Oooh that sounds good! There was a thread where someone did that to the gorgon troops a while back, see if i can dig it up....

Me too! From what I've seen around the net some seperate very easily and require NO green stuff at all... at the other end of the scale some require alot of greenstuff work... gonna try my best and save all 50! Only issue with doing it this way is that you get alot of static looking troops, I hope to mix these in with existing and future squads to minimize the "Bored" look of the troops Gonna try changing some of the arms and weapons also... dont know how well they will turn out but at least I tired!

Im sure you'll do fine! I think the 2 man strips are easy, as are the ones on the end of the strips. The guardsmen in the middle of the strips are another matter however :/

Ok... Order will arrive any day now... gone for:

1x Gorgon Troops
2x Death Korps Arm upgrade packs (1xHQ and 1xWeapons)
Heavy Bolter Squad (3 Teams) Which completes my first Infantry Platoon, HOORAH!

When this arrives its going to be work work work on these as I will not buy any more till these are done.... thats what I'm telling myself.... plus its xmas soon.... its time for someone else to buy me Death Korps!

those minis are just beautifull , and you have done them justice with your colour scheme. impressive stuff.

They should be arriving tomorrow. I'm working all night then its home to sit by the door until the postman comes
If they arrive tomorrow I will start the separation in the evening and post progress. IF they don't arrive tomorrow there will instead be progress pictures of my Engineers!

hmmm, judging by the date you posed previous post, the gorgon troops should have arrived today (or still should ). that, or I'm horribly wrong again, and sounding like a hyperactive one.

Yeah... you are right... they still have not arrived :( Normally my FW stuff comes in 2-3 days... this is 3rd day so for the first time we are in to day 4 :(

My lovely fiancee got me a GW paint station today, one of the now OOP Wooden ones.... everyone loves her at local GW... she walks in and every staff member rushes to help her! hehehe.. they even sourced one of these from another store as the have been discontinued.. and said this is one of the last in stores! ITs good to have a hot fiancee !

Wouldn't sweat on the FW, they can be incredibly erratic frustrating though :/

Gorgon Arrival!

Troops I have circled have already been separated simply by snapping them with my hands... others will be harder...progress as it happens!

And the DKK get some reinforcements. good luck with the seperation.

Thanks guys! As I said before I have order 2 arm sets so hope to use these for ones that would otherwise have to visit the Quartermaster Also in that box is 3x heavy bolter teams

Going to pick my FIANCEE up from work and then hope to work on these in the evening as shes working again tomorrow and normally goes to bed early which is when I spend time with my Mistress of Krieg!

Thanks Jimmy. After the easy ones things get tough. Had a few feet ping across the room but recovered and glued back on. I have separated around half so far. Once they have all been separated the GS and rearming will begin.

OH, some progress. Here are the ones that require either a little or no greenstuff. I was able to carve out most of the sleeves so only a little work is required. Managed to save the sergeant also, I had to totally remove one of his arms and also carve off his holstered pistol.... but as luck would have it I have a holstered pistol to replace it and also an arm so he can have a sword! Will get a pic up of him when completed Others will require a hell of alot of work... especially those mofo's that are in the middle of squads where they are overlapped by 2 guys at once Oh and my hand is also cover in cuts now.... BLOOD FOR THE KRIEG GOD!

AT LAST! A DEVOTED KREIGER! Youre painting style fits the noble warriors perfectly. Love ALL of it dude, youre doing a great job! Subscribe!
