Oh wow Vik! It came off because there was no primer for it to stick too! I'm glad you could save it though..looks fantastic! Was the red paint you got latex?

Nope, just thicker acrylic paint, the likes you get in any home depot...and to be fair, the metal color stuck like anything...

good to see the rivets are still making the presence felt.. the latest saucer tank is proper barmy .. and quite the inspiration it reminds me of something by ian miller. I think when i have a free month i will need to check over what I have missed.

Vik, if you go all red add black accents, and then some wear spots showing off the metallics, like where boots have scraped at ladder rungs, where paint chipped off door edges, etc. worn off rivets, add rust flow make it look like it has seen action!

Absolutely Fabulous Vik! Great..REALLY great color choices there, the red and meatls are great, but with the gold League logos and coats d'Arms- it's a nice neat package!

Thank you sir, I had started to make all barrels bronze, but that wasn't working out as planned, a red metal color simply doesn't show up against that rich deep red. And since the gunmetal color the brass/gold was my only option...

The red and dark metal look great together , not sure if I like his more than the grot jet or not, but this is one of your best builds I can recall.

I go o orientation on Saturday. Haven't gotten my schedule after that yet. The bug is gone, just was tired a couple days, and. Little tummy virus, but alls good now.

I may have to start drawing up some skaven designs
Skaven have a very steampunk look to their tech as it is.

Major issue i have at the moment is i play clan skyre (tech skaven)
2 units that feature very highly in the army are also very stupidly priced.
Poisoned wind globadiers - Single model on a 20mm base - £8.50 each
Skaven jezzail team - 2 finecast models on a 20mm x 50xx base - £11 each

I need to find a cheaper way of making these since i need 20 jezzails and 30 globadiers lol.
If not, im looking at £475 for 50 models that make 4 units.

In both units is a lot of scratch building potential...
I had a look, the globadiers I would start with IG flamer parts.
The team...hmmm...I think the unit could be built quite differently than the Gw version and stll be true to the rules... A big blunderbus between two giant rats...lots ofppossibilities...
