Better, Im not a fan of the 2nd chain motor of the sword. It looks like 2 CSs put together rather then the one large one.

I'm still experimenting... it's a difficult joint to make look believable. Though in all honesty they should probably be two separate drive systems so if you get binding the whole sword doesn't shut down.

Get your logic outta here. Not sure what the solution is. Maybe make one of the swords shorter?

Should be easier with my Nob - pistons, other Orky worky bitz Hope to have a picture of my bitz selection for your Stormboy Nob up this evening. Already have a Rokkit Pack together, but you'll have to wait to see that... You guys haven't seen the meaning of slow progress yet!

Right, so Gitsplitta and I are exchanging Nobz - Gitsplitta is doing me a bug boy (Mantis Warrior) Nob in exchange for a Dark Angelz Stormboyz Nob. I needed some more pieces, which arrived Tuesday. Below is my very slow progress (I have 1000pts to paint for Silver Sorcerer!) - basically just pulling the pieces together that I plan to use. Yes - there is enough for two - the plan is that it is going to be so awesome I won't want to give him up - and now I won't have to - well, one of them anyway!



I'm hoping to keep the model in 4 pieces for painting prior to final assembly. You can probably work out three of the pieces from the above. The fourth is a surprise!

So far I've started putting one of the Rokkit Packs together and it is working out perfectly, but you will have to wait till next week for more pictures!

Screw it, I was waiting for someone to say something, but oh well.
I was planning on making a DA plasma cannon guy today. First cut the hooded head so the backpack could fit (note this is all post painting as I forgot to dry fit) then cut part of the chest so that the arm could reach. Then realised it didnt friggin fit so I pitched it in the trash. Was a waste of 4 hours of painting, so I asked Ramos if it was cool to use post GSing he was cool with it. Can anyone really tell out of curisoity?
