial 50% or from reserve this game, unlike standard games in which they arrive from reserve by default.
Hope it was still a good, fun game to be part of though as that is the aim. This mission is supposed to bridge a gap between standard games and planetstrike but I didn't want to force players to own or play planetstrike as it can be a pain in the butt, and invariably always won by the attackers (in my experience at least)
68538
Post by: Duncs
All i can say from this was grot big guns(Kannons i had 9 in total!!) were awesome, for 60 odd points you get 3 strength 8 shots with Interceptor and skyfire on the first turn. The only thing i might change is to drop the battlewagons for flash gitz for some extra strength 7 shots. Ha take that Squat gun line.
Graham also learnt that bringing on his 40 man squat unit near a mob of Orks is not a recipe for success.

I'm trying to spread the word a bit on some other forums (who shall remain unnamed, as they are considered by many to be 'the enemy'...) and am trying to drum up interest for a certain Harbinger via the medium of fluff. I've added a fair bit and will continue to do so on a daily basis (hopefully!) since they're only 200 word snippets. Here are da links for those who are interested:

I've got some more updates on the way for the dread hulk (deck plating and corridors).

I particularly like this bit...
Stormboyz - Gain a "Rocket boost" attack that can target flyers. They must move 18” and if they pass a flyer they each get 2 attacks on it as if assaulting a vehicle. Move as infantry during their next turn. Looks like the designers played a lot of THQ's Space Marine!
What an interesting idea...

Just a quick question regarding game 3 - is the intention to play a randomly-determined book mission? Thanks!
I'm on a few days' hols, so just finalising my army lists. I have 6 Leman Russes to detail-paint; so far they have had their two-tone camouflage airbrushed on, so now I need to do tracks, rivets & unit markings.
I'm hoping that I may get to finish off my scratchbuilt Overlord Airship (counting as a Marauder Bomber) but it's still just so much cardboard at the moment...
Graham.

Post by: geordie09
Yeah, standard rule-book missions for G3!
68371
Post by: GrazerGS
Thanks for that!
And how about in the games where there is no mandatory requirement for Troops choices, can other units claim objectives? eg, game 2 - which other units, if any, can claim the Ork fortifications?
Cheers,
Graham S.

Only six eh? Ha, i wish I only had six tanks left to paint... Automatically Appended Next Post: So much left to do I decided to build a flakka trukk from my bitz box... BTW how do infiltrators work for game 2? like normal?

Post by: geordie09
I'm away from the files... remind me, do the Imps move on in first turn? This means no infiltrators... we could allow them to outflank though instead. I'm pretty sure its imps move on in their first turn.

ANIMOSITY - In the Prorogue Recess! ITS A GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS DAY!
Bad News - Ullanor is DELAYED We have decided that due to unforeseen circumstances it is necessary to delay the narrative campaign based upon The Ullanor Crusade until November the 9th and 10th 2013. I must apologise to the chaps who have been putting so much effort into their army lists for the event and their painting and modelling projects that have been affected in tthe build up to the campaign weekend.
Good News - Ullanor is RESCHEDULED November will see ANIMOSITY - The Ullanor Crusade take place in the sheduled slot for The Heart of the Harbinger, which now slips back to 2014's schedule. The games and the pack created for Ullanor will not change and we anticipate that this delay will actually benefit our first pre-heresy outing by allowing players who have been forced to miss it due to circumstances, to attend. Our return to Ullanor will be stronger for this delay.
More Good News - Animosity is STILL ON next weekend. The dates March 30th and 31st will now be open to all gamers to bring their Warhammer 40k armies of any race etc. It is short notice but hopefully the changes will aid one or two people who could not attend due to the nature of Ullanor to attend Animosity - In the Veiled Region
Game details and point limits will be added over the next day or two to ensure sufficient time for players to organise their forces.
I think I'll be bringing daemons if my new codex turns up in time!
I can only apologise to the chaps who've bought their tickets for Ullanor. They're still the same tickets you'll need for the Veiled Region next weekend!
If you're out there watching our thread and would have attended but for the era of Ullanor, though it is short notice we'd still like to see you there!
Tickets are still available, just buy an Ullanor ticket of either type for March and that will count for next weekends event!
Thanks Dudes

Animosity - In the Veiled Region, March 30th and 31st
Here are the rules for next weekend revisited!
- Game 1 Blitzkrieg-
The Blitzkrieg Mission is a mass participation game and a turn limit is in place, the game will last 8 turns. The force organisation chart below will detail the composition of the 1000 points for each race. Appropriate Codex's, FW Betrayal and Tempus Fugitives AotE Expansion + Mechanicum rules, 6th Edition 40k rules are in use during this game.
Blitzkrieg Force Organisation
1000 pts - A 50% Minimum of each force must be designated as a flyer, skimmer, jet bike, jump infantry, wings or jet pack infantry. This is a Minimum. If a player wishes he may field 1000 pts worth of units with these designations.
Imperial Forces
Any points not allocated towards the above selection system may be used to select Fast Attack and Elite options without limitation. HQ, Troop and Heavy options are limited to ONE per force org.
Non Imperial Forces
Any points not allocated towards the above selection system may be used to select Troop, Elite, Fast Attack and Heavy Support options without limitation. Non Imperial formations must include at least one fortification or emplacement. (Not for Tyranids)
VECTOR ASSAULT
During the Blitzkrieg mission, units designated within the Jump Infantry, Jet Pack Infantry category or with Wings (certain Primarchs maybe!!), may carry out a Vector Assault upon an opponent’s flyers or skimmers. If a player moves a unit over an opponent’s flyer or skimmer during the movement phase he may choose to carry out a Vector Assault. To complete a Vector Assault roll a D6 for each member of the attacking unit. On a 6 that warrior has managed to successfully cling to the enemy’s aircraft and may make D3+1 attacks upon the vehicle, or alternatively 1 grenade attack. Unlike the Vector Strike these attacks may be augmented by the individual’s weapon choices and assault bonuses. Assaulting a vehicle in such circumstances is not without its dangers. When rolling to complete the Vector Assault any unit member that rolls a 1 suffers a wound immediately with no saves allowed. Should this wound result in the hapless attackers death then the vehicle must take a dangerous terrain test. This represents the possibility of the failed attacker’s corpse being sucked into an engine intake or smashing through the cockpit at high velocity. Units who undertake a Vector Assault may not shoot in the shooting phase but may carry out an assault in their ensuing assault phase suffering a -1 attack penalty and a loss to any assault bonuses if they were used in the Vector Assault. In addition, members of the unit who successfully carried out a Vector Assault upon the opponent must be placed at the rear of the squad and may not be included in the assault this phase as their actions have left them too far behind their unit to assist. The defending flyer/skimmer unit may attempt to evade the Vector Assault. The Jink is carried out prior to the roll to determine the number of attacks the offensive player may take. A Vector Assault on a unit in Hover is successful on a 4+ as opposed to a 6.
-Games 2 to 6-
The force organisation chart in the Warhammer 40,000 rule book will detail the composition of the 2000 points for each race. Appropriate Codex's, FW Betrayal and Tempus Fugitives AotE Expansion + Mechanicum Rules, 6th Edition 40k Rules are in use during these games.
-Bar Room Brawl!-
If we have time on the Saturday evening we will adjourn to the bar, using adapted rules from The Crusade of Fire expansion book we will hold a little arena tournament. The rules are, single miniatures (including upgrades - no unique named characters/vehicles) up to 150 points. Players may enter up to three different gladiators to enter the arena and from any race, not necessarily the ones they are representing over the weekends other games. Further rules will be explained in the bar! These will be adapted rules... not entirely CoF stuff. There will be a prize for the winner of the Brawl!
Points to note - Due to the revised nature of the weekends activities, if you can not field a Blitzkrieg force do not worry... there is flexibility in the weekends schedule of gaming and if you can not field Blitzkrieg force org then you will be able to play a further standard game in its place with somebody else!

I'm currently in discussion with aerion-the-faithful again. His work, whilst as far removed from the stylistic imagery of Warhammer 40k, is easily recognisable and distinctly 40k in its very own niche! The support of this artist will help us to maintain unique Campaign Packs unlike any other and give the Campaign Packs created by Animosity, their own style... his actually.
aerion-the-faithful's work will be instantly recognised by anybody who has spent more than five minutes on the internet searching for anything related to 40k. I think it is a great opportunity for us to work with him, and along with NukeArts and BitzBox we have some awesome contributing support.
Now comes the interesting bit. aerion-the-faithful will be completing 6 images for each pack. Of the six images there will be TWO full colour and four black and white images. In order to secure his services these commission pieces can be secured by you, if you so wish. Meaning that, if you want to own the 10" x 7" original canvas of the image you can. How do you do this? PM me.
Black and White canvases are now confirmed at 10" x 7" and the initial confusion in scale has been rectified for the ongoing commissions.
Colour Canvases are 10" x 7" as well.
If you are interested in owning the original print, you can have a say in what it contains, to a point. The July campaign pack will contain many more 40k races and themes than our previous Ullanor pack. What does this mean? It means if you would like to own a picture that features a stompa you can have a picture with a stompa. If you want a particular Marine chapter, you can have a particular Marine chapter. You tell me what you want, I pass it on to our friend aerion and his artistic interpretation takes the piece forward.
This opportunity will be repeated a few months before each event and the finances all go to hiring his services and creating a great campaign pack.
Our front cover has been determined, it will feature a Space Marine versus the Zombie Horde! What chapter is still currently up for grabs and available for whoever chooses to secure the commission slot! The remaining slots are available on a first come first served basis should you be interested. I hope so.
PM me if you are and I will get back to you about what you wish to be incoporated as quickly as I can. It is worth bearing in mind that aerion needs details asap, so it is vitally important if you want to get on board that you can PM me as soon as you can. Should there be slots I will dictate the subject matter and hope for the best at raffle!
Thanks for taking the time to digest this chaps! I hope it is of interest. The available pieces for input are below as well as a number of selected images from aerion-the-faithful's gallery.
Cover Art - Space Marine vs the walking dead -
Second Colour - Commissar Lord - Reserved
B+W 1 -
B+W 2 -
B+W 3 -
B+W 4 -
Remember, PM me for more details or to discuss potential commissions!
Thanks dudes!

@grazerGS - would you be interested in putting the homebrew stuff out as part of the Animosity expansion stuff dude? You can see an example of chilledmonkeybrains exceptional work in this field with our Ork pack and obviously the Ullanor campaign pack!
I've been thinking we could couple it to have a section for those squats that aint so nice to! I mentioned on the forum about trollslayers/berzerkers to join my khorne armies! Gives me an excuse to get some without having to invest in fantasy battle at this moment!
Also, was thinking in a counts as guard force that the armoured varients could be power armoured techy chaps as they can squad up!

Hi Scott,
That sounds great - it would be good to get some use out of my Squat Fandex, as it has been a purely theoretical writing exercise so far.
I'll work on it through April (I have a couple of work-trips away, so I'll put those evenings in the hotel to good use) and then send you the first draft. The points costs for units will be complete guesswork, but that's something we can work on.
As for Chaos Squats, I do have a few units in mind for them too - including a unique HQ character - so I'll try and include them in the first draft too!

Bugger there goes another independent, they’ve really had a hard time. Sounds like you have a plan though.

Hey I heard the new about Mansfield, sorry about that, it's real crappy luck, might I suggest Table Top? it's where us and Tempus hold our events now, i'm sure it could work for Animosity too.

Not really, I have to travel from Newcastle. The whole reason that Animosity was even established was because I (and others) don't want to travel to London.

It was just an idea as I don't know where else that is big that you can go apart from Warhammer World and I think they charge now? Which was why Stuart moved.
Megabus is always good for cheap and easy travel though if needs must

We've sourced a decent venue since this morning so we're on track.

I know that personally ttn's wayland overlord puts me off on top of the distance to travel.
Luckily we have a plan and hopefully will be making announcements of a new venue in the next week

For Nov would it be bad to take WE and squats.... Scott you still going for the FW jetbikes?

FW = FB
It wouldn't be bad at all. I'd say if anything it would make teaming up with Graham for doubles relatively simple!

We've renamed the event, just so everyone is aware, for July!

Don't know where you've got in mind but I just typed in gaming venues uk and found these 2 in Leeds, obviously they're other clubs but may worth an ask
[ Club ] Leeds Night Owls
[ Location ] Farsely Conservative Club
[ Website ] http://www.leeds-nightowls.co.uk
[ Days & Time ] Sunday 10.30am - 3pm
[ Club ] Headingley Games Club
[ Location ] HEART Centre
[ Website ] http://headingleygamesclub.com/
[ Days & Time ] Thursday 6.30pm - Late
Also I've heard of a club in Wakefield ( Wakefield warriors I think) again these are established clubs with their own events and such but with the requirement for a venue is also the need for scenery too and these guys have it.
Unless one of us has won the lottery ..................
Well my little help/ hinderance there.

Leeds would be lovely for me Mikey, thank you... But it would hinder some of our other loyal attendees including yourself.
Currently we're looking at another venue in Mansfield Woodhouse which seems promising. I don't want to say too much just yet as were still testing the water! Automatically Appended Next Post: We'll be in a position to comment further in a day or two!

Right then chaps. I can confirm that we will be playing the July Animosity campaign weekend, Animosity - In the Hive of the Dead... at Dreamlike Gaming in Mansfield Woodhouse!
Details for tickets will be released soon and the wip campaign pack will be ready in the next fortnight as well.
The store on site can save us 20% on retail of a number of gaming manufacturers and we also have the added bonus of being able to pre-order a week before and collect on the campaign days!
I'll put more relevant info out when the time is right.

mm, it seems there will be a lot of pointy ears there this time round! Will be reflected in my pre-campaign blurp which I'm writing tonight... after the Benfica game! I apologise in advance if the campaign seems to be anti-portugese, i'm easily influenced by my emotions!
If there is an unadulterated love of all thing black and white within the opening paragraphs... you know it went well!

So Scott, Death Guard or Orks which would you prefer for the blurb?

The bloated and pestilent Hive of Portugalia sat swollen and putrid on the Eurasian peninsula. It sat there like a ripe boil, fit to burst, its rusted red peaks topped with bilious polluted snow. The heart of Portugalia was dominated by the festering Benifica, and despite their galant efforts, the Novacastrian IXth Regiment could not breach their defences often enough to gain a foothold for their next assault on Eurasia...
In short, we're out of Europe.
If you don't mind Nick, definitely Death Guard! (The orks will rest until Ullanor!)

Death Guard it is then, it gives me the perfect excuse to get some more re-enforcements for them. Oooh shiny new toys!

Would it make you any happier to know that I'm planning to run with 60 Plague zombies in my 2k list which therefore would be available for use in the kill team game? I just need to assemble and paint them now.
18594
Post by: geordie09
It would but you'll be using them when the hive of the dead games are on during your own games! A few donated zombie will suffice to keep the zombaid collection going though!

Right chaps...
Campaign Pack is well in progress and I can reveal we will be playing with...
Up to 4 games with 1500 point armies.
One Heavy Assault 3k game, allowing for a single Lord of war/super Heavy/gargantuan unit.
Players unable to formulate 3k will be teamed up with faction colleagues to create a 3k list from their 1500 point forces.
Hive of the Dead rules will be announced shortly!
