This is my first ever conversion. I added some green stuff to the midsection to get him to arch backwards. Also, bent his knees back. C & C are welcome. Thanks!

You could add some sort of tall thin object to the base if that was what you were thinking when you modeled it....no i think if you used a shorter stand it would be better...maybe a gun drone stand?
For the base, I was torn between making him jump out of a bamboo forest (to hide the post he is on) or make a C-shaped rock formation. With the bamboo, I can use that as a consistent base for the whole squad ala coming out of cover. With the rock formation, I was wondering what materials to use (maybe cork).
For my first conversion ever, I was excited to show it off. I can make a shorter post to swith out when I am playing as LOS may be an issue with some players.
"I see your flying kroot and I blow up your whole squad!"
The Carnivore Squad - the white sticks with green stuff will be painted to resemble bamboo. Additional bamboo will be added to the others to keep the theme. Any comments & recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.

Having been one of the people to play DoW before playing the tabletop game, I was sorely annoyed to find out there was no "feral leap" skill linked to the Kroot figures! Dissapointing!
i like it, basic design thats been done to a good standard and works well.
allthough i'd convert more models than just one, otherwise it seems out of place.
also, the end of reign of fire springs to mind aswell
Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
Here are my Kroot hounds using the Chaos Warhounds from Warhammer Fantasy as a base. I used green stuff to add "beaks" and fill in the holes which were meant for horns.
