It'll basically be "KGB agent kills tons of people". Her backstory isn't exactly exciting or movie worthy.

I have a feeling they are going to push Cap and Black Widow into a relationship, though whether it is just flirtatious or they actually try and date is hard to say. Since this isn't the comics, and her character is different enough from the comics, I am fine with that. It could also set up a nice betrayal down the road. I think most of the non-capes will get huddled under the Cap/SHIELD umbrella.

I liked the aesthetic of the Dark Elves, both in the shape as well as the hybrid of monster/machine. It was good to see Heimdall get a little more action this time. Tom Hiddleston's Loki has become one of cinemas great villians, I think.

Absolutely loved Thor 2, as I noted on facebook I think the Thor series just leap frogged over the Iron Man movies for me.



Hoping for good things for Cap 2, and I really liked the first one as well.

Also happy to see other alternative routes for new Marvel characters making their way into TV/film, with the new Netflix deal for Cage, Power Woman, Daredevil and Iron Fist shows.

I know nothing bout Guardians of the Galaxy, but whole Collector scene looked a helluva lot like that Antiquarian guy from Dragon Age 2.

The 9 realms are physical planets. Notice how Mjolnir kept changing directions as Thor kept warping to other places? It was trying to get back to him.

The fact that Mjolnir was in space/orbit during one of the direction shifts proves that's not the case.

Maybe, maybe not. You cannot fly to them quite like planets in the comics. The portals were open, and it could have flown through them to Thor (note two planes fly through them and pop back out at one point).

So you cannot say they are actually other planets. Because if they were, Mjolnir could have just flown through the open portals like the two fighter jets and gotten to Thor.

The portals weren't set, and only randomly existed because of the Convergence, where the layers of reality between all the realms were fuzzy. Mjolnir may have been heading to a more common way to the realm, or the rainbow bridge, or just confused. I imagine the different realms are a combination of dimensional existence and physical placeholder. In places where the realms are closest to each other there is a planet that is sort of an echo, or connection between the different realms. There is a planet for Hel, but there is more to the realm then just the planet. It all breaks down the more you try to make it real, since it is part fantasy, part sci-fi, and built on the rule of cool, generally.
