OOOOOOOO something that works like a flamer, but instead of a cone of fire, it makes a cloud of plasma. It would be template like a flamer, but would be powerful enough to rape Terminators and light vehicles and hordes and tanks and, well, everything.
Or a plasma sword.
Or a plasma rifle (Tau)
Of them, only the plasma rifle is actual 40k, but the other things are "wh40k plausible"

I'd have to say either a sonic blaster or a plasma gun. I know they're very different, but nothing would be more satisfying than to either blast out someone's eardrums to death or forcing them to evaporate.
