Nice Shaltari model! How did you get the pattern on the yellow to show up... is that just a wash (if so, with what) or something trickier? Looks great

Hi RiTides its nice and easy, from a white undercoat wash with GW Lamenters Yellow and then a watered down wash of GW Bloodletter.

Cheers Dr H glad you like the squad, just need another 5 and I'll have a complete unit.

I did some work on a test model for my Eldar Biel Tan today, haven't finished it yet but I thought I'd include a WIP of him so far.

On the basing side its going to be lots of Mud along the lines of the Death Korps. I want it to look like the army is deep within enemy (Guard) lines. Need to pick up some barbed wire to add to their bases and tank parts.

Cheers Graven going on the Biel Tan scheme, their Aspects are coloured the same as their guardians which will make it nice and confusing The starship was done in the same colours as per the box art.

I need to get the Codex and work out a force before I pick up any more models

Currently unsure if to gloss just the jems by themselves or the green armour as well to make them look a bit different.

Interesting use of blue on the white, I assume to give it a "cold" look.

It was more to add a splash of colour to the white, i didnt want to go down the standard low lighting in grey.

Cheers mate, I have a feeling this could be my next project as I have quite a few eldar models now. The Exorcists may have to take a step back for the xenos scum

I built the first part of my Kill team today the Grey Hunters, it was well too hot for painting.

So we have in reverse order.

Mr Depressed

Mr Furry Pants, I didn't realise until I glued the body onto the legs that he had a furry groin cloth, also a fury shoulder pad as well

Quick update today as I didnt get a chance to do any painting on the kill team.

I finished the Fire Dragon though yesterday, I think he came out quite well you can now tell he's a Fire Dragon as well. I think I'm going to paint the other Aspects weapons in the same way showing their aspect colours as highlights.

Onto the kill team, I've assembled the next two members.

Grimlock the Hammer

and 157-124-2458642-H

3 more members to go, one awaiting a weapon which Graven is helpfully trying to source for me and the last two have to wait to pay day.

Hopefully I'll be giving them a tickle with my paintbrush tomorrow, but I doubt I'll get any finished you might have to wait to the weekend for that.

I really like the paint scheme you're going for with the kill team in the back ground. Then again, I'm rather partial to black and blue.

Thanks for all the comments

Its been a bit of a strange week, I dont know where the time has gone really.

The update today is the miniatures I finished last weekend thats how far behind I am at the moment

The Grey Hunters part of my Kill team is finished

I'm now about 80% of the way through the Iron Priest, I'm not going to promise to finish him this weekend but If all goes well I'll post a WIP shot tomorrow.

The servitors are now completed model wise, thanks to Graven for the heavy plasma gun , I undercoated them just now so they are ready after the Iron Priest and my dags are on order so should arrive next week.

I'm going to blame my missing week on some Xbox games I won on ebay nice and cheap

Well a second update in two days to make up for missing last weekend

The Iron Priest is finished and he came out nice and rusty, I think the blue stands out really well on him actually

Something Graven asked for ages ago was a better pic of the Heldetta. Well I was taking pics of all my Nurgle stuff including the Heldetta to put up on ebay today to make room for more little men and the money to afford them so heres the pic I uploaded.
