That grot is actually the guy who does all of the Konvertaz web updates and all... "whalemusic360" is just a manufactured pseudonym because he knows that as a grot... he can't start his own mob!

SO... I've got a few wip pics of my grot on his helpa platform.





Still pretty wip, but the base is almost done. Mostly it just needs wires. Then it's on to converting the grot. He won't get too much though.

What do you think?

Oh-yea! and there's a tool box I made a while ago that will hang from that hook.

It's meant to be a sort of scaffold for the grot to reach and work on the top of a kan. I'm toying with the idea of a lifter arm or crane of sorts to help get the heavy bitz up there.

That's seriously cool...

It has already been established (by Fatty) that the grot itself doesn't need to be personally cybered to fit the mob perfectly. I love the outside-the-box approach and the build is looking great!

The white gear thing is part of a toy car motor. It came from the same "engine block" that the black platform came from. I picked up a sack of the little plastic cars a while back and ripped all the engines apart. The cars themselves will be fun to convert as well.

Ok, time to let the cat out of the bag. Your fearless (if we have mob rule) leaders have decided that we would like to reward those in our mob.

So, for every 11 members that finish up their respective entry, we will do a random drawing. The winners of the drawings will recieve......*drum roll* a 1 year DCM membership and a set of 6 Dakka Dakka Dice, normally reserved for DCMs and official Dakka functions! Remember, we will be doing this 3 times, so if you miss the 1st one, you will be included in 1 drawing, without a doubt.

Since I didnt go with the laptop idea I went back the drawing board, I was working on a gretchin with an oversized power claw that he had to drag behind him. I didnt have the parts to make it work the way I wanted it so I moved passed the idea and have decided to do this



Need more ork stuff on the pack and I think goggles and a face bandana plus I still need to cyber him up. Possible a foot or leg from a necron cut to size.
