In the video, in that they talk about them. (Which kinda means one day, wink)
Correct?
I love the AdMech releases.
I hated the flyer, but... flamethrower faced attack horses are just so redicilously stupid that I cant stop giggling about it!

Oh ...
The more I look at them, the more I dislike them. The horse version are nice models, but they just don’t fit any of the already established aesthetics of Ad Mech. Make your mind up GW. Do Ad Mech make weird legged vehicles, WW2 inspired hovercraft, ornithopters or do they ride cybernetic animals? It’s just become an absolute mess of unconnected ideas.
Next release ... a tech priest jumping over a cybershark!
I mean, it's so unrealistic. Just look at any real army in ww2! Wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, vehicles with tracks and wheels, what's even up with that! Horses, bicycles, planes and some silly helicopters at the very end of it...complete mish-mash.
I for one now bow down to the new greenest meanest Big boy on the Block, makari, for he is the greenskin i trust in

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?" GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!" Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

What established aesthetics?

That’s a fair point.
I suppose I’m more upset that FW did such a fantastic job of establishing the look of the 30k Mechanicum ... then GW totally abandoned it for hovercraft and flamethrower faced dogs. I think if any faction should look pretty much the same as they did in 30k, it’d be the one that thinks machine forms are dictated by their god and that innovation is heresy.

Mechanicus stuff is awesome, and I don`t find it too ridiculous for warhammer. The jump infantry is the thing of dreams, if only some wings were not just flat out spread.
My favourite new release still has to go to the Nurgle warband. It`s just too good. Makes me want to convert all kinds of crazy things for dark AoS28 or Mordheim.
Aelves look very good, I`m pleasently surprised. A major win, especialy next to Deepkin. Dare I say, they look much better, than their predecessors. HElves out of all WFB armies. were probably on the bottom in terms of aesthetics for me.Teclis himself- meh. I think both - the mount and the demigod would benefit from being separate models, but that`s easily done.
Zoat - I have no nostalgia for these guys, but I`d like to get him if I ever do get to Black Fortress, which is unlikely, sadly.
I hope there are more announcements on the way, for necromunda, ATitanicus and please god..Warhammer Old World. At least some art and info.

They are really going ham on the whole Dune / Steampunk western look they have going for Ad Mech. I like it.
Lizardmen are finally getting some love, which is nice.
The new High Elves look nice too, they have a hoplite thing going on and they don't look too ridiculous. Teclis looks silly though. The posing looks off. Its like he's trying really hard to be Solaire, and the Sphinx is like "That's nice dear"
The new Zoat looks beastly.
Oh, and Ghazgull is back. That's cool I guess.

Westwood lives in death!
Peace through power!
A longbeard when it comes to Necrons and WHFB. Grumble Grumble
Looks like constant emails regarding the complete ignoring of FW stuff paid off. Maybe. I dunno.
Zoat was quite a throwback. Updated lizardmen is one reason for me to eventually get into Sigmar besides the Bonereapers which, despite the bling, look really amazing.

I actually think the dog Calvary is okay. Maybe just a couple more pictures to really get the whole story about them. Those jump dudes are great though.

After I had read the news from community page, the next moment was to look for valrak's video about his excitement of the new ghazghkull XD.
I was absolutely suprised about admech stuff, I think that they have a good theme with steampunk things. Ooh, I cant wait, and my wallet is already bleeding in binaric code..

I suppose my frustration with Ad Mech is that I want to like them more than I do. The problem I have is that they have got several good themes but don’t settle on one. So you have a good theme if you ignore some units.
The hover tanks have a great, early 20th century, World War theme.
The walkers, vanguard and new cavalry have a great steampunk theme.
The robots have a great 1960’s vibe (“Danger, Magos Robinson!”)
I think it’d all work better if the tanks had looked more 19th century steampunk than 1940s and the robots had had a more steampunk automata vibe.
Having said that, in the space of a couple of hours, I’ve gone from absolutely hating the new cavalry, to it actually starting to grow on me.
Agreed about the theme being all over the place. Not set on the riders or the winged guys, sadly. They don't seem to fit as well as the previous Ad. Mech stuff, hovertanks excluded.
If I need to use them in a game, I'll have to look at kitbashing something which fits in better with what I am going for at the moment. Perhaps flying drone things instead of the dude with wings, and some kind of creepy crawly stand in for the horses.
Orks have been my main guys since 1991, but I absolutely do not care about New Ghaz. As far as I'm concerned, he's Andy Chambers' warboss, and I'd much rather have a kit allowing me to build my own guy.
Love the AdMech Space Ponies. Not so keen on the Flappy Guys.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh and those new Nurgle lads are sick as well.

GW often uses a "big character spalsh HQ" model like this as the centerpiece of a beefy release. the deamon primarchs and abaddon for example, (not always as Space Marines didn't get a big release with Calgar) so hopefully this is a sign that Orks are going to get the "CSM treatment" of their old major character is replaced, combined with reworks of the classic "core kits"
Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Yeah, some armies just dont always fit into peoples own schemes. For example, i'll be avoiding corpuscarii units (I just dont like them, rules wise or fluff-wise), and I would be intrested about collecting necrons, but their recent models just are not for me.
Back on the topic though, are there more reveals coming this weekend from the lvo?
I very much like the pointy elves. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest looks like.
I'd like Teclis more if he were riding the creature. It's an awkward position and it makes it difficult to transport. It's certainly possible to convert it but it's going to need greenstuff to fix the divot in the wing for the attachment point.
The new Nurgle set for underworlds is an instant buy as a core base for a Warcry warband.
I don't play AdMech but those models look good. Likewise I don't play BSF but the Zoat is a great model.
Love the elves (including Teclis). Eltharion looks awesome, but if they didnt tell me I would never have guessed who it was (and I have both the classic griffon version and the "blind swordsman" version).
Now the ad-mech. Wow, they really look horrible. Who the heck asked for mecha cavalry skitarii? No one. And the battlefield role of light infiltrators is terrible in most games and already covered by the ruststalkers anyway. Im Shocked so many people giving this the thumbs up,.
Sorry to be so negative, nothing personal, Im just shook up by the Ad-mech.
