Farseer coming along nicely. There's a surprising amount of detail on those fellas.

Thanks for stopping by Argive, yep there is a lot to pick out. It always seems intimidating when I first picked up this model. Will keep chugging along!

Thanks buddy!

So here is an update, trying something new with the sword. What do you guys think?

Mostly, on my phone.

Cloak looks ace. I really like the sword but it's maybe a bit too subtle a transition?

Do you mean the green? I was going for a slight shift to green from the purple on the sword.

I think the transition may be a little sharp now on the sword, but you are killing it with the effect on the left hand. That part is working great. I like the idea of what you are going for on the sword, I think you just need to soften it up a bit now.

Maybe for the sword a really bright edge on the green to show that the energy is flowing there? Always weird to give advice I couldn‘t implement myself
All in all a great looking model so far!

I am thinking about removing the green and going back to purple.

I’ve been pretty busy the last 2 weeks (on vacation), so haven’t had a chance to paint. Put in a few hours on the farseer and finished him. I think the sword turned out better than before.
Thanks for looking.

Great work Yorkright. The red on his cloak has really nice warm hightlights. His hand looks to be really glowing in the action shot too.

Thanks you guys, this model is one of my favorites that I have painted so far. Having a hard time finding a project to start, want to paint up something for the monthly challenge but Space Marines are not calling me at the moment. Will have to so some digging and see whats in the pile of grey shame.
Quick update found a partially painted Warlock, things are looking up!

Quick updated pic, going for the same scheme as the farseer. What’s your take on the helm is the white ok or should I change it?
Thanks for looking.

I think it should look cool, but probably with a cleaner white? It almost looks like bone at the moment to me. If that doesn’t work the black face plate on the worked well, that might be a bit too much black though? Sorry for the indecisive comments!

Lovely colour combos on the Warlock.

I used wraithbone for the faceplate, will build up the white and see how it looks. No need to apologize I am looking for input.

Nice looking farseer.

I think the white will work well on the warlock's face-plate.
