It has been a bit quiet as we approach the halfway mark of this competition...

I finally got my first Finecast miniatures - Venomthropes to go in the back of a couple of my Trukks, Independence Day (the movie) style. Mockup below:

Half-way mark is where all the meks are thinking 'that's not right. Pull it apart and start again.' So that probably means a flurry of new stuff soon.

Mine's still in that nasty almost-done stage, need to try and kick-start some more p-work on that. Or just build some more

Liking the 'thropes in da back. Tarp will probably look better overall, it's tough to get a feel for it till you start pushing the tissue about a bit.

What's the finecast like to manipulate, tentacle wise?

Allmost have all my parts to start making my trukk how long do we have again?? (I'm trying to work out the arm joints for my trukks standing mode which has taken me a bit longer than I first through it would, thankfully boarding planks have given me my much needed answers).

Finally got some other stuff out of the way and so can come back to my Trukks. With only four months to go, that's less than a month for each of my Trukks!

How is everyone else's Trukks going? Or have you all stalled too?

Four months? Oh good gork I need to get things moving big style then. The trukk with paint on is having some of the colours re-thought, partly because it was a little too clashy, but mainly becuase I decided I really didn't want a looted ultra-smurf door

The ones being built are.....hmm, well, sem to be in exactly the same state as whenever I last showed something happening with them.

Well, here they are, the Long awaited (cough) update pics for my entry... just needs paint now. (and a little more card... maybe some rivets...)

the original passenger platform shattered after being dropped by TFG. and my Rules Lawyer brother commented that the gun placement, While orky, could be considered modeling for advantage. So i put the front end next to the front of my Kit trukk, and positioned the new Kuppola in about the same area as the gunner on the trukk.
