Is it true that theres one questline were you arent the dragonborn?

It also produces some really weird moments. I returned to Makarth days, maybe even a week, after helping with a certain prison escape, only to see the bodies of guards still scattered across the ground. I mean, I get leaving dead foresworn on the ground as a warning to the others, but you've left fellow guards were they died. They were your friends, maybe even your family, and you just walk past their decaying corpses, without even looking down. You don't even seem to mind when I loot them.
What is wrong with you people?

I had one guard say that after some serious thinking on the issue, he thinks maybe he is the dragonborn.

No no. Far more important, is that the bodies aren't rotting! I conducted a study of corpses of guards and thieves in Riften and Markarth and my research suggests that no one in Skyrim ever decays! Even after months! I sense black magics at work here
EDIT: Though, why grave robbing and stealing off corpses isn't a crime is a little odd. I'm sure we've all murdered someone here and there, just to stand up, have a guard say hi and watch us take everything of worth off the victim.

Maybe they took the time to embalm the corpse, and they'll totally get around to moving it later

Even when it's a case of looting corpses I didn't kill. I remember killing that first dragon outside the watchtower, and while everyone is saying I'm such a great hero I'm taking stuff from the corpse of every soldier
"Mmm, yep, uh huh, it's possible I could be the dragonborn, a warrior of great destiny here to blah de blah, ooh look this one had a gem on him!"

IMO is seems you wouldnt be the Dragonborn if you dont go any further than the watchtower quest as nobody has seen you take the soul of a dragon so therefore you cant be Dragonborn.
EDIT: Spelling. Early morning typing doest go well for me.

When the rich rage war it's the poor who die
Armies I have: Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, High Elves
Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar
Armies I may get: Dark Angels, Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts
Well, i was told there is one quest chain where you are a blade and you help the dragonborn or hinder them in their quest.

Well, then you were told wrong, because your character is the only Dragonborn in Skyrim.
There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.
I had to assassinate someone for the DB in the whiterun castle.. he was just some guy sitting there eating in front of the jarl and an arrow to the back of the head was all it took. It took like a whole game month for the jarl's men to remove the body. Every time I went there to talk to a NPC or use the enchanter station, I'd here someone in the other room be like "Who did this?!" or "OMG WTF" and stuff. I mean, don't ya think they guy would start to stink after a few days?

Anyone else find their detsro/resto character way OTT? I stopped at level 16 and restarted as a dual wielding stealth character, which is at least somewhat challenging.

I stopped my destruction / conjuration mage to play a stealth character.
It got to the point where I just had to summon two storm atronachs and then sit back and relax.

Walked up to a keep and saw a necromancer, about to attack her and a dragon attacks. I start fighting the dragon and so does the necro. While fighting, I fall off a cliff (didn't die) walked back up the hill just as the necro kills the dragon, I get the xp and the soul. Then I kill the necro.
Second one: I was at the one town w/ the spider infested mine, can't remember the name. I walk into town as a dragon starts attacking. It flies around attacking as normal and it disappears behind a building and then out of no where, a swarm of spiders and wolves start attacking the town. Is that supposed to happen or is it some weird bug?

Maybe it's just me but I think there was some balancing done too.. had an ancient dragon fall on my head last night and I burned through like 30 potions just to stay alive. I tried hacking and slashing and he was killing me in 2 hits (at level 48) when just over the weekend the same kinda dragon died quick & easy.
Aside from some tough fights like that one, the game still seems pretty much on EZMode with the stealth/bow build I did. If I do another play through I'll probably go for a pure tank type.

I've noticed dragons seeming to aggro half the world on the fly bys, then when it dies or flies off, the aggro'd creatures turn on the closest targets, sometimes mid fight....it's quite funny watching horses kick them to death.
I was strolling down a road in Hjaalmarch with my "companion" when a giant & mammoth rushed upon me. At first, I gak my archmage robes. I had steered clear of giants since being crushed early-game on the field west of Whiterun. But then I remembered I was wearing archmage robes and decided to drive paralysis-inducing ice spikes into the great oaf. Suddenly, a dragon landed on top of me and started on the mammoth. But my horse killed the mammoth so the dragon turned to me. At that point, the giant was at half health so I flung ice at the dragon. I was getting a bit worried when, seemingly out of nowhere, some Khajit I had helped appeared and went to town on the dragon. It was that cat that asked me to find his moon amulet. A minute or so later, I was absorbing dragon soul while putting the final ice spike into the giant. That was a close one, thought I, and yet it was not over. The Khajit proceeded to get in my face. I "sheathed my weapon" (put my hands in my pockets?) but the formerly friendly kitties were having none of it. So I was forced to murder them and I took Garfield's moon amulet, so lately returned to him by yours truly, as a keepsake.
I believe this is what the Nords call a clusterfeth.

Stupid area effect attacks, they always get me in trouble.
I was in Dawnstar and it was under dragon attack. Being the helpful sort of chap I decide to kill the dragon. I think this would be a wonderful time to try out Storm Call.
Apparently Storm Call attacks everything in the vicinity, including my horse Fortunantly I only ended up with 140 bounty, but it was real disappointing. A cool shout I can't use if there are friends aroun.

Well, after the second (Lydia died first time) attack on Fort Greenwall (I say attack, I mean trying to time my strikes so that after the screen freezes and lag that plagued the assault, I might actually hit something), having told Lydia to wait and then being attacked by a dragon, so she went into attack mode and I couldn't talk to her, she's buggered off with all my dragon bones and dragon scales and a host of other stuff she was pack-muling for me.
Bloody AI.

Buy a house and stuff your bones in a dresser. Mine has like 50 bones and scales tucked away next to my fine dinnerware fancy hats.
I haven't used Lydia in a while, I married Mjoll the Lioness from Riften and she's head to toe in flawless ebony armor plus the ebony mail that I got from some quest somewhere, that helps her sneak better, and a big ole ebony warhammer with a fire enchant on it. She smacks bandits back to last tuesday.
Lydia is sitting in my house, always eating bread and cheese in my bedroom. She has a bedroom of her own but she never uses it. Would be nice if you could run around with more than 1 companion.
I dunno which would be a better fighter, I'm assuming they would both be exactly the same if you give em both the same gear.
I'm not that far into the storyline yet, i'm having fun beating other stuff up.
A conjuration warrior (heavy armour, shield, bound weaponry) is actually quite decent. I might experiment with dual wielded bound blades, but I like being able to break people's faces with my shield.
@Buying a house: Can't afford one, i'm pretty much skint at the moment, and i'm sick of bloody Breezehome, so i'm saving up for another one somewhere.

I have to ask - does anyone else wish there was a bit of multiplayer in the game? Even a teensy-tiny bit of coop? With Skyrim's 'skill' leveling, it'd be interesting to see what kind of combo's you could pull off.

Thank goodness, I was feeling rather ignored by those dragons.
As far as multiplayer goes I would not want it in this game. I stop by my house to pick up some potions and next thing you know my"friend" has made off with all of my good armor, bones/scales, and my wife.
I kinda wish the dragons still would not attack... sometimes I was in the middle of going somewhere and just didn't feel like killing em.. same with bears.
I also kind of wish they would have given merchants unlimited funds to buy stuff, or maybe let them have more cash later as you progress and do business with them... My house has a chest full of gems and rings and other "valuables" that no one can buy cuz they can't afford to. I'm prolly just gonna go dump em in a lake somewhere.
