Damn. Well now everyone won't rag on you for the bumbling camera pic as that was all you could actually take a pic of, just the upper body and some legs/head.

Crystals are really only on the things that have Gauss weaponry.

Talking more about their constructs for the crystals. Eloquent spines and the skeletal body makeup help define the infantry but when it comes to the constructs that is a whole new area. Just throwing out ideas to help keep the nay sayers away.

If you look at the top left hand corner of the picture, about where the "shoulder" would be, just on top of the 2nd leg down, it looks like a heavy gauss cannon, minus the green crystal rods. I know, I know, most of you will say, "it's just part of the leg Salacious...". Except all the legs come from underneath the carapace as far as I can tell in the picture. Too grainy to be sure, but give it a good look. Looks like they took it off a destroyer and it will be "shoulder" mounted on this guy, most likely one on each shoulder. Pretty awesome actually.

On another note, just think if this thing can transport troops around, shoot AND then fight in an assault. Because hey, who says robots in the far future don't ride giant millipedes? The guys in Dune rode giant worms after snorting the residue they leave behind. Maybe they have 'pimp my millipede' competitions when the Tomb Lord is deactivated for his monthly down cycle.

True, but it was pretty tiny, hence the blurriness of my photo!

It looks like the picture of the catachan devil in the newest tyranid codex. Thats just my opinion

It doesnt have rules. It was just a little pic and some fluff. Maybe it was in the previous nid codex. Been a while since i looked through the nid stuff. Maybe itll be a new apocalypse only thing?

Catachan Devils won't be "a new Apocalypse only thing"...because they only can survive and live on Catachan, are incredibly rare beasts, and any other number of things.

They're basically devolved Trygons.

It just looks too Bug like to be necron. Although if its necron, i may have to start up some crons

How does it look Tyranid?
Tyranid stuff is more organic. Even the overlapping armor plates you see on things like the Carnifex or Warrior/Tyrants "blend" into each other. They don't suddenly terminate like they do here.

I dunno. It just reminded me of that. And even if the catachan devils are devolved trygons.... THEY LOOK SOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

and they spit acid....

Many tyranids spit acid, not somthing to get excited about. Hell, Carnifexes spit plasma and Trygons vomit lighting bolts.

It is a bloody Necron!

I can see where you are coming from both directions. the carapace looks like 'nids. i can also see what appears to be the heavy gauss cannon mentioned earlier by Salacious Greed. its hard to say really.

but then again im always looking for something to boost my crons to help me beat the tier one army at my lgs.

It's face looks to be covered with lenses, just like a tomb spyder. It's fairly clear that it's necron.

Here is a simple picture showing you how it is a Necron machine, and not an organic tyranid or Catachan Devil.
- There are Necron style ridges on its back
- It has a face similar to a Tomb Spyders
- Its legs look similar to a Tomb Spyders
- And it also has a weapon on it that looks very much like a Necron gun.

And to help you out :

Yeah, ctan_overlord has it right.

This one has an insectoid head, Tyranids don't have insectoid heads.
I expect a mix of these:
