I really enjoyed the final episodes (although the whole 'saying goodbye to my pals' bit wore on).
John Simm as the Master is utterly inspired!
The Timelords shouting "Gallifrea Rises!" in unison led by Timothy Dalton was awesome!
The Doctor's speech before going into the nuclear deadbolt sent shivers down my spine.
BUT
It still wasn't as good as the 'The Stolen Earth' & 'Journey's End', cause I'm just a sucker for Davros and the Daleks.
"I name thee Doctor: The Destroyer of Worlds!"
AWESOME!!

But if they can maintain the level of the trailer for a whole series then it should be good!

You know when I saw the title for the thread I thought it was about Dr. Suess novels, so I avoided reading it. Then I saw it kept growing and decided to give it a look. Now I'm dissapointed I didn't get curious before.
I think I'm going to start buying the new Dr.who series and work my way back.

New teaser trailer for the forthcoming season.
and the last few snippets http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpbmMhNe6aA
From Digital Spy ( what ?! ) with regards to last weeks premiere
We come to you tired, hungry and somewhat disoriented after an exhausting/exhilarating day getting immersed in all things Doctor Who in Cardiff. As followers of our Twitter will attest, the patented Tube Talk scoops have been out in force - and there's much more gossip to come in the next few days!
The culmination of today's activities was a screening of Matt Smith's first full episode, 'The Eleventh Hour', which will be shown properly on BBC One over Easter. Reviews aren't normally our thing here at Tube Talk, but we'll give you the skinny: Matt Smith is awesome as The Doctor. He's funny, he's charming, he's clever, he is The Doctor. The episode is the perfect launch vehicle for him - daft alien threat aside - and it's both dark and comedic. Murray Gold's score is awesome.
Anyway, teasers. Teasers. Spoilers. Well, in order to keep in The Moff's River Song's good books, we're not really going to say too much about the episode in detail - but here are ten slightly more enigmatic teasers to get you thinking:
1. The Doctor apparently loves apples. But maybe he's a bit confused.
2. The episode spans at least fourteen years.
3. The new Doctor uses the phrase "wibbly wobbly timey wimey" at one point. But that's not the only hark back to the past.
4. Guest stars/cameos include Annette Crosbie, Sir Patrick Moore, Nina Wadia and David Tennant.
5. You get the first glimpse of the new TARDIS right at the end of the episode.
6. Question: When is a crack in a wall more than just a crack in a wall?
7. "I'm The Doctor - I'm worse than *********'* ****."
8. Amy will have a rather pressing engagement.
9. The "outfit" that Amy is wearing at the end of episode one will be her outfit for episode two, too.
10. Shhhhhhhh.

Indeed. The interior of the Tardis has been changed, not the exterior. Which they couldn't anyway. The Chameleon Circuit is knackered, so he's stuck with the iconic Police Box!
So looking forward to this. Heard nothing but positive reviews about Matt Smith's Doctor, and I think I'd like Amy Pond anyways, given that she's a robobabe with Red hair! WOOF!
Very intrigued by what we've seen already.

I think he has just enough quirkiness to pull it off. Even though he lacks eyebrows...
Anyway, I'm quite excited myself. The new series begins on Easter Sunday here as well(well, when I say new series, I do mean the one with the tenth doctor, which is new to me).
Starts with voyage of the Damned, which I am a little worried about, simply because miss Kylie Minogue is in it.

Don't worry about it too much.
At least her acting isn't as bad as it was in "the delinquents" or Neighbours (Wife's ex is a huge kylie fanboy.)
Think of it as a christmas pantomime (He's behind you! No, I'm not!) and you won't be far wrong. If you are unused to them, think of very hammy acting and a cardboard set (kinda like Blake's 7, actually).

As for Smith, he does indeed seem quite good. Especially in that small clip in the link Red posted. He comes across rather whimsically bemused by it all.

I hope they explore more of the tardis.
Still remember the old serie, the crew (and doctor) walking down endless corridors (all look the same), and even the doctor getting lost, or stumbling over a room he'd completely forgotten about.
