Just under 2k till they reach the 390k stretch goal, hopefully they do what some people have been asking for and put up a bunch of stretch goals maybe up 500k.

$420 stretch of 6 baby AI drones to replace card counters in the game.

The large AI Drone actually carries quite a large load out of smaller drones. In the game, these are represented by cardboard counters. But, since all of you have been so great, if we hit this stretch every Biohazard set will get a set of 6 baby drones free!

Optional $10 model of not-Number-6 from Battlestar Galatica

Brilliant, beautiful, and utterly merciless Dr. Hexen Phaedrus is a specialist in nano-technology and neural interface systems. A key researcher at the Alabaster Science facility, she has advanced knowledge of how the Strain nano-phage works, and a desire to see it contained and controlled. Oddly enough, she seems immune to the infection herself, due to safeguard nano-tech she developed.

Despite her co-operation and her willingness to accompany the Vanguard through the facility, her directions and information seem almost intentionally confused. Could she be steering the Vanguard towards a brutal confrontation with the Strain?
And what purpose would that serve?

Unravel her mysteries for $10, ships March 2013 (unpainted and unassembled).

*adds $10*

EDIT: obligatory stretch-Strain

Huh, a Strain model that doesn't look incredibly ugly.

There's something that would make it better, though: pairs of circuits leading away from the jaw, eyes and temple.

After all, why make it just a shout out to Six, when you can make the Strain version a shout out to SHODAN?

Ditto.

Yea, heck I would have thought we would have gotten a "The Thing" reference, or even a Prometheus reference by now

I don't understand the battles tar reference? But then I've never watched it. I would rather have seen an android or something. But then I haven't pledged yet.... I should really get on that!

EDIT: The Hurley drones are all kings of awesome!

Well, in a sense Number 6 is some kind of android and she is not, depends wich Number 6 you are talking about.

And a Strain Number 6 makes perfectly sense the way she looks now, it`s quite ironic... to say the least.

Ah heck, in for a penny in for a pound. Was hoping for something a little bigger in the final week...still time I guess.

I also noticed that the "available only on Kickstarter and as a convention promo" comment wasn't attached to the latest two goals...oversight?

Now that I see the "Six" figure, I think that is awesome, for a whole sort of reasons.

1. Maybe she is some sort of Strain sleeper agent.....she helps the Strain get "escape" onto the station.

2. Even better.....she's a sleeper agent for the Rebels! They developed the strain, and got her on the station to let it loose on the Vanguard.

3. As #2, but she accidentally gets infected herself. But before she turns, she does something that keeps her from just turning into a lesser Type, instead she turns into some sort of Strain "Queen", and turns her back on all the humans in the search for bio-mechanical perfection.

Either way, the Infected version's nice and extra creepy by not just looking like a melted version of the "human" version.

I am totally buying Ridley and Dr. Phaedrus for sure. I am on the hedge about the other two, but absolutely on these.

I'm more psyched about hitting the Infected Phaedrus goal than the Hurley Drone goal, personally. I'd even rather buy the infected version, and get the normal version as a stretch.

I'll be in for 2 each of the characters. Given that they each come with a second figure and won't otherwise be available again for people like me (ie, in Australia), it seems worthwhile for me.

Unless they keep adding too many....

Ten more bucks pledged. Funny thing, yesterday I made an order in Hasslefree website. One of the minis is ordered is this one. Sculpted by the same guy who is sculpting most of the SW range, and likely will sculpt this Hexen Phaedrus. I hope I won't be getting the exact same mini in March LOL

Also Hexen is a reference to number Six, and Phaedrus a reference to Greek culture, pretty relevant in BSG.

Edit: I'm guessing they won't do a not-Kara Thrace "Starbuck"... as they already did Captain Kara Black xD

Looks like I am throwing some money at this project then! Not only are the sculpts simply stunning, I have high hopes that the game will be great fun to play. I just hope I can wait till next March or so to get everything in my hands!

Geez, I just checked out the boargamegeek page for SedWars, and I can't believe the bitterness there.

I swear every other thread is about disgruntled people saying they won't back this game because "the Stretch Goals that only affect extras are unfair to the rest of us that are only getting the Biohazard level stuff". The other half is about the rules not being free to download so they can "see what they are getting into".

As if the non-extra stuff we are getting with the Biohazard level aren't good enough? I honestly think all the latest Kickstarter trends are making people greedy and entitled.

It'd be like refusing to buy a White Dwarf because the issue has rules for an army you don't play, and that's unfair because they should only cater to you.

Man, I'm glad everyone on here's being pretty cool about this game.

Aww, that's a bummer. Of course, besides the tokens for them, they look like they'd be fun to kitbash our own models to represent in the meantime, though.

less than 3k untill we get the baby drones :]

those people who are holding off atm because they think they dont get the freebies released after they pledge really need to realise that the earlyer they pledge the better as it will give cmon/mcvey more time to add more targets ..if we sudenly jump 70-100k in the last 2 days then we could miss out on more cool stuff rather than if they pledge now ...

^^^ think that makes sense ?

I havent pledged yet as I'm self employed. So need to know that I will actually be paid in time and still be able to afford my rent etc. 2 days and I will know! Finding freelance work is always such a drag.

Glad to see the most recent goal move so fast though!

I am also not a fan at all of homage minis. It's actually what helped me to resist the siren call of Zombicide in the end.

The terrain and tiles packs look fantastic, but homage minis just don't interest me here.
