OK,

Got the resins in yesterday, the pewter molds are still in the works (so no heads or shoulder pads until late next week).

That being said, here is the good news.

I have been able to price the Tervigon conversion kit to $22.50. I hope I am not shooting my foot off, but I believe that the lower price will drive higher sales (I can more then emphasize with you guys on price, I do NOT want to GW myself out of business).

I intend on putting the Tervigon on the site tommorow. Anyone who wants to beat the rush, you can email me an order (I do only have 10 of these in stock at the moment, with a ton more coming in next week).

I have 2 molds running of the Tervigon kits.

The same is true for the Space Wolf Door set, the Tactical Door set and the Dragon Door set.

Wow just looked on ebay, the average price for the oval bases is around $6.00. I guess I have a decent deal.

Now available on the site for purchase!

I received the first runs of the Chapterhouse Studios Tervigon Conversion kit this week!

I am so happy to say that I will be able to price them VERY competitively. These kits will run $22.50 and will include a very necessary (in my opinion) oval base to mount your monster on.

Available for purchase here!

The kit is designed to fit with the Carnifex plastic kit with little to no modification.

Also being worked on is a rather ambitious Tyranid Spore Pod. I will admit to being a little afraid of what this beast of a model will cost to produce. It is undergoing some modifications (with a very handy dremel tool) to lose as much unnecessary material as possible.

I just ordered one of the Tervigon kits. Can't wait for it to get here, I'll finally have a use for that carnifex kit sitting in my closet.

I hope the Spore Pod doesn't look too much different! I love the way it looks!

Have you considered selling "bitz" from your kits?

For example, I would love to order the top two Tervigon pieces and maybe half of a Spore Pod. Perhaps even, I'd like to order a full set of Eldar Jetbike "shield generator" things.

The main problem with that is we would be left with a large amount of less-desirable bits..

question Nick, if provided, could you post to a Chinese address?

And on the side, you guys at Chapterhouse do some sweet work, I noticed (maybe incorrectly) that FW seems to be putting out some stuff recently that looks to combat the 3rd party bits coming out. But the bits and bobs on your site are better than FW. Just great work.

My suggestion: Change the pose to something more realistic. If you want to sell an elephant kit, don't glue it together sommersaulting
Would also close the gap at the hip, assuring people that the kit really fits without modifications.

Yep, we ship worldwide, the only caveat is that I cant track to international addresses, to do so would make the shipping no less then $30. I have not had many issues with lost packaging though, I think I have had 1 out of 3500 international packages go missing.

I have also noticed that FW seems to be waking up and trying to battle us 3rd party businesses that actually listened to customers wants. All I can do is beat their huge prices and try to keep up on what you guys want.

Planning on doing so, I will be doing a small modification to the legs to make sure the torso is more hunched over. There is no issue with the ball joint when the model is completely assembled.

The tervigon looks really good, and I love the fact that you knew people would be using the carnifex model. Might have to pick a few up.

Look forward to getting my nids back on the table.

The only problem with that picture of the Tervigon kit is that the Tervigon is only allowed one pair of Scything Talons. But that's not really a problem for the kit.

The Tervigon is depicted with two pairs of very scything talon-like legs in the book, though. I assume they have one pair of talons and (optionally) one of scything talons.

Yeah, according to the only GW illustration we have ever seen, it has scything talon like legs, just like the larger Hieruphant.

I agree on the legs, but overall I am a bit underwhelmed on the model.

Sir Isaac Newton may be the deadliest son-of-a-bitch in space, but John von Neumann is the logistics officer that eats your problems and turns them into kit.

The mismatched plates that don't align with the vents and grooves? Perhaps the teensy-weensy waist with a torso that doesn't even cover the ugly round joint?

It's a terribly disappointing model.

8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.

8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.

Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

Are you just trolling or are you really not aware that the model is only temporarily put together with bluetack? It has been stated several times in this thread that there are no allignment issues if the model is glued together (esp. when glued into a more lumbering pose).

It's seems not quite right from what I see so far, I'd very much like to see a "final" build of this kit.

Okay, to hush or or confirm the gripes of the people in this thread about the Tervigon, I am going to do a review of this kit when mine arrives in the mail. We shouldn't be bashing the item until at least one person has it in their hands to properly judge it. I've found that alot of models look much better in person than they do in a 2D picture...

After all, I thought the Genestealer Heads from CHS looked great...and they do...but then I got them and realized they were quite oversized. No offense to the sculptor or seller; I'm actually trying to find a way to modify them into Spore Mines.

How long till you get one painted from when it arrives, I am looking for a high level painted model so I can use it on our site, if you do a good job, ill send you some stuff as a thank you.

Sorry about the Ymgrl heads, though spore mines sound interesting.

Well, to be quite honest, I'm not quite sure you'd want my interpretation of your model, since my Tyranids are painted/converted to look like the Aliens from the Alien series; they're almost entirely black with a few silver/gray highlights. That, coupled with the fact that there will be a good amount of Greenstuff/conversions, would make for a very bastardized display model for your site. I think all the conversions I plan to do would detract from the kit in the sense that their attention would be focused more on the particular model rather than the conversion kit used to make it.

I'm also not that good of a painter. I mean, I'm alright. But "High Level"...not so much. I appreciate the offer, however, and could possibly point you in the direction of someone who might be able to do it.
