Its no biggie,

I have a guy that is looking to paint one, but I figured I would extend the offer if you felt up to it

BTW, Navarro has thought about doing some smaller Xenomorph heads that may be better suited to the smaller bugs, he thinks the current ones are better for Warriors.

I will eventually order your Tervigon and paint it to my standards (see sig), but I am waiting for the ... erm ... Alien drop pod to be released

I know it's been said, but those scarab terminator shoulder pads are incredible. I hope you will continue with that theme, with different iconography. I'd love some blood raven pads like that, maybe with a generic eagle/bird thing that a blood drop could be added to.

Check out my newly painted Tervigon. I plan on having 4 more!

I think it looks much different from the greys I showed previously. Maybe this will win some of you over

To be honest I've never bought anything from you and don't plan to in the foreseeable future, so take this with a grain of salt, but I don't like the way you can see the dome connection the Carnifex trunk to the Chapterhouse body. This is completely concealed in the Carnifex kit.

And to second this, I thought it was said that it would be concealed on the final figure...

Overall, I think it looks better painted than the greens you had up before, but I agree, visible connection dome is bad. I also dislike the area around the head. About as good as you'd get for a commercially available conversion kit I'd think though.

Looks good. I still think those feet look too small for the new bigger body - hmm, would 'over-hooves' be too silly, i.e. fitting over the standard hooves but bulking them up, perhaps even splitting them into multiiple toes?

It is a compromise you have to accept when you absolutely want the "somersaulting pregnant elephant" pose

If it bothers people that much, they can stick a wad of textured greenstuff around the visible dome to conceal it. That part doesn't seem like it should be the deal-breaker that some people are making it out to be.

looks good! But please tell me you guys are going to be working on filling the gaps in the DE range. Maybe get a bit creative and do some originals? Or even look at the other ranges for conversions packs that will fit with DE.

Yeah, don't get the poo pooing of some very good kits. The Tervigon looks like the book shows. It may have some quirks, or not meet a personal preference, but it's a great kit and reasonably priced. And I don't even play Nids!

The 1K Sons stuff seems to be the best of a good release set, though. Those scarab pads are quite nifty!

You know, I am all about customer service, but why do some people insist on fixating on such a minor detail that you wont even see on the table and can EASILY change with your personal model?

It is up to the end user to assemble the model how they like, you dont even need the dome if you dont want it, and the tail end will push further in as well.

1K son pads are casting up this week, as well as the mantis pads.

As soon as we see the codex as well as the range, I am sure there will be items that will need to be done.

Hi Nick! I really like the tervigon kit.

I was a little concerned that the beast looked so front-heavy. I appreciate that it would support itself with it's talons, but stick it on some earthy ground and it would be up to it's armpit-tits. Any thoughts?

Anyway, by far the best commercially available kit I've seen. I will probably buy one.

I guess you could use some different arms from the Tyranid line. I have always been a purist and try to use the model as I imagine it is in the codex.

Maybe some some warrior talon hands?

My suggestion: Wait until the 1.5 and 2nd wave are released, there will not be many gaps in this complete overhaul of the DE miniature range, even when the Codex only has pics of the first wave models (plus art).

BTW one day, I will buy the conversion kit and show, how much better a lumbering Tervigon made from that kit will look. Just now I have to save money for the German GenCon-equivalent next week.

I sent the spartan heads in last week for molding, so hopefully this week or next week.

The tactical Rhino doors should be in this week. I have some, but they came in thinner then I wanted (holes etc in the cast).

Honestly, and Nick you know me to be a huge critique of your work, but I think this isn't that bad. I mean you crated something that GW wasn't and you stayed farely true to the description, my only gripe would be your products would sell better if you hired demon painters or well known painters. It generally costs more money but makes you more in the long run, and when you go to trade shows and conventions you have some nice stuff to show off to people.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Yeah, I could sell them, but then I would have some rotten quality issues.. I have ran into that in the past, but that is more due to error, not me doing it on purpose once I see the problem.

Personally, I could use the pieces, as I know how to fix the issue, but I cant expect paying customers to do the same.

True, and we are not there yet... but I may have found an avenue to decrease our production cost and this may mean we have money to spend on other areas like website design and painting crews.

Looks just like the pic to me! A good kit for people wanting to make a recognizable tervigon . I've seen some... err... "creative" ones in person, but I like this one a lot.

Pretty much done painting mine, just some final detail touches and the base to go. Quite happy with how it turned out actually, I'm glad i didn't have to scratch build it, I'm awful with green stuff. I'm not exactly a Golden Demon quality painter, so excuse the newbish-ness of it.

You can see em in my gallery if you wanna look at them there as well.

Thats nice, mind if I steal your photos for our gallery? I think I will have a gallery in the new website for each piece, showing different players painted nids.

I see you were able to fill the gaps on the side spines as well, that is really the only area I had to greenstuff due to differences in GW models over time and ours.
