I ran out of adjectives for your work a long time ago. By this point I should not be amazed or stunned by anything you create, yet I always am. I've seen a lot of incredible terrain work on Dakka and elsewhere, but in all cases I find that I still rate those pieces against the work of the mighty Terraformer.

Really amazing work! I'm about to start a long term terrain project for my FLGS. Thanks for the great inspiration.

While it would be easy for me to reply with the expected "build a hanger with catwalks" type idea, but my mind doesn't work right. My first thought was a giant 4' x 6' engine room, covered with walkways, giant pipes and ramps, dominated by a vast, gothic machine with skulls and buttresses and flashing lights.

How would I make it? No idea but I would cackle like a madman as I work on it.

I was making a few pieces of terrain out of a old cardboard box yesterday. Now i have to burn it all and weep at how awful i am at the fine art of terrain.

Yeah I'll join you on that one. I still just have some MDF boards, to scared to do anything to them as I figure all I will do is make it worse. I can see what I want to do in my head (because it is based on the capital wasteland in fallout 3) but I have absolutely no idea how to transform real physical material into that dream. Or nightmare. Or whatever. At the moment, I take the fight to Flatworld - home to absolutely nothing :(

When I started doing all this, I made pieces inspired by locations in popular games, and I had this very grand idea to recreate all of Megaton city in 28mm scale. After spending some time working out the size of the project and materials needed I realized I would probably have to shelf the idea for a while. Anyone else want to pick up the challenge?

Megaton? Ouch, that would take me... well, at the rate I am going, around 600 years. I was thinking more 'wasteland', with something like Arefu on a broken highway bridge type thing. I'm still psyching myself up for it...

We're finishing up a large project that we've had on the books for a while now, a set of pieces with a slightly different theme than anything we've done so far, so I should have some interesting new material up by next week. As far as building replicas of our work, I don't mind at all as long as it's just for personal use and you don't also sneak in my house and fashion a human-skin mask from my face and pretend to be me.

(Also, send us pics when finished, we love getting pictures.)

Absolutely epic! Makes me inspired to try making some of my own. The world building is so fun, pure creativity. And your skill at this is superb.

Your work is amazing. I am very impressed with your urban terrain with the minute attention to detail. The little addatives of well placed rubbish and rashly posted fliers really adds to the realism. Great work.
