JB: I like the concept of a free Shrike roaming through the treetops of the jungle. I'm not sure that I like the idea of a real Shrike sitting on my couch eating my Skittles.

Well my ork nob's built and ready to be re-painted. Not the biggest nob, in fact, about the same height as a regular boy, and less muscular, but you can tell after looking at him that he's something better than a regular footslogger.
Here's my backstory for him (so far):
Originally from the Goff clan, became a freebooter after being kicked out for killing his warboss after "laffin' at me". Joined waagh! Dakka in it's mid stages leading up to the big battles, and has led a 14-strong mob ever since. He makes up for his small size by being a sly, cunning little ork, but rejected an offer as a kommando after being "bored at da quiet bits". He is accompanied by his grot runner, who does everything from serving him drinks to serving him ammo.

I'm wanting to get in on some of this Cybork Gretchin action. My current though is to have one cybork gretchin with a grot blasta built into his chest or attached to his shoulder standing in a 'menacing' pose with a second gretchin behind him actually aiming and firing. Is that kosher, or would having two gretchin on one base be too much?

I'm sorry but I just don't understand your post. Latest we've heard from you, you were supposed to be a "Bad Moon Wierd Boy assistant with a custom burna" (see quote above).
And the latest list version - before you posted yours - doesn't show you as the Nob of a Shoota Boyz unit at all.
So for me you'd be something like :

I think you should first check with either Whalemusic360, Gitsplitta or inmygravenimage, but I don't see why it it could pose a problem... If you have a schizophrenik nature / doppleganger syndrom !

@Yggdrasil - Yeah I wanted to do a Wierdo boy assistant but no one wanted an assistant so I would have ended up painting him never to be used.
I have 5 orks from AOBR and a NOB so I thought I would create a NOB for one of the Troop Choices that had not been done. I chose the Shoota Boyz - Footslogga's as my own, so I have started to put together the NOB when I checked the Colour scheme again with the Article "Son of Russ" has claimed this mob and yet the Master List which we are using in this thread is both inaccurate and unfit for purpose. This could lead to duplicity of effort, and needless problems. I have PM him to find out his intentions, and will update the list on this thread.

Actually if you read yakface's post above, he did point you towards Malfred, Prophet of the Waaagh, that could use an assistant...
Also, yakface's guidelines state that only DCMs can be Nobs... So even if a slot was free, you still couldn't become a Nob for that mob. But feel free to PM Sonofruss, I'm sure he'd like some shamanik boy in his mob ! That would fit with the Spehss Wolfz theme he's going for !
But I agree with you that the "updated list" is quite confusing. The statement "Mob currently available on Waaagh Dakka" doesn't say that the slot is free, it says that this mob has already been created, and is still waiting for people to join it !
@ yakface : maybe we should have all the names of the mobs in that list, as it seems to confuse a lot of people...

Here are some primed WIP's of my Ammo Runt\Grot Tanks for Da Boss. I have actually come quite a bit further on this, I've got it basecoated in grey and did an airbrush camo pattern on it in light grey. I'll take some more pics tomorrow, I hope. I know I haven't been moving very fast on this, and I assure you it's not for lack of interest, but I'm getting killed at work. This is my second 60+ hour week in a row and I'm walking out the door in a few minutes to work on my day off for the second day in a row. The good news is they hired a new guy who starts on monday so I should be done soon.
