Subject: Gamesworkshop to do a My Little Pony miniature line
I heard that Gamesworkshop was planning on a deal with Hasbro where they make miniatures for My Little Pony in exchange for Hasbro to make Space Marine Action figures to promote the Space Marine Game, is that true?
It WOULD be freakin awesome to have a My Little Pony miniatures game. If it isn't true then we should go and make a petition to make GW make a My Little Pony miniatures game line.

While I'm not a fan myself, There's MASSIVE fandom of My Little Pony that consists of teenage to middle aged men / nerdy men, these people are known as Bronies.
There's lots of them on Dakka Dakka, including a couple of Pony-Marine armies floating around.

They're mostly harmless, and the whole 'Brony' phenomenon still confuses me, but it'd probably make money if it were true.
It isn't as far as I know, but honestly, it wouldn't entirely surprise me if it were.

Why would Gm make minis for a company that makes toys and games? Dont you think GW would just pay/get paid a fee for someone else to put out a toy line for them?

This. The people who buy Hasbro figures are not going to be drawn into 40k no matter how hard GW tries to recruit them. Also, an MLP miniatures game would simply not work. No one would play that.
