wow and its the very rare adeptus mechanicus squat. Those things NEVER sell for less than 7 quid on ebay, I know I've been trying. The macro is great manokok, Its great to see them up close. Macro photography was partly what drove me to try and improve, and buy a pointy-er brush. You don't lack skill (I can see that cos you've painted the eyes). you will probs se a great improvement if you put a few washes on and maybe a highlight or two. Personally I would say you should base coat in white (I'm guessing you do it in black or not at all at the mo). You will get brighter colours. but maybe you don't want em bright
But seriously now I can see em better I am amazed at how many rare minis you have. Its a treat to see em.

@ Weety...I have a solitary Zoat. I wish I had three and that way I could makeshift a unit for my Moot Army (have loads of GW halflings lying around) but I will likely use him eiither as a Slann adviser or part of my Fimir Mordehiem band...I know that both Zoats, Slann and oh Fimir don't exist anymore. But they should so I will play them. Let us hope that right (and some decent rules) make might!
@ Miss Dee...I don't actually know much about the ambull (though the scuplt that Ambull has done is superb)...what race were they part of?
@ Sageheart. Thanks!!! Means a lot! I don't have much sigmar stuff yet. I am aiming to paint 40 minis (4 squads) before I go back over them and do detailing like comets....
@ Monkeytroll! Thanks and yes...I feel like a buffoon!
General Update!
So...I have had a pretty hectic week topped off by a bad 24hrs. My partner has a problem that I can't help with and really we have no idea how to handle it. It doesn't involve her directly - but it is making her extremely upset. Then whilst playing rugby this afternoon I got some extremely distressing news about my dog back home, who is 17 and probably not going to be around much longer than a week.
I have finished one Beastie Boy and I will post some picks tomorrow...I need some advice though I think.
What else?
Um...that it. I need to actual put some sigmar into this army- so whilst I am on holiday next month (have two weddings to attend) I will try and get a Empire box set.
Oh....and if anyone sees this
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat500016a&prodId=prod1110277
on ebay can they let me know. I will switch the gun for either a bolter, or lasgun...
What do you think?
Sorry...not much going model wise. Hit a bit of a wall.
Aim for this week is to finish the Beastie Boy and a Techie before I go.
@ Weetie, can I nab some of your ideas?

@ Weety.
I drive about 20hrs a week into the Mountains and then Coasts of the Philippines (its about 10hrs each way if I am unlucky, and sometimes I do it twice a week). On the road in the provinces the goats just sit...whilst trucks and myself swerve around them. They are exceedingly nonchalant...
The dogs are the same.

Unfortunatley for modellers everywhere GW stopped their bits service many, many moons ago. There are several 'net based companies that sell components though, and a few hops on e-bay. Can't recall any names off the top of my head, but there's links in one of the stickys in the Painting And Modelling forum.

Hello!
So I have a hand full of days left in the country before I take a field trip to the Australian Outback. Hazaar! No traffic! Needless to say I won't be able to update for a while, but I am hoping to get a lot done before I leave (model and work wise!).
I have realised that essentially there is no Sigmarness in my army currently. I am wondering how to cure this.
I tried my hand at a couple of Comet tattoos last night. If you can see them (i won't point them out) speak up and let me know what you think!
'Hello Macro my old friend, I've come to use you once again,
Because of pictures better focused, show my paint quite atrocious...'

Some photos:
Ps. The last picture...I have its head and its other arm (somewhere) I also have two full boxes of them...so about 10 or 12. A cookie for whoever can guess what they are!

@ Disjointed - Yep he is from the Schaeffer Box set. I think that was the last thing I bought before giving up.
@ Monkey Troll - Yes I got two Regiment of Renown Golfag's Ogres boxs to beef up my Halfling Army which I am still looking for pieces for. (A leader, some calvalry and some Blood Bowl who I want to form into a regiment called 'Crotch Biters'.
My dog was put to sleep yesterday, and I am pretty cut up about it. I haven't done anything work wise or hobby wise. Might do some tonight but seen as I am back to the site tomorrow and Monday, then out of country on Tuesday I am not sure what. Might try and finish the beastmen off as I got some good feedback on the leaders.
Oh. A couple of days ago picked up some burnished gold and some ultraviolet green for power weapons.
Sorry not much to update...and no Sigmar stuff.
Might get a box of Empire if I can whilst away. Automatically Appended Next Post: Inexplicably they don't sell Chaos Black here...so I might have no black in my army. Which is a bit bad as I had a really good idea for Sigmar's armour.
