I've seen the starter go for around £75 on Black Fridays, but never any lower than £90 normally. Most sites are still floating the £100-£120 range.

The unit boxes that you get in faction starters (Sworn Swords, Guardsmen, Wardens, Screamers, etc) tend to have discounts during sales events, but anything you have to buy outside of it I pretty much never see on a discount sale. The initial first wave of a new release always seems to sell out very reliably, which is both a blessing and a curse when Asmodee's horrific distribution means things like Rose Knights are only just coming back in stock almost exactly a year later.

I said hey! What's going on.

Note the tiny He-Man in the doorway is a regular CMON sized He-Man in the doorway.

Condo Greyskull. Nice.

Okay, it’s more of a townhouse.

Yeah, it looked like a huge castle on the original toy box art, but really was a two story townhouse for action figures. But you know, power of imagination and all that.

That's a good call on Heroscape, I wonder if this game will take from that at all, just given how beloved it was by its fans.

Received my replacement Zombicide Zombies & companions Upgrade Kit today.

Unfortunately the new set of cards have also been cut significantly off centre. The issue isn't quite as bad as last time and at least no cards haven't torn due to poor cutting. At least these are usable if I sleeve my cards in opaque sleeves.

Here is a preview of the He-Man game revealed today at On the Table Gaming, which is a small channel that does a lot of CMON videos. Goes over the basic idea of the game, which is that it's a hex map skirmish game where each side beats each other up.

came here to post the youtube video but instead will post an image. Totally looks like you could use heroscape terrain for this. And sadly I sold mine to a buddy only a few months ago.

Anyone have a rundown of how the two competing He Man board game campaigns differ besides obviously the locations? Like pros and cons of both.

CMONs is closer to Monolith's conan/batman boargames. Sudo wargames with a GM vs players (with other solo options).

Archon's game is more area control boardgame like Bloodrage or Chaos in the old World.

That's about as much as I've really followed them for game play.

What Monkeysloth said. Also you're probably going to get way more minis with CMON, though I liked Archon Studios sculpts a little more. And having to probably pay $100 to use a shipping service to get the game not licensed to your part of the world seems like a big con for whichever one that is.

I didn't even realize Quackalope did a video today too. We can put up the link for that. In case anyone actually wants to watch several hours of He-Man content.

Featuring a CMON branded face mask, a 1000 piece puzzle and drink coasters featuring Adrian Smith's art from Rising Sun, stickers and playing cards featuring art from Cthulhu: Death May Die, and seven unique pins!

Wow. Ya. $100 for a bunch of pins and the other stuff is probably fair but you'd really have to love those games for it to be worth it.

Yep. I have both CMON and Archon miniatures, and, while both are fine for boardgamers, Archon's plastic quality is better. CMON's miniatures will be pre-assembled, and probably monopose. Essentially, CMON knows its primary audience will still be boardgamers, who don't want to assemble stuff, nor are assumed to paint it. (Not that too many interested in the He-Man boardgames will have the luxury of choosing between the two versions...).

And, yes, you can add water to it and use it as a wash. See Les Bursley's wash.

Hello bear cavalry!

What are the Thundercats intended for? Zombicide Black Plague? Massive Darkness?

Crossover into He Man possibly even? That'd be something!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Thundercats are for Zombicide (2nd edition). They mentioned that while Ghostbusters has 1st edition support they are going to phase that out as 2nd edition is the focus now not sure when though.

Also in other news CMON have dropped their own pledge manger and will be using Backerkit in future

Has anybody got any info on UK release dates for the Greyjoy miniatures?

I grabbed a starter box a few weeks ago and I managed to get a game in yesterday, but I'd really like some more bows and a unit of ironmakers to play a 40 point game. I've seen several pics on reddit of painted ironmakers (one as old as 3 months ago) but they're still only showing as available for pre-order or as unavailable in the UK stores.

The ASoiF releases really seem to have dried up in the UK, nothing new for about 8 weeks now, just a few restocks. Hopefully they will pick up again soon as we are currently falling quite far behind.

Hmmm, a gaming company that has actually realized when it comes to IT, hiring a secondary company who knows what they're doing and will do it for a reasonable price is preferable to thinking you can build it yourself and save a couple nickels, until of course there's a problem and you have to pay a secondary IT company to fix it anyway?

Thanks. I didn't realise it was that bad. I guess it's not just the greyjoys waiting on releases then. Hopefully things get better but I was reading that they've had troubles providing updates due to a paper shortage too, so I guess any improvements won't necessarily be quick.
