I woke up this morning to GW's hilarious new paint line. Can they do nothing right nowadays?
Change every single paint name for no reason than to re copyright, release new "pre-watered" paints (thats blowing my mind, what con artists) and STILL use their terrible new pots?

RW thats.. thats amazing.
The wings, ahaha. Brilliant. I love seeing people take game mechanics and actually add them to models as physical representations. It adds SO much character.
I have spent over 10 hours painting in the last 2 days and am having an absolute NIGHTMARE trying to get decent shots in my new apartment.
Every single area I try is either slightly too bright or slightly too dark ambient lighting and I am slowly going mad. Going to have to keep experimenting tomorrow. I want to show the stuff I've been working so hard on but every shot I have at the moment is craaaap :( This is horrible. Really horrible.
I am also slowly getting through Pm's and emails each time I sit down with the time to do so. If anyone has not heard back yet don't worry, you aren't being ignored, I just hate sending replies that did not have proper thought put into them.

The ork and the termy are superb , you always capture great contrast and colour in your models , they are bright and dark at the same time , quite an achievement. sorry to hear you struggling with the light .

Haha, no sorry lads, I have SO much to show and am not getting shots good enough to show them.. its getting infuriating.
I have Gits flyboy finished, the space wolves based and ready to go.. work on some more orks on the way, and I can't get shots that do them any justice :(
I don't like to keep updating with only text so I've gone quiet untill I can actually show these things.. Im going to get pics up tonight even if Im not happy with them. Its that or nothing :S

I..I think I found a way to photo these.
They have to be shot with the shutter open for 3.5 seconds and it is horrible but I think the pictures actually turned out remotely detailed and nice. NO ONE JINX THIS FOR ME, OH GOD, PLEASE. DON'T.
So first up is Gits Flyboy, Gits has been a patient saint of a man as I have not had photo updates for this guy when I should have...
Gits if you want any additional detailing or anything added/removed, just pm me. I kept him on the safe side, but he has some bad moon marks on his jacket and a bitchin tattoo. Because he is boss.
I had to lighten the shots a bit to show additional detail, he is a little darker and his greens a little richer in real life.
The goggles.. do nothing.
He has some lovely skin detailing but having to add light to the picture afterwards may have subtracted from it a bit, ack. It could just be this monitor as it looks much better on my other one. CURSE YOU, TECHNOLOGY.
As for the Space Wolves, dudes are all done now bar the dreads banner which the owner still has to decide on. I am exceptionally happy with their weathering, skin, and bone effects. They do however need a little more glow added to their runes and their bases to be tidied up slightly.
He wanted the snow to be "off white" slightly grey and a bit dirty, so the snow mix is 50% pumice with certain areas thickened on top afterwards. Pics can be clicked FO BIG.
Dread is not quite done, but I am very happy with the fur and bone -

I got him off e-bay a couple of years back... when my Bad Moons were my main focus. Plus of the show-only models... he was one of the more affordable ones. I think he'll serve as the runt herd for my Big Gunz battery as he looks like he's responding to a request for an artillery strike from the field.
