Gah, updating title page too much

its been a joy ride though!

Though I've kinda noticed that the last two stretch updates had two stretch goals each. One for biohazard and one for the extra stuff. Wonder if that trend will continue

@Kenshin

I hope it does. I think it's pretty brilliant. They feed off each other as new peope who pledge for the biohazard for extra free stuff help get the new non-biohazard bonus while the buyable add-ons also fund the new free stuff for the new biohazard users. Pretty damned brilliant actually.

Those are optional purchases. The next stretch goal is Riddick.

...and now they give the biohazard buyers a character (enticing them, perhaps, to buy more?) and put up some repeat models as paid extras. Smart!
God my wallet is hurting after Mantic's kickstarter, but I might just jump in on biohazard (and some extras?) as well

I heard someone mention perhaps being able to pay for the extras a month later via some pledge manager on zombicide? what happened there and do we know/suspect if they'll do that again?

I could already see Nathan Fillion ordering this for a model of himself. He has that sense of humore from what I understand.

And oh hell yes on the not Riddick. I'm in for we've got movement so it looks like I'm getting 2!

How did the pledge manager for zombiecide work?

Do you just pay the pledge you want first and pay for extras later? Because that would be awesome and I would drop back down to 100 to save me some money for lunch for the next week.

Hmmm... $25 for tiles and $10 each for 6 more mini-drones and 6 more crabs totals $45.
Another $45 more gets you another Biohazard box with all of the Biohazard upgrades, including the extra cost tile set and six each of mini-drones and crabs.
That second $45 gets you 32 more minis...

Cast in Awesomeness

Riddick would be great but I can't complain about not aliens minis, by the contrary.

It's really too dorky to hope for Necromongers, isn't it?

It's like McVey has a secret machine designed to seek out my wallet...

I'm honestly not sure what would top all this... a not-Kerrigan maybe? (What can I say, I'm a sucker for a chitinous lady...)

Then again, all the extras are really adding up, heh. I took a look at it, and even just getting the extra figures (and I planned to get more), at Biohazard we're talking $160. Then there is the tile pack, the terrain pack... decisions, decisions....

You pledge a certain amount (say $110). Then, you select what tier of pledge you qualify for ($110 qualifies you for the popular Biohazard tier). After the Kickstarter campaign is over, they'll send around a survey that'll ask you what you want to spend your extra pledged money on.

AFAIK, there is no indication that you'll be allowed to buy the optionals after the Kickstarter ends.

Well the Firefly crew seems to be the first extra figures I will be getting, I was never a fan of Alien or BSG, but I can't resist Firefly...

and apparently a lot of other people like it to, $46k was pledged today according to kicktrack (I was away all day and it was a pleasant surprise to find the drones and crabs in the game and the Firefly crew with the stretch goal completed)

Now I just have to decide on the terrain set...

But really, $50k? Do they want to slow everything down after having one of their best days? Guess they have a sense of humor.

It’s made nearly 10k in the past 4 hours... I wouldn’t say they’re slowing down yet.

Still lots of time to run off the steam they are building, all the extras will probably bring in some more pledges.

50k is reasonable for a completely free model for all biohazard+ backers (2578 models at present). That's a lot of free individual models to give.

I'm not seeing much of a drop off in the speed of the kickstarter. With Riddick added the biohazard comes with 94 models without any of the add-ons. That's going to bring in some backers. Riddick and the "Calamity" crew are pretty close to Ash/Chuck Norris on Zombicide.

I've been trying to get some info from the game designers about the size of the brain bugs and mini-drones but so far no luck

I always thought the "Brainbugs" would be sized such that their 'head' is the size of a Human head. Essentially the whole unit would be the size of a 28mm-scale average-sized dog.

Plus, they're essentially homages to Facehuggers and Headcrabs (which are Facehugger homages), and I'd expect them to be that sized.

They can't be too big with the $10-for-6 deal.

I figured not but I've got a couple of ideas for what I'd like them to count-as if I pick up a few more bonus ones

I'm already in for $270 (We've Got Movement, 2x"Calamity Crew, 1xall other characters) and I'm closing out at $300 max so unless they release another pay for model I'll probably be adding either the terrain or additional drones/face huggers
