Mk.XVI ‘Damocles’ Armour, in use by the Ultramarines after the Dornian Heresy.

Dornian? when did that happen?

It's an alternate 'history' of the 40K history, where the legions loyal in the official universe rebelled (under Dorn) and those now heretic are the loyalists.
it's a fun story, but in NO way official.

edit: here, as on B&C:
This premier issue is devoted to chronicling something a little different; a twisted alternate timeline in which Warmaster Horus was able to cast off the daemonic influences that sought to possess him, and where the Ruinous Powers were instead forced to corrupt Rogal Dorn to overthrow the Emperor. The Dornian Heresy is the tale of an alternate universe where choices, sometimes large, sometimes small, have led to the familiar primarchs and legions meeting very different fates. For instance, how different might things have turned out if Sanguinius had instead been found and raised by the mutant tribes of Baal, or if Angron's first meeting with the Emperor had been as an honourable ally against the slavers at Fedan Mhor?

Well I was a bit foolish and bought an Enforcer on ebay today. I plan on ordering a few at Adepticon, but at least now I don't have to stand in line for a few hours just to make sure I get one that weekend. A few hours freed up at Adepticon is worth the crazy markup IMO.

Nah. Another foolish move. Honestly I didn't expect to want the LE model this year. Between my gf and I we bought 2 of each last year, and I ordered around 10 more. I have none of those left. I had just planned on doing an order sometime throughout the weekend and just waiting for them to ship them out. Then I saw the awesomeness that is the Enforcer model and...

I love when FW or even GW goes outside the norm. This Enforcer goes way outside IMO. I just couldn't wait. The markup I paid was about the price of the VIP ticket so it should all balance out in the end.

I’m with ph34r here. They don’t look like Retribution ‘Jacks at all to me. The first one especially looks like a modern retake of the old Space Crusade Chaos Dread, with some Brass Scorpion style layered armour.

The right one is the one I said looks like Scyrah aesthetics / style. Challenge: find me a faction in warhammer that suits that shape , style aesthetics better than Retribution of Scyrah

And I'm hoping the only reason why that concept wasn't used is because the plastic Chaos dreadnaught (when/if it ever comes) will be based off that design instead, lol.

As for your link, I have no idea what that is AND it looks nothing like the concepts.

As for your challenge... lol? The faction that suits the shape style and aethetics of the concepts is... dun dun dun.... chaos? Have you seen the Reaver, Blood Slaughterer, Brass Scorpion, old Dreadnought..? If the retribution of scryah look like anything, it's space elves.

If you plug that picture in GW Chaos army, vs Scyrah army, you would still think it fits Chaos more?

Alright alright lets end it at that.

Whew. Was a bit worried there. Looks kinda nice, probably get one (or wait and see if GW makes plastic version) to go along with my cestus assault rams.

I agree that they right one looks a little more fitting with Scyrah than chaos. But it is a concept picture, I'm sure the spikes and skulls will make it look a little less so.

And it appears I was correct about how it would go together - big long resin coverings on either sides, plastic wings, big extension to the read hull.
