Finished building some trees.

This evenings hobby time is once again dedicated to repair work on some vintage Tau.
This time: 8 Crisis suits & 7 Broadsides.

I've painted 3 Wizkids "crawling claws"; they're zombie hands like Thing.

Had the miniature wargaming club with the kids, and while only two kids arrived, we had a good time. Finished the game from last week, and the kids drew characters they want me to make in Hero Forge. We'll have them 3d printed eventually. One was easy enough, a robot in the garb of an Imperial Guardsman. The other one...is like a half-monkey, half-duck man with a sword and a shield. So...I don't know how I'll make that one, lol.

That last post was meant to be posted yesterday, but I forgot to do it before I went to sleep. We had a day off today, so I was able to do some hobbying, and I finally worked up the courage to begin painting the newest version of Attelus Kaltos for my diorama. I managed almost to finish him, and I'm quite happy with him!











Because I frigged up and made him have his parting on the left rather than the right, the scar on Attelus' face is revealed to the world lol anyone have any good ways of painting scars? It's a huge, rough ugly scar on his left cheek.

Continued working on the next three old lead Harlequins to complete a troupe.

Now that the repairs to the Tau that I can make atm & the needed bitz ordered....

Attention turns back to the SM Predator force.
Time to build (another) Predator.

Assembled and primed four heavy weapon Chaos Marines.

Magnetising a dracosan and two malcador defenders, made tank commanders for each of them too. They will of course be able to lay down even more dakka from their pintle weapons.

I'm going back to my roots, painting an otter and a marine.

Procured a second Leviathan, which I should have built by the end of the day.

Continued working on the next three old lead Harlequins to complete a troupe.

Finally managed to finish a game of my TT Skirmish game, The Angaran Chronicles: The Skirmish Game, that I began with my friend a couple of weeks ago. The Jaroai Summoning Ritual scenario I did in my first and so far only BatRep I posted here:https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/809375.page.

I lost by a very small margin, but we had a ton of fun. The Jaroai was summoned, and despite the best efforts of my remaining characters and the mercenary gangers who switched sides at the sight of the horrid eldritch abomination, it survived the fifth extra round. So yeah.

Then I began base painting two Chaos Marines.

Finally, after a long time finding a collecting all the models I wanted, I have completed my Frostgrave Warband!





Servac the Blue Wizard and his crew ready to steal stuff and rob tombs! Models are a mix of Official Frostgrave minis, Bones models, old GW Brettonians, Dungeons and Doggos as well as an Oathmark Dwarf.

Now to continue on another Warband....


Oh, also 1000th post!

Anyway, back on topic, finally, we got the drill press and drilled the holes for the bases of Attelus Kaltos and Adelana Helgen's from Secret War bases into my diorama base! Something we've meant to do for a month? A long while now. Then glued the magnets in the holes and on the bases of Attelus and Adelana, and it turned out great!





I did a few other things which I will elaborate more on in my blog.

I then did a bit more work on my Chaos Marines, which wasn't as fun, lol.

I've been reorganizing my space for hobby things. It's bigger now! More room to mess up in.

Finished the next three old lead Harlequins to complete a troupe.

This afternoon some of the replacement Tau bitz I 'd ordered arrived.

So tonight my Pathfinders got their rail-rifles & I've built the shield drones for my broadsides.

More progress on my diorama and mostly completed my two Chaos Marines, and began painting the next pair.

Had the weekly game afternoon with the kids today. They played The Angaran Chronicles: The Skirmish Game and it went well! Here's some photos.

It's Axis & Allies day! Finally.
We've been trying to get this game coordinated for over a month now....

Assembled and painted an MDF paint rack to make some more space at the working desk. Also sprayed the Models and Minis Hornet down with Army Painter Skeleton Horde and Desert Sand for a quick and dirty desert camo scheme with bluetack doing the masking.

I took the big step and super glued the Chaos Cultists to the diorama. It's almost finished; so proud of it now!



























Oh, and I also mostly finished my Chaos Marines. I might've done more but have been super achy, especially in my fingers after working a lot, prepping a room for painting in a 150-year-old building. So much scraping and blah blah blah, but I digress lol.

Today we wage Waaaagh!

The Red Gobbo has reached an agreement with a newly formed Ork warband to lend them armored & mechanized support.

The deal: 1st dibbs on scrap/loot.
The plan: use the stupid Orks as a meat shield/distraction as we grab the loot.
