Thanks guys I think he turned out pretty “dapper”.
Youwashock I didn’t think it was noticeable in the pic but I did try to make it look like there was a glow on his hand.
MegaDave I guess it seemed like a long time to me. Thank you for that vote of confidence about the blue. I really hemmed and hawed about changing it till the end.

All right on to the next project! Here is a few hours of work on my favorite Christmas present, librarian in phobos armor. Since he is a Primaris Marneus Calgar is recruiting him for the boys in blue.
Thought a side by side picture of the sorcerer would be interesting. What do you think of the camo pattern?

What a wonderfully evil counterpart to the righteous sorcerer!
I like the camo, but I think the mid tone grey might need to be slightly more pronounced, I'm finding it difficult to pick out in places.
Otherwise great start!

Agree partly with MegaDave, Camo looks good, but might profit from one more light grey. But of course the librarian is the one seeing the light and hopefully bans the evil (but nicely painted) dark sorcerer

Yeah, I think I would even demarcate the edges on the mid grey to really make the camo distinct and disruptive. Cool though.

I agree with the above that the contrast on the camo needs pushing a bit more - going by these pictures, it's a little subtle, and blends together too much.

Ok guys I changed up the camo, instead of bringing up the mid grey I brightened up the lightest color. Too me it looks better, also did some edge highlights on the blue and cloak.

Nice work Yorkright.
You always need to be a little extreme on camouflage for small models...otherwise they just blend into the base...or the detail is too small to see.

Thank you all for the comments glad you liked him! I have said it before but being part of the dakka community has helped me be a better painter. Been working on a few new projects, a shining spear bike and farseer on foot.
