Latter is a wee bit old but in case you missed it.

Rumour is of 2 post credit scenes in/for Thor ... with at least 1 being Guardians of the Galaxy related.

Recently revealed that Ben Kingsley is/has reprised his role from Iron Man 3 for " something" as well.

Guess that' ll be a short or something ..?

That aircraft career seems to have some major issues, since it has gone down twice in two movies (I'm just assuming its more or less the same one as the avengers).

I thought that Cap was the best of the original run (only slightly, Iron Man 1 and Thor were also cool- Not such a fan of the Hulk) and this looks to be no different. The Falcon redesign looks epic, as does Winter Soldier, and I like the new cap suit.

Awesome sidekicks, helicarrier exploding, Nick Fury... This is gonna be good...

Ps. @Motyak: You'd be surprised how often Helicarriers go down in the comics, it's kind of supervillan right of passage. A fair few good guys have also had a try...

What I loved of cpatain america was the WWII aesthetic. I know this one wont have that, But I can hopee it is still good. Can anyone glean any plot from that though?

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

What I'm hoping is that although it does away with the WW2 look, it seems to be keeping the grittyness, which contrasts awesomely well with the high-tech looks of Iron Man and the overt Sci-Fi of Thor. So as long as they keep that style, it should be just as good (in other words, CA is the closest Marvel/Disney will come to emulating the Dark Knight style).

As for plot, I kind of know what's going on from the comics, but I can see how someone who hasn't read them might not know where this is headed. I won't post it here for those that don't want to know, then google Winter Soldier and you'll get the idea (warning, it will be a shock if you don't know already). It certainly promises to be interesting as long as they stick fairly close to the comics.

As for the specific plot of the film, you're right, there's not much to see. Hopefully that'll become more obvious in the second trailer, as this one is just stuff exploding. Fun.

The grittyness is cool. But i know the winter soldier specifics(Who he is) But I want to know how they changed it. Because they changed the extremis plot alot for Iron man 3

Really looking forward to these. Marvel movies were occasionally good before, but lately they've been nailing them left and right. Looks like the trend might be continuing.

I really hope they've pretty much kept it how it is comic-wise (possibly taking out the Russian connection due to context) as I still haven't forgiven them for IM3 (terrible plot, ruined a great villain, even Downey Jr was poorer than previously). The closer they stick to the comics, the better really. No need to change stuff just for the sake of it.

Since it's being mentioned, I thought Amazing Spiderman was also good, and way better than the previous cringe-inducing trilogy. It is a good example of how you can keep the core concepts of the comics and still make a well-paced and entertaining film, rather than the butchery they (admittedly a different film company) made of Iron Man. Then again, I can't blame the failure of IM3 purely on not sticking to established plots, as First Class didn't exactly fit comic continuity but was still great. There's not really an excuse for Iron Man 3...

I agree, I liked IM3, however the way they treated one of the absolute Icons of IM rivals bugged me quite a bit.... If the rumor in the OP is true, I can only hope that having "The Mandarin" arrested awakens the 'real' Mandarin

He's what ruined that film for me. The single worst thing in that film was Red Skull, and it was played horribly.

This looks tons better though.

I personally didn't mind Red Skull. I wish he had more of a scheme that 'blow up everything because he can', but I had no complaints about Weavings acting. Wish they found a way to get more Hayley Atwell into a Marvel movie though.

Wasnt his plan actually to blow up capitols to distabilize the world so with his advanced tech he could take it over easily?

He wanted to blow up a few to show that his tech was superior, and that he could strike anywhere at anytime.

I'm wondering if in this universe Winter Soldier will be an agent of Hydra, and this will be how they bring Hydra in the modern world.

If they follow the comics, sure, but it wouldn't be the first time they changed some elements to fit the larger narrative.
