That's a nice supply drop Glom! Oils take FOREVER to dry, you can move those around for hours over a gloss coat. Get some floor wax with Future..you can brush it on, and the big bottle will last you forever!

I really dig the sentinel..especially the top! You should do an artillery scene, with the camo net overhead!

Unfortunately, the truck will have to wait until after the weekend. I am going to my mom's house today, and won't have room for the truck. I will be taking pictures of the Iron Warriors, though. if only to hold you over.

I just realized that both my camera and the truck are right next to me, so the pictures (which I just took) should be here today. also: you shouldn't wear a shirt while supergluing, at least if you're like me: superglue + cotton = burns, and, possibly fire. trust me, I learned this the hard way

??? superglue and cotton can cause burns... well if i use more than just the odd droplet of superglue then i wear gloves anyway^^

It can seep through the clothes to cause burns, too. It also happens with wool. And if you spill too much, it can start a fire (haven't had this happen to me, probably because of the shirt thing )

Glom, you should check out Maker Fair, it's a huge convention where people show off these types of wares.

Where is this convention? I don't travel very often, and when I do, it's mostly family vacations. Though if it's in Baltimore, I might be able to persuade my family to visit my sister, and take a little "detour".

That sounds really cool! I am currently working on some 1/72 scale steampunk models (I'm modifying them to be steampunk). I am planning to leave for hobbytown in about 10 minutes.

The only bigger ones I have found can be described thusly: "Big like predator, priced like thunderbolt!" Yeah, $100 for a big thing of glue! I wonder what day of the week I would run out of it if I bought it now ! What I really need is a precision tip, and more focus/patience.

I buy 2OZ bottles from my FLHS, they come from very thin to very thick, you should get some accellerator too, put it in a syringe so you can carefully apply it 1 drop at a time.

I swear, this site is out to get me...

sn't that a Tiger Tank turret on that predator? i got a Demolisher that would make a good bro to that Predator. a Rhino salvaged with a SHerman tank turret and has a lascannon and heavy flamers!

The Steam Tank looks sweet too. WHat kind of M3 Lee model kit you use? I have a M3 Lee Malcador Annialator (loads of las cannons, plus a demolisher cannon) the Old Ork Crusha!

Thanks! You are right about the predator turret, and the m3 is a 1/72 scale kit from hasegawa. I have been doing some 1/72 steampunk stuff, including the plane, and a whole mess of infantry (not much conversion work done on them, though. The steampunk will be mostly in the paintjobs).
