My orks are definitely looting that awesome vending machine idea! Why orks? Who else would build a vending machine in a jungle?
It won't be as good as yours, of course... oh well; might as well go for something that a mortal can achieve.
Actually, it would probably work for this ork vehicle dealership that I am working on...

Yes, it's in my gallery: in da ork konvoy. Glad to see you approve I'm actually thinking of changing the living quarters into a showroom of sorts.
Now, let's get back to the awesomeness of this thread. Sorry for the shameless plug.

As for what is next? -I still have 2 buildings and several walkways to paint, then I will be needing to build a few more walkways.

Some other thoughts bouncing around my head unorganized and unplanned like a cacaphony of pong pixels....
slag heap/mineral outcrop (mining)
Holestead (nutrious slime farming)
water still
"wildsnake" and/or "second best" liquor still
Drinking hole
archaeotech
Old Ruins

Oh, and of course 4 more gangs to paint

Basically, any of the territories you can roll between games. I thought that might be a cool way of making a bonus objective during a game too. If the game is played on a tableincluding one of these features, it is aquired by the winning gang in addition to what they can roll. These could be a great income booster in a campaign, although it will probably backfire against me playing..knowing my luck it will just buy my opponent more hated flamers

i think the archeotech idea is the one that atm intrigues me the most...i remember seeing a competition on terragenesis...that has so much potential...and for scratchbuilding this could be a treue eyeopener...

what about some old rocket launching facility? with all those big screens and stuff... a big and of course brutally looted launching pad...all crumbled and torn apart by scavangers... i see lots of ripped and torn cables...i mean that is what evry major video game has as a setting^^...

or...

the frankenstein lab...some hideous creatures long forgotten inside their glass tombs...lots of racks and tables with testing tubes and big levers for the final juicing up of new built monsters^^...

or...

aynthing alienlooking...really an old and destroyed webway of the eldars

or...

how about some cargo cult flying machine in the image of a flying brick?...

or...how about something from the movie the "fly" ? like the transporter room...?

well i seem to have spent my gunpowder for now...more after some reactions of yours^^

Vik- I like the rocket site and lab ideas on their own, but rockets are not likeley, remember where we are in the hive, the underhive.

20 miles wide at the current ground level, the current ground level is all industrial sludge solidified, and dust in an unbreathable cloud cover.

Amazing work. Those pics of the rat skinz in your terrain are incredible. They fit right in with the old pics, as you showed in that last post of inspiration pics. The vending machine is fantastic. I love the "coin slot" section is ripped out. Also, great use of unaltered nails! Damn, they are perfect. Way to get it right on all accounts.

Your collection is shaping up quite nicely, a few dozen more buildings and I'd say you had enough

THanks! Oooh- I'd better check my funds quickly! (see below where my pennies went today) good price! Thanks Unicorn

Green, I love hearing that from you man! Thank you!

Vik and Rawson- That is the Departmento Munitorum yard where the raw supplies are gathered and sorted for construction. I never got all that styrene from the uber-drop sorted out yet

Michael's had a one-day only coupon for 25% off my entire supply drop!

Airbrush holder, extra 10' of air hose (I desperately NEEDED these), bottles, adaptors, pre-thinned paint (I have not the balls to thin my own yet until I get the feel for it)

I especially like this adapter, just shake, screw..

...Load and go!

Run two color-cups of windex and then some clean water through the airbrush, rinse the adapter, and cleanup is done.

EXACTLY Vik!!

I am making mistakes, but learning from them.
See the brighter blue run on the front support? I got a little too overzealous there
..Being able to confidently clean the airbrush makes it a tool you want to play with more -I think that is it for me, time shall tell.

and yep...learning by doing...otherwise i would be talking to you anyways... no one showed me how to do computers, internet or painting....seems i have to learn everything on trial...same with cooking by the way... and i got quite good in that^^
