Where's this whole 'space Communist' thing come from? Do people even know what Communism is?

The Kasrkin were just men. It made their actions all the more astonishing. Six white blurs, they fell upon the cultists, lasguns barking at close range. They wasted no shots. One shot, one kill. - Eisenhorn: Malleus

I think it's the whole "Greater Good" angle they have going, despite the fact that it pretty much applies to the Imperium as well. I don't think many people do. If I recall correctly the USSR wasn't technically Communist was it?

For me I would go with one of these options:
A:Tyranid hive mind
B:Tau
C:Other (it could be cool being a C'tan or some other weird alien race)
D:space marines (not too sure about this one though)

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
MILK FOR THE CORNFLAKES

I would be Yined, sorry if it is spelt incorrectly. Rumour has it that when all the Eldar are dead, their souls will form together, and make the most powerful god in the universe, aka Yined, powerful enough to destroy the chaos gods, C'taan etc.

Space Marine! Because i really need the structure and discipline and because if everyone is going to die anyway might as well die in a really cool glorious way. Failing that I wouldnt mind being a gun servitor or an incence bearer.

I have a concept of a day in the life of a SM in wartime and peace time but how is the life for a CSM? Someone mentioned soul hunter as a source but I know nothing of it's contents and am curious.

No such thing as peace time for CSM

Why would they want peace time?

Lol! No no I wasn't asking about peace time CSM life but life in general. Or is everything just "what happens in the eye of terror stays in the eye of terror" type of sentiment when it comes to anything not related to them getting killed.

OH!!!! that makes sense....

I'm not sure, I'd picture it to be just like a SM's life except with more spikes and corruption. Plus the added bonus of attaining daemonhood! And supplication of the gods! But other than that, not much I can say. I guess they have slaves to do any menial tasks... (Blood Gorgons, Night Lords)

I'm surprised more people wouldn't want to be daemons. You never have to worry about dying, you don't have to be scared of the warp... or pretty much anything, you can convince people to worship you, make occasional jaunts to the realspace and have fun with mortal souls. Worst case scenario some stupid inquisitor tries to bind you to a host, but even that could end up being funny.

Regular human or space marine, because I am not a species traitor. Ignoring my current species, Eldar.

A Tau firewarrior, you have good chances of surviving a battle (running away). If not an imperial guard just for the laser gun!

Mainly a LOTR SBG wargamer, still trying to create a worthy Tau force.

Eldar. Your pretty safe on a craftworld, you get awesome psychic powers. The tech is sweet and life is generally oppresion free and nice.
