Compare the legs of a tomb spyder and the leg blades with this pic. VERY similar in shape and design. =/ now to wait for the announcement.

Nice, wonder how big it is. Maybe it's the new necron scrabs. Kinda like how they do their own ripper swarms or maybe Titan size. Who knows? I just can't wait. If it is a Titan size model, then I found what I want for Xmas.

BTW, those mechanical arthropods were Daemon machines up to now.
But perhaps the designers had watched the Transformer movie (desert scene) before getting drunk and designing this

lol, people refuse to believe that GW/ FW could actually devote their time to something non-Marine, especially a Necron model, so much that they're calling "fake!"

He said no such thing. What he did say is that IF stickmonkey is right about the Necron release date, then the models should be done already. He's making a supposition, not a claim about models and release dates.

Well no matter to what faction it belongs, I am intrigued. Hopefully the Crons get some more love, they need it.
That army has so much potential to be a money maker. Easy to paint, not too many models, looks cool, cool back story. All they need are some decent rules and Crons will be a big seller.

If Grey Knights are in January, then the next 40k release would be March/April. So six months before then should lock up the release. Until then, things can and do change I believe.

Just because you say it is does not make it so. This could be a picture of what *really* was The Stig (Ben collins was just a ruse)
Admittedly the bigger pic does make it seem a lot more mechanical than it would first seem.

This method of a Necron update is very inline with the fluff. From out of nowhere, a blurry, mysterious picture of what is.. is.. something scary but we can't tell what.
Anyways, as far as I can tell (not that far) I like the centipede look for a Necron.

It looks almost like they may be going for more of a Matrix - Cyberpunk Machine Vibe to me.
The antennae, the insectoid body, the whole harvesting of humans bit.
It makes sense, its a bit more of a modern theme to rip off as opposed to the Egyptian-y knock off.
Or it may be the Loch Ness Monster

Perhaps they mean bio-mechanical rather than organic? And not in the ad-mech-cyborg-biomechanical, the "living machine" type biomech of Giger, etc.

I like the aesthetic that Necrons have no - hard angles, defined simplistic lines, not a lot of flash or fancy additions - a efficient and cold visual style to match their cold and efficient nature. It makes things like Flayed Ones all the more creepy.

It's something Stickmonkey posted that apparently one of his sources told him about. it needs to be put in context though.
Much more "Immortal" theme, less "Terminator" (commentary: I took this to mean more organic based and asked, and was told "no, not organic, they will still be undying machines")
Immortal seemingly referring to the movie with the same name.
That was back in January though.
