Dear reds8n, Are you sure about the army painting guide being a splash release? The one for the Empire is still available after quiet a long time. If it was limited, they printed a lot of copies in the one print run. Thanks!

Aye agreed, the site is playing games with itself atm, but when it settles down gonna grab a pre-order of that and the cards.
Maelstrom was unable to get me the High Elf cards in time last time, so had to pay a tenner on ebay.

Sources I consider very reliable say that these are one print run deals.

I guess if there's sufficient demand they might strectch to a second print run, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon.

GW...I hate you. Just when I want to burn down the establishment you come out with this goodness. I hope the HPA isnt limited like it looks like. I have a convereted one but I can always use a new one. The warp lightning cannon combo is very nicely done. Though bigger then the metal one, this looks more satisfying.

I think the catapult looks wonky, mechanically speaking, but the abomination is quite nice. Of the two characters, I like Tretch more than Ikit, but neither's an eyesore. I doubt many Skaven aficionados are disappointed with this crop.

Is that just for the UK? The US site shows nothing of the sort, at least that I am seeing.
If it does have a "while stocks last logo"...it may be that they're doing what they did with the Apocalypse formations or the big Imperial Strongpoint set.
Limited release in stores for a bit, then available all year on the site/direct order.

Don't panic and don't forget your towel. The HPA is not a splash release, it's an expensive new kit with a full color printed box and it will be around for an indefinite period of time like any other similar kit. And the website is back up. HPA link. Also, the Skaven Uniform and Heraldry Guide does not appear to be a splash release either.

Is it me or does the Warp lightning cannon look a little too high up on the model. I know this could be fixed by a hopefully simple conversion by mounting it upside down, still it looks a little off as it is but the cannon itself looks very promising indeed.
