Subject: 4-chan qeury after hearing so much about it
A proverbial carrot if you may, because the worst of "them" are drawn to stay in society NOT escape it. Escaping it would be to admit some quality of inferiority that is just not primary to the focus of a sensationalist and egotistical person in general.
Lock down as in, prison, etc... etc.. etc...
The internet is carfeully governed by many bodies that take many forms, and determining who is in charge is not hard... it is us as interwebberz.

@Wrexasuar: LOL, gladiators?!? That's it? People killing each other in an arena? No, what I saw was far, FAR worse. I saw CHILDREN wrexasuar. Children, and sex and death... I was PHYSICALLY sick. Never again will I tread down that path, or abide those that do.

Welcome to reality, never visit 4-chan again if you feel it is the sole determining perspective for you to base your rationalizations of the human condition on.
Trust me mate, it gets far beyond what you can imagine, so far in fact that you would consider it nigh fantasy, and none would concur in it's ability to occur in real life.
Watch Hellraiser 2 at least 5 times, then cross-reference the values of the movie with real life situations... you cannot even fathom the depth of this pit mate, it never ends and you will be far past insane before it does.

Agree with Wrex again. That's a pointless game and somewhat sick in its own right. Lewis said you can make two mistakes about the devil: think about him too little or think about him too much.

I just don't think it can get any worse than what I saw. Give me your best shot. (it saddens me that you would know where to find it, though)
Its ok EF ... what doesnt kill us makes us stronger.

xD?
Anyway, manchu, I wasn't saying 4chan was evil. (The fact that they apparently stopped some of the REAL gritty stuff floating around says something), but I'm definitely saying it's not a healthy enviroment.

@Wrexasuar: Radar + Zombie Shark = Fire?
@Manchu: You speak of it as if the stuff you see as though will not affect you. It can, and will. Believe me I found Feaces-In-Face-Sex there by ACCIDENT. This is not an oven you're dealing with.

OMFG. My eyes, they burn! Somebody rip them out! Please, save me the torment! Just KILL ME NOW!
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

EF The "contrast" i brought up earlier is very evident seen from 4chan and the mentality of how the people deal with
all that you listed. Which is why , this game ( visual novel ) is worshiped on 4chan like some sort of Bible...
If you havnt seen it before , let me introduce you.... Song of Saya 沙耶の唄
If you want to understand the mentality of 4chan , and why they take such interest in the bad things you listed ,
just check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saya_no_Uta it explains rather well.

All the zombie shark is danger, and the very clear kind, that it all.
Did you happen to notice the firefighters in that last photo? They react in ways that we cannot, and protect us from the more inherent dangers of the internet. 4-chan could be seen as a catalyst to enhance the process, like splitting water from oil... or something .

I promise you, putting your hand on the hot burner of a stove will have a more appreciable effect on you than images on the internet. That's why touching a hot oven is a cliche and looking a 4chan isn't. The whole "what is seen can't be unseen" business is nonsense. If something you saw affected you so deeply, I'd say (sincerely) that it's a sign that whatever it was forced you to start dealing with some other, more personal issue.
@Luna: That Saya crap is part of the cancer, IMO.

Hmmm... to be sure, to be sure, but I say that kids will be kids, and the parents themselves should be held responsible for their actions online, at the very least when they are in the same house. If your kid decides to hack into gov. files or w/e that is a different story, unless you somehow taught your kid to do that.
Anyway, most of the content on 4-chan is maintained to some degree, and adults can browse any content on 4-chan legally. If you choose to break the rules under your PARENTS house, you choose to inflict responsibility on them in more than one sense. This is where the parent comes in and manages the situation I would hope. If your folks want to let you browse whatever (and most simply do not) they should have made that clear to you, but it does not detract for their responsibilities to their children.
