Those Thunderhawks and Vampires look shortened, as if we're hitting the edge of what works for the game (I'm sorry, Manta, it's bad news).

Wonder how my old AI Thunderhawk measures up.

Only if you associate fedoras with MRA types.

Some of us still associate them with gangsters in the 20's.

You clearly haven't attended a community College in the last decade. I have, and lemme tell you that they exist in far greater number than preferred.

I haven't seen any vampires - the eldar have received nightwings and phoenix bombers though, which look like tiny versions of the 40k scale models.

I am looking forward to them releasing a Vampire for AI though, as it's the eldar equivalent of a thunderhawk.

Today was a cool day compared to the first 40k day, lots of stuff has surprised me and I'm a little hyped about pretty much everything previewed today. I hope we'll see a 30k release on the mystery day.

One thing to note was the absolute spam in the chat about Cursed City. I'm not a fanboy by any means, but at least recognise the community team aren't the ones handling that fiasco.

Then again community team IS the one that screwed up by saying it wasn't limited when from the go it was

That would have similar issue as warmaster titan above. Expensive as hell kit for model that has zero usability in game. It would depend on those who pay couple hundred for model to just sit on shelves.

Cool for some, yes. But for tons of people not something they would ever bother with.

Part of me also thinks that if the reveal were related to any of the games shown so far, they would have revealed them during their specific reveal day. That, to me at least, says that Saturday is something completely new (ie. not a 40K Codex, an AoS release, a new Underworlds thing, etc.) but something that doesn't fit into any of those things.

So a completely new game (which could be LOTR or even a full reveal of Old World), Warhammer Animation/TV stuff, or both.

Fish elves are great. In fact, I think that faction in aos would have been ace if it wasn't for the swimming cavalry.

Delaque is awful, like most of the second wave of release for the game unfortunately. Look less and less like what necromunda should be imo.

I think the mystery day is going to be things like animations and games and other licensed property. Nothing with little plastic models at least.

It has probably been said already, but Creative Assembly are relasing gameplay footage for Total War Warhammer 3 this week-end, Saturday could be a joint effort to promote the game and the Old World. I don't think GW will show minis (don't even think there are any ready yet), but maybe they will show some more concept art and announce they will start releasing stuff for the Old World next year?

I'm just going to throw out an idle thought I just had for Saturday. Not a new system or updated edition or anything. 40k scale Warmaster titan.

I really, really doubt it. It would be at least £1500 (at the very very least) and would have such a small target market relative to anything else that even GW must realise having that as their super secret Saturday reveal is going to disappoint a lot of people. ‘Oh it’s a huge resin model I’ll never be able to afford or play with’

The Warmaster is my wishlist item for Saturday, but I think it's pretty unlikely, though I do think it's going to come eventually. The model has certainly been designed at 28mm scale, the same as the Warlord it has sockets for pistons that join the arms to the body (above and to the left and right of the side doors), but the pistons themselves do not exist on the AT model only on the 28mm version (in the case of the Warlord). If they do reveal it I would just expect a tease TBH alongside the announcement of something else, because as you say, as cool as it is, the Warmaster would have a limited market, I'm budgeting £2000-£2500 for it. The Warlord is already edging closer to £1400 due to the prices rises since release.

As for the Delaques, I do like them, but now with creepy kids and floating squids, they're really doing nothing to dispel the "Dark City" vibe that the new design has (I'm sure it must be intentional).

Out of interest, where?

I’ve note seen anything suggesting such, particularly on the tv/film forums that keep up on upcoming projects and what projects people are signing on to etc.
I mean,I’d love it to be right..

There was an apparent leak that I first saw posted to the grand alliance AoS forum, but I’m increasingly less convinced there’s any veracity to it.

I'll be in the 'disappointed' camp if Saturday is animations and/or 40k-scale Warmaster.

I'm hoping for the next Specialist Game. Or what is happening with The Old World.

Yeah, if it is true, it’s a pretty great cast. And it would be nice to know the series is still a real thing that’s actually happening. I think I’d be disappointed if that was the Saturday reveal though.

It’s still actually happening. It’s all Spotnitz is working towards now, other projects have completed.

But yeah I don’t see where the cast news is coming from aside from wishlisting.

Also, too many big names for an untested area.
Two bigger names at most would be believable. Not the whole cast, that looks more like a mid level movie line up.

All the support cast will be B/C list actors, or unknowns even (by that, they might be the types that have done 1 episode in many shows. Not unknown as in never acted).

Slim outside chance as Spotnitz has pull, but just seems unlikely. Even forgetting the ridiculous seeming account the info is coming from..

That picture(and rest) is photoshopped fake taken from another context. Not real. that twitter account is just doing cheap and not well executed trolling

Also again: why would gw bother all secrecy and mystery for couple tidbits for already announced product..that would be something for 40k reveals aka tuesday or today.

Also, at least two of the cast there have slim gaps in their schedules.
So it’s either multiple years off, or they’re dropping their projects in favour of this..?

I feel like they’d be pushing for 2022 release with the time they’ve been working on it.

I’d be expecting a Paul Blackthorne type for Eisenhorn.
But look at all other shows, particularly in fringe genres. You don’t get that massive named cast list aside from Marvel or something.

I've also seen fake announcements of primaris crabs.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I don't get why so many people want plastic Thunderhawks, it feels like a meme now, like people shouting "SLAYEEER" at every metal concert that isn't Slayer.

They'd be comically large, occupy a sixth of the board, cost 800 pts and would do what ? Allow you to fly 200 pts across the table ?

Really I don't understand the hype.
