Thats a possability.
I think there is background fluff that Elves and Humans can interbreed. Maybe the Khajiit and Argonians are too different for it to work.

Cannot marry any Khajiit.
You can marry argonians, but only three of them.
Derkeethus(M) in Darkwater Crossing
Scouts-Many-Marshes(F) in Windhelm
Shahvee(M) in Windhelm.
Edit: Since you can only marry people you impress by your actions, I'm guessing Khajiit are just not impressed by someone that can fight Dragons one on one.

I think there are just some characters that you can't marry period.
Lots of people won't even have a conversation with you, they just say something without the conversation diologue box even popping up. No interactivity beyond that.

Guys I need your help.
I am gonna start Skyrim and im unsure as to what class/race etc I should go for.
Now, Ive played Morrowind before so I know about the races and what they're good at. Now I'll be fairly noobish in the beginning so I need to know which race is the most noob friendly, and which perks I need to upgrade etc. Also does it matter what side you join?

There are no classes. you just upgrade abilities as you want them.
As for races, it really doesn't matter who you pick, although being a Nord is nice because of the 50% Frost resistance. Frost Dragons are really tough. The abilities pretty much balance out and there isn't any race that has an advantage.
If you havn't played any Elder Scrolls games since morrowwind you might not be very familiar with the way the game runs. it changed significantly from Oblivion.
Magic is super powerful in this game. I think they waaay overcompensated from Oblivion where magic was kinda meh.

Also the ways the Signs work is different, and some of the Greater Powers (based on Race, now) are different, such as the Dunmer's Ancestor Guardian now lights yourself on fire, instead of summoning an ancestor ghost. Prolly has something to do with how Vvardenfel was annihilated.

I have found that Bretons are superior as far as spellcasters go. The high elves have higher magic which is fine, but you fight so many enemies that cast spells or deal magic damage (dragons for instance) that the Breton's passive and activated powers are just too good to pass up. Realistically however, you do not need the passive abilities of any class to get through the game, so I would just use whatever race you prefer. You will want to play through the game several times so you can experience all the sides of the game.

I've gone though all the different faction quest lines except now I just have to join the stormcloaks (I'll do imperial on a 2nd character some day) and then finish the main quest line.
But most of this weekend when I was playing, I decided to just hop on Shadowmere and have Mjoll the Lioness Wifepackmule follow around with her epic ebony armor and massive warhammer. And then we just wandered around. Ended up finding all kinds of fun stuff, dunegons and dragons I never though I'd find, a lot bunch of different shouts I never knew existed. There's a whole world of stuff out there waiting for you to find.
I'm level 47 now. or 48? The game's been a life sucker since the day it came out, now I think I want to just finish up those last 2 quest lines and then get my life back.

So, I've given up on the entire Skyrim civil war, and now I just assault groups of Stormcloak and Imperial soldiers in the forests.
Now I'm waiting for a mod that lets me assassinate Tullius and Ulfric.

I'm betting they're protected by the 'Important Person' thing they had in Oblivion, where they just fall down until their health regenerates.

They should have kept that out. It worked out in Fallout: New Vegas and it worked out in Morrowind.

Just found my first bug:
I am with the General and the Legate in Ulfric's Palace. They talk, we fight(well I fight and the General and Legate watch), I kick both Goldar's and Ulfric's asses, but the quest doesn't register saying so. We all just stay locked in the palace. the Stormcloaks on their knees and the Imperials looking at the carpet with weapons drawn.

Mine has a funny bug..
I sided with the Imperials because the nords are ridiculously short sighted and racist, gleefully killed Ulfric and his big mate, and completed the story arc.
But his body is STILL slumped half over the throne in Solitude weeks later, and the new Jarl just sorta.. sits on his face and casually talks to me.

So they say the game is different depending on the race you choose and decisions you make.. but how different is it? Likeyou have your dark brotherhood, thieves guild, companions, etc.. Won't those quests all be pretty much the same either way? And you can join the stormcloaks or imperials, but other than that what's really different?
Or is it just a handful of side quests, and a few different guard 1-liners like "You're a stinky dark elf" instead of "you're a stinky breton"?

Yeah, they just say different things. Like if you complete the quest Taste of Death some guards will say: If you do some of the Dark Brotherhood quests:
