I play 40k, and obviously its expensive so I was wondering what you guys do to make money. I do the basics like mow my yard and do other such things that my parents pay me for , but what brilliant ideas do you have to make some extra cash?

I got older and had to get a job.

I snatch kids from local GW store and sell them to gypsies.

Just for the record, GW gets 20%. From next month on it will be 25%. They're having trouble with some new product of theirs and profits need adjusting.

I rely on Christmas cash to feed the hobby.
That, and I make terrain and sell it at conventions.

I scrimp and save scrupulously. And when I do buy I mostly buy from third party online retailers offering a discount on store prices to make what I do spend go as far as possible.

I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I save/make my manufacturing plant a gakload of money. They pay me an adequate salary for my performance and my boss generally grants me the freedom to work on whatever the hell I want so long as I continue to make our 50 year old plant be more cost effective than some of our brand new plants.

I'm spending my bonus this year on a battle foam bag, 4 Forge World IA books and a trip to Italy with my wife.

Most of my warhammer stuff came from Commission ( it helps when i accept unwanted army instead of $ , because people
are so generous with stuff that they dont need anyore )

And then i trade them off sometimes.

I dont really like spending actual money on warhammer, because i cant justify it. So i keep the 2 separate.
