From the pic, it looks like the venom is a Raider run up the arse end of a Vyper. That's a quick conversion.

The Webway portal "model" is funny, but if it's Vortex grenade, then it's only 3" diameter, not 5" diameter?
In the old codex the Webway portal rules used the small blast template. IIRC that's 3", so it wouldn't have changed.
So does that mean that only small, man-sized models will be able to use it, or will very big models like Talos & Raiders be able to use it also?

Those look like Incubi on the back of it.
And the Talos does look like a warped Slaaneshi-vibed Wraithlord. Good call, whoever mentioned that.
The Scourges, however, I think are my favorite. They look pretty badass.

I like the art pix. Good stuff. Definitely think Drahzar deserves a new mini to match the art.
Decapitator is cool. And more Mandrakes! A unit will look awesome on the table!
I was looking at my Drazhar mini and I had never noticed the horns he has. One up, one down.
I had only noticed the one side and assumed they were symmetrical.
Not like the new art with the antler/horn/vine twisty things.
I do like the art they put on the WWP. Gives the "Dark City shimmering through water" look well.
If I didn't have a Vortex Template, I might buy one.

New talos looks drastically different. I'd expect a new model (hopefully a kit) or something in the next couple months. It might be a random update too. Sort of like the new leman russ or something like that.

Venom seems to serve no purpose other than to placate harlequins fans.. It carries half the models and has worse weapons than the raider for 5 points less oh and has less weapon options.
The only thing good about it is that it gets a 5+ invul save that can raider can buy also.. 5 model transport is a bit silly when the transport is overcosted

The Venom costs less points and can carry the minimum Archon plus "retinue" unit or 5 Incubi with handflamers

Mixed feelings all over for these new pics.
My gripe with the new Ravager is the same gripe I had with the old one: It's too large. It's a vehicle with a 4-man crew, yet it's the size of a transport for 10? It could be half as long and still serve its function convincingly.
Scourges look as I feared they might. Feathers just were not the way they should have gone. Bat wings would be more consistent with the nocturnal feel of the army. And what's with the bird feet and long, craned neck? I like the helmet, but feathers?... Come on...
Talos is awesome.
Mandrakes are awesome. As is the Mandrake Champion. I will field lots of these.
As always, I won't pass my final judgment until I've seen models. But so far, I like the new look. I anticipated being unhappy with some of the new designs, so it's not that big of a deal.
Edit: Anybody know if the Decapitator kept his insta-kill, 'chance to decapitate' rule???

Art is really fine.
But for some reason I was expecting the Scourges to have bat wings, as that is what seems to fit the dark kin. Feathered wings look a bit off and out of place in them even if they´re dyed black and covered in blood. But the bird masks are interesting.

Just like pigeon holing horns to be a representation of Chaos, I think it's just as wrong to assume bat wings are more a representation of evil. Especially since culturally, things like crows and vultures have always filled the evil avian motif. Again, it's perfectly fine if you don't like them. I just don't see a problem w/ dark avian representations for the Scourges.

I dont mean to imply that bat wings are more or less "evil", they (for me) just works better on the spikey and organic DE than feathers, which are too reminiscent of the swooping Hawks. Since the niche of bird-like eldar warriors is already covered by the latter I expected something which evokes another mythological classic figure like dragons or harpies. But still, they are ok for me.
Crafworld eldar and Dark eldar are not Good vs Evil but more rather Spiritual vs materialistic.

Normally I'd agree, but in the art the wings are patchy with mechanical bits poking through here and there, dirtied enough to make it clear for me at least, that these ain't no angels. Not the kind that live upstairs anyhow

I heard that the Scourges are actually Hæmonculi creations-- hence their weird, pseudo-mutated appearance.
