Love what you're doing with your Orks, however the base edge is just not the right colour.

Really nice stuff! I'm a big fan of the looted vehicles.

Once the number seven, being the seventh number, be reached, then formest thou thy first Plague Marine squad. Likewise, thou shall marshall thy remaining troops in squads of Seven, and Seven shall be the number of brothers in each of your squad."

They DO look better on the mat! But I would've preferred either a darker green, brown or even black edge. Matter of taste I guess.

Got them meganobz painted up, they're lookin pretty cool next to my mega warboss. Can't wait to give'm a go hopefully next week sometime. I still think they'll be better once I make a mad dok grotsnik model but that's a few weeks out at least. Anyway, enjoy

Well green is my favourite color so there is some bias there for me.

Finally got the ard boyz painted. I also made my own version of mad dok grotsnik, didn't get a work in progress pic though. I wanted him to be similar to fabius bile, all about the venomous toxin's and cables and stuff. For his left arm I wanted a mix of needle and sewing device for re-attaching limbs. His powerklaw is from the talos pain engine, I wanted it to also look like it could inject poisons. I played him for the first time yesterday and I wasn't overly impressed. I think he'd be a good force multiplier in big games because of the cybork body stuff but his rules are little weird. He basically has like psychic rage because he doesn't even need line of sight to the closest enemy to have to head right for them which means it's pretty easy for the enemy to lead him away with a tiny useless unit. I had him with 3 meganobz in a trukk and put him in reserve to try and avoid some of the down sides but it didn't really help. Anyway, still happy with how the model turned out.

I've included links to the pix on the dakka gallery. If you like what you see I'd love you to rate the paintjob/coolness

'Ard boyz are looking pretty nice, like the bandolier over the shoulder pad look.

Great Grotsnik, I'll have to look out for a talos if that's where the claw came from.
