Gotta agree with the starbucks comment, their baristas never make the drinks right. Nordstroms E-bar, Peets Coffee, and whole foods are where I get my coffee fix.

the baristas aren't the ones at fault. making a coffee drink is like making an omlette: if you use rotten eggs, you'll make a rotten omlette. in other words, starbucks uses really crappy beans (some of which are literally rotten), and burns them in order to hide the flavor of the rotten ones.

if you're looking for coffee for a game, you can never do better than your FLCS (friendly local coffee shop). it's much better and usually cheaper than starbucks.

to find your coffee shop, try searching on urbanspoon.com.

you will, on rare occasions, find a local place that also uses bad beans. a good rule of thumb is to ask them where they get there coffee. If they don't know or don't tell you it's usually not a good sign

i-Eldar: there's an aspect for that.

No way, Ozzy! Well, beer and liquor!

I was positively skunked at the BSB yesterday, drank like 10 beers and a double shot of Patron. Hahaha, that was definitely overdoing it!

I know, I play Orcs, so I should be drinking hard liquor or energy drinks (or both mixed together), but I don't like energy drinks OR beer, plus I'm a minor. So I usually prefer water, or coffee, or some sorta hippy fruit juice drink.

(Did I just lose my Orc-hood?)

I like to drink the liquid shame of my opponent. Hahaha... I usually forget to grab a drink when I start a game. However, if I had to chose, I'd say a nice southern Sweeet Tea!

At home or at friends (when I don't have to drive) a cold bottle of Old Rascal, or full fat Coke at WHW. Cider and rolling dice makes me a happy puppy!

Starbucks is right next door to the game so that's where I stop at. Having little kids in my house it's more like a life line than a fix.

messy. I recommend beer for that. The tequila we had... evil. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.

I like monster, Coffee, Mt. Dew, and Beer, Best matches are with beer. We would have a limit of 2 per person, per game turn, when you would drink one during your turn and finish it, you could place it on the table as count as impassible terrain/wall. We didnt have the 2 limit at first, so some of the first games we would almost kill a 6 pack a turn. This did make us have less games per night, and waking up with models in the fridge, freezer, floor....

Why would you post to a thread that hasn't had a post in 2 years and eight months ?

Particularly as your first post ?
