We'll find out soon enough eh.
|
Oh, I hope that means they've actually split the ruins off into their own box entirely and everything in the other three is intact, rather than those all being X number of intact sprues plus the ruins.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.
"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

I'm not sure that's possible. From the sprue pictures posted earlier, it seems like the intact walls are all on their own sprues but what I think may be the floor tiles are grouped with ruined walls.
Unless there are extra floor sprues we haven't seen, of course. Or if my eyes fail me, which is quite possible, too.

If you have studied the pics you should know by now that Ruins are ruins and other three are collection of shared intact wall sprues, floors, building specific sprues and Ruins. If you want to have access to all different sprues, you need to buy only Basilicanum and Sanctum. Ruins and Administratum do not contain anything that is not available in Basilicanum or Sanctum.
Looks like I was correct assuming that all ruined pieces are included in half-size sprues.

You can see some of the rules in here (in case you speak french)
https://youtu.be/nceAwPE9ABw?t=1479
Grey Knights for example seem to have only the Strike Squad as a unit (there go my terminator hopes) and Thousand Sons seem to have Rubrics and Tzaangors

Looks like it confirms that what's in the Community articles is the full extent of what's available to the Kill Teams too.
Only CSM for Heretic Astartes seems odd - we'll find out in a couple of hours though.
Plague Marines and Poxwalkers for Death Guard suits me though - I already have plenty of the new plastic Plague Marines converted up with a range of weapons.
Any kind French speakers who can break down what's in the video (if there's any new info)?

That just leaves CWE as the faction that'll get 6 choices then? I thought it'd be CSM, because Marines and Cultists are obvious, and the four Cults would make a great counterpoint to Primaris.

You'd never get Thousand Sons of Death Guard because they exist separately, but Berzerkers and Noise Marines with some Chosen/Fallen and Possessed thrown in would have been a nice list.

Yeah, you're right, the most we've got so far is five with GSC IIRC.
Hmmmmm... I mean, I know it's a hell of a longshot, but I'd LOVE to see
Rangers, Dire Avengers, Guardians, Scorpions, Banshees, Storm Guardians
but it'll most likely be
Rangers, Dire Avengers, Guardians, Storm Guardians, Wraithguard, Wraithblades.
As dumb as that is. Hurp Durp nobody can have terminators cuz theyre 2 strong with 2+ save but T6 W3 3+ is just fine.

It looks like there's buckets of wargear options in general - that would be nice.

Oh. so the whole "1-6 unit choices" thing was what we in the business call a "lie".
I'm sure games workshop would have never pumped up that number on the high end to try and get people hyped.

It's possible, but seems unlikely, that some units could be cross-'faction' - such as DG/TS taking Cultists or CSM taking DG/Rubrics. Seems unlikely.
It's also possible that one of the 5-option armies has a unit that could be considered 2 units. But none that I remember.
Most likely answers are:
-We're missing an option (or 4) on one of the unreleased factions
-The 6 should have been a 5 or was changed late in the process

It could also just be that 6 is the cap, and that there are future expansions etcetera that introduce a faction with 6 options or bump the existing ones up to 6.

Or it's been put in there for stuff coming down the pipe,
as has been said before this is meant to stick around for the long haul so no point in printing 5 in the main box if there are plans (or might be plans) for 6

I wouldn't read too much into that.
Remember that the 'basic' Drone does the following:
Gun Drone
Shield Drone
Markerlight Drone
Then you have the Pathfinder Drones:
Pulse Accelerator Drone
Recon Drone
Grav-Inhibitor Drone
I'm guessing the 7th is the Sniper Drone, which is its own unit normally.

Oh?? I honestly thought that was what they were setting as the board and was trying to accommodate - remembering that, as we've been told repeatedly, this is the team that designed Shadespire, a game with fairly strict dimensions. No worries remotely if the table is unbound / undefined, I assumed the board was the board. - Salvage
