Found a rhino and a land raider in my neighbours trash (noticed a bunch of 40k boxes while walking by). So I figuered what the hell, why not make some battlwagons/looted wagons. Also picked up 2 kan boxes and bashed'em together to make deff dreads. I picked up the orks from the black reach box set off my buddy. I also grabbed a box of lootas/burnas and kit bashed with the black reach boyz. More pics to come.

Another Goff army brethren cheers!

Love ya mek models. Though I regonize alot of those parts from a Stompa Kit. Got anything painted yet curious to how ya gonna do goff. Though they are ment to be white/silver and black. The loads of black makes me feel like I didnt paint something. Looking forward to what you display.

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47

Gonna paint them primarily black with white skull gliffs and white teef. Heavy use drybrushed metalics.

Got the vehicles about 50% done. Also started painting my cutsom big mek. Magnetized the arms so that I can give him a kff or a shokk attack gun. Also made it so I can give him a skorcha on the left arm. The last addition was a twin linked shoota for the right arm so I can also use him as ghazghkull. I don't really like the whole front of the skullwagon being white, I might end up painting that black again. Still lots of details to paint, going to add a lot more rust and a crapload of black wash to everything. Anyway, more to come. Stay tuned.

Well the first half of the army is done. All that's left is to paint the infantry. Painting orks is really different than any other army, it's nice to do some weird abstract rust patterns instead of the usual precise stuff. I'm happy with how the battlewagon came out, can't wait to get it on the table top and run some stuff over. Not as happy about the skullwagon now that I realize how crappy looted vehicles are. I'll probably just run it as a truck or something most of the time. I made some modifications to the warboss so now he has a kombi-skorcha. I added some more gore to the saws and other close combat weapons.

Nooo goblin green bases!

Love your work though mate. You've managed, deftly, to avoid the trap of sticking random bitz onto a vehicle and calling it looted. You've managed to be artistic with your anarchy.
I think the whiteness of the rhino really works too, especially as you've added a bit of weathering to the edges.

Great conversions, especially the Stompa-faced Rhino. Is it just me or are those Deff Dreads built up from Kanz?

That Big Mek rocks! I love the SAG... if that's what that giant cannon is. The close combat arm seems dwarfed compared to most of the other arms, though. The paint looks great too. Very Goffy.

Thanks guy, it's been a learning experience for sure. Heh, no one seems to like the old school eavy metal bases. What would you reccomend instead of goblin green?

Yup, kitbashed 2 boxes of kans together to make'm. What's cool is there's a lot of good bitz left over and 3 sets of legs, one of which I used to make my big mek.

It's definitely a shokk attack gun . I might have gone a bit overboard in size but it's orks afterall, they're not subtle creatures. The chainsaw arm is a bit small it's true, I guess it helps to exaggerate the size of the other arm. Thanks for the kind words

I'm thinkin it must have been like buddy's parents cleaning out his room or something. It was all the 40k boxes that made me dig through the trash.

Finally got off my ass and took some pix of the infantry. It's not a huge army by any means, I struggle to make 1500pts out of it. I'm hoping to add more lootas and burnas, definitely more nobz with meaner toys and maybe some kans or buggies. I was originally going to finish the skin with a final wash of bedab black for a nicer gradient but for some reason I'm liking the more cartoonish sharp line look. Haters will hate about the goblin green bases but I just can't fall out of love with the old school eavy metal goodness.

The base edges are quite literally the only thing in this thread I don't like. Fantastic work on the wagon-bashes, especially.

I'd recommend the goblin green, i think it looks great. Your boyz are quite dark, the white glyphs/checks, green skin, metal and the grass on your bases are very striking because of it, and i think the gobbo green helps the effect.

My favorite so far is the big mek for sure
