Because I loves it so much that no amount of hate will dissuade me. And lets not forget, Dakka now has not only one, but TWO people who GW asked to write/stole (delete as applicable) FAQ material. I think it's safe to say with that reputation, DakkaDakka outclasses just about anyone when it comes to Warhammer 40k rules discussions!

wow, this again. well OP, dakka is far more likely to let things slide than other forums, sure this place has its Jack holes, but what place doesnt? Most of the Mods are fair and decent people, and do a good job. (though the random wiener dog thing drives me up the wall)
All in all dakka is a great place. though at times it can get a bit stupid, depending on who you converse with or what is being discussed.
just ignore the people that get on your nerves.

remember rule number one and dont fall for trolls that try and bait you.
